Its a beautiful nature walk through the trails. The 3 parks are nice for the kids. The whole family loves to disc gold here. The bridge and river are nice for pictures.

This lovely little park contains a paved path around a lake, with the option to take a bridge across the lake as part of the main loop, or complete the full circle. There is also an offshoot in the southwest direction that allows you to connect to the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail.

Beautiful park based around a gorgeous lake. Went for the 24 hole disc golf course and enjoyed it very much since the last time I was here. (Paved tee pads!!) Only reason it isnt a 5 star is because of various branches and debris littering course.

A really nice little park with a great walking path, road around the lake, wildlife, etc.Bring the family, the dog, or any combination of things and enjoy.A nice disc golf course, grilling or barbeque areas spread throughout, and a nice walk or calm biking adventure await. The bridge is a nice highlight with a 5 ton capacity, though Im not sure what would get closer to that limit.

Very beautiful park with lots of parking and open fields, but more importantly, disc golf! 24 hole course, the layout of the holes are a little hard to navigate but newly put up signs at least point you to the next hole.Parking is free, lots of walking paths/trails/grills. Several picnic tables and areas to sit, playground equipment also around certain areas of the park. Lots of fishing spots along with shade trees to sit under. Three entrances/exits that I know of, if all of gates are opened which is a seasonal thing. Gates are usually opened after Memorial day and then closed after Labor day unless the park is hosting another event in the community. Family friendly/dog friendly, very busy during the prime summer months, great park and would highly recommend!

Amazing park just outside of downtown. Its a good idea to be aware of the disc golf course that runs through a good portion of the park some holes are blind and a disc thrown at even a small amount of speed could do damage. I believe that the local disc golf group has placed a course map near the water tower.

Tons of parking with a dirt parking lot. Lots of Concrete walking paths, disc golf course and league I think?? I see signs but I don’t partake. There’s a lake with a bridge over it, there’s plenty of fishing spots and ppl will sometimes kayak. There’s 2 nice parks, with benches and one has tables with a gazebo and a bathroom but I’ve never been inside. Sometimes the gate is open for ppl to drive in which I hate cause they’re just driving where ppl walk, it’s so weird but other than that I love this park.

The park is beautiful. The lake is perfect for a private vibe.If you are fishing or walking the road where the dam is please note people must use this road as a short cut. I witnessed 6 vehicles travels at extremely high speeds today. So much so I became concerned for my childs and anyone who is walking along the lakesides safety. Just be aware I guess. Not good.

Not a bad park... Smaller jungle gym for kids, short trails for a stroll, picnic tables and grills. No real kayak launch and the lake is really weedy so kayaking and fishing arent optimal..

Beautiful park. Frisbee golf, grills, two soccer fields trails and a nice lake. The lily pads and lake grass make fishing impossible after April. I suggest going back to the pond if you want to fish during warmer weather. Doesnt seem to be as overgrown. Very nice place to take kids and pets.

I used to love this park so much. Its beautiful. Unfortunately (and Im truly surprised no one has mentioned it because its actually a huge community complaint) you cant relax and just chill and enjoy yourself for a picnic or to sight see because they have disc golf set up in every corner and space. As soon as you settle down to relax, bbq, fish, or just read, you have to move, and this will continue about every 2-3 minutes for the duration of your stay. So unless youre going for disc golf or just plan on walking around along the road that wraps it, its no longer a nice place to go. I understand that disc golfers have rights too, but they do not need the entire friggin park.

First time visiting this park. We went to try the disc golf course. We played the longs. The course had a fairly interesting mix of shots. The course does lack signage (Hint Hole one is near the southside of the bridge). Some signs showing where to go for the next tee, especially for #10, would be very helpful. For hole 10 you have to cross the bridge and walk a fair ways. Signage at each tee would be nice too. Most of the time, we were able to spot the basket or make a fairly good guess of where we needed to throw. I would play this course again. I WOULD recommend googling a course map to help find your way. I did use the restroom while at the park. The one I tried (Im not sure if there are more restroom buildings), all of the stall locks were not functional. The inside looked a little older, but it was clean. All of the playgrounds we saw at the park looked nice.

The park really is a wonderful little spot. I primarily use it for the walking trails. I dont like the areas that have a road and no trails as people drive through fast. The disc golf course there is actually pretty nice. It is fairly rustic in a sense that there are no signs or markers and you have to ask people where the next tee is. However, they have been adding pads and other improvements which is nice to see. Be aware though, frequent car break-ins. Lock up and keep valuables at home.

While it may be confusing for those that have never played it, its definitely a challenge! Long or short tees both offer different obstacles, and challenges.New update, concrete tee off pads are being put in. Though hole 6, they seemed to have messed up the pads! As for following the course itself, the app udisc is really helpful in finding hole 1. After that, you can follow the tape on the basket itself to guide to the next hole.Im sure signage is next in the books.Or we can make our own hole signs.
