A great professional staff and stage crew, good food and drinks, and a great show!

An outstanding place to learn and be entertained. University productions here are universally breathtaking, be it the recent Angels in America, Thoroughly Modern Millie, or Romeo and Juliet. The amount of time and effort that goes into every play and musical shines through in glimmering spectacle. Gilmore is also a beautiful venue for many charity events, dance showcases, and formal occasions. Both classy and practical, the complex boasts several handicap accessibility features and a staff of friendly, effective, professional box office staff.

Great seats no matter where you sit. Small and intimate setting. Parking was easy and the campus is well signed. We saw Jesus Christ Superstar. The student actors are high quality and talented. Worth your while to take in a performance.

Ive been here many times for a variety of shows by the Western Michigan University Department of Theatre. Each time, I am impressed with the caliber of talent exhibited by the student performers. Pick up tickets for one of their shows. You will be glad you did.

Great venue for either plays or musicals. WMU theater department is amazing in their creative staging, props and performances. The students are VERY talented! Always a good time. Weve been attending for many years and are season ticket holders. Great value on season tickets! Dont miss this Kalamazoo gem.

The Gilmore Theatre is a very comfortable place to catch a show. The sound and lighting has been very professional on all of my visits. Cant wait for the next keyboard festival.

Great performances and great performance spaces

The sound quality is good. Plenty of leg room with slight slouching for me. Small venus but the seats are good. Cant see a seat that would be bad in the house.
