Huge beautiful park with gorgeous trails and scenery. Just a peaceful and amazing place to be. Very relaxing. Hike or Bike for miles along the numerous trails or kayak along the Loxahatchee river! Bring your own or rent one! They rent bikes here too! Enjoy the photos I have taken over the years.

Last week I tagged along with kids and grand kids. Went to River Bend Park. The view is AWESOME! In spots the river is narrow and has a canopy of trees overhead. Made for pleasant weather. The current was moving fairly fast, so we ended up bouncing from side to side. Hilarious! In some spots there were vines hanging down to the river, we went through those as well. I love the fact that we could park our truck and put our canoes in the water without paying a fee. What an adventure. I highly recommend making a trip to Riverbend Park.

Hidden treasure! Riverbend Park is one of my favorite destinations for kayaking and biking in Palm Beach County. It’s stunning, vast, and offers is incredible encounters with wildlife. Have seen so many deer, birds, gators and other amazing creatures there over the years. The river is perfect for a day of canoeing or kayaking to disconnect from city life. You can bring your own or rent them on-site with Jupiter outdoor center. $35 for a day on the river is super reasonable. They also offer discounts for Palm Beach residents, so make sure to ask.The park offers many biking, walking or hiking trails and loops. The bathrooms in facilities are well maintained and the park rangers are very nice.Sadly, they do not allow pets on the grounds.

I went on a kayak trip. It was amazing being outdoors kayaking down the river! Never done kayak before and it was a real adventure. If you dont know how to kayak, at least a little bit, I recommend to go with someone who knows. Not gonna lie, it could be dangerous, but its fun!

Beautiful day kayaking, winding through the canopy of Cypress trees, picnicking, and swimming at several points throughout. If it is your first time, remember that there is a current that carries you down, but youll have to paddle against it coming back. Paddling back is easier in a tandem kayak and, if youre renting, come before they sell out. If your only tandem option is a canoe, see if they will give you kayak paddles instead of the canoe paddles.

Had a great first time experience here. Only thing I wished there were water fountains as it was HOOOTTTTT but thankfully we brought some. Also, found it odd that there were no trashcans anywhere BUT there were lots of signs stating why and it was totally understandable. Didnt rent any kayaks or anything-just walked around and it was very enjoyable. Also, all people we encountered were physically distancing so that was a big plus!!

Great Park with tons to do. Bring your bike to ride the trails or just hike them all and enjoy the beauty of the trees and wildlife. Make sure to bring sunscreen and bug spray. Bike and kayak rentals are available. They run out quickly on the weekends so make sure to get there early.Geocaching is also a favorite at this park. Dont forget to check out the really cool old saw mill and ruins that are scattered around. Portable potties are available throughout hiking and biking trails.

This place is beautiful! The staff is super friendly and professional. Ive come here many times over the years and its always a good time. I brought my brother and sister to enjoy the river thinking they would love it too. They werent very experienced with kayaking so they flipped over a couple of times, losing a phone and some expensive glasses. They were frustrated and wanted to leave.Bonnie, being very considerate of our situation, gave us a refund. We were so grateful because I had payed for 2 hours and only lasted 20 min.Another incident was when I left my debit card and glasses in the kayak. One of the workers returned it and made my day as well.I highly recommend this place. Just make sure to be prepared with waterproof equipment otherwise, leave things you dont want wet at your car when kayaking or canoeing. Also the river can be a little tight at times so just make sure you know how to move around a kayak otherwise youll likely end up crashing into some spider webs possibly freaking out and end up in the water lol

This park is filled with history and I love that the Parks and Recreation Department offers so many educational experiences for children. I have attended education days for Pioneer Day and The Battle of the Loxahatchee. Both were well organized and seek to provide hands-on experiences that transport the children back in time. Whether you want to have a picnic, explore the trails by foot/bike, or simply just relax there is something at Riverbend Park for you.

Very pretty small Park that offers, walking trails, gravel trails, biking rentals, kayaks, horses ...bathrooms were clean. Only thing is that runners share the same path as cyclists and you have to be careful.. Im a runner and a cyclists, and Ive encountered hostile runners as well as cyclists.. not all the time ppl coming behind you may call up when theyre approaching you, or when theyre coming towards you, they may not move...best time is early early in the a.m before the crowds get there. For these reasons I prefer, Jonathan Dickinson park

A lot of shady areas, river side rides and Kayak and canoe renting. We rent a couple of canoes and paddle for one one. We had to leave the park because we didnt bring enough water and we got hungry after all the activities. We saw a snake having lunch a mouse, a couple of deer, turtles, different birds. Unfortunately we couldnt see a alligator. Great place, youll love it!!!

We had brought our own paddle board and kayak and launched at the Canoe lunch area. They also have a rental location for kayaks and canoes near the entrance, the large bathroom near the entrance was also very clean. My suggestion is to bring water, watershoes because in some areas you need to get out and I suggest bringing long sleeve short, and a face shield in some shaded areas bugs could get bad and especially towards sunset. The current is going to be strong after it rains,

This is one of the best parks in South Florida. We mainly go for the bike trails, but you can also fish, ans go canoeing and kayaking. If you dont have a canoe, kayak or bike you can rent one for a few hours or for the day. If you are walking or cycling you can partake in the picnic areas. There are plenty to choose from, but only a few will have a portable restroom near them. If you think youll have to use the restroom on your outting, make sure you have your own tissue. Also, if you have a picnic you must take your trash with you for there are no trash bins at the park. There is also plenty of wildlife animals to view in the park, lots of trails and shade. Its a great park for the family to spend the day. Highly recommended.

A very nice park with canoe and bicycle rentals, lots of walking and biking trails, and numerous picnic areas. There are also some trails that are designated for horses, mainly around the edge of the park. The Ocean to Lake Trail goes through on the edge of the park, which is a connecter trail for the Florida National Scenic Trail, connecting to that at Lake Okeechobee and ending at the Ocean. Like a mini Florida Trail, it varies from nice dry trail to wading through the swamp and creeks. The park supposedly closes at sunset but there are a few parking spots at the entrance thadt are outside the gate if you are planning on returning to your vehicle after dark.
