It is a family friendly for all generations. Perfect place get outside.Reminds me of the original Florida. Before 22 million ppl came . Before developing... It survives on donations, so please donate when you go Kudos to Staff, so friendly & will answer all questions..Thank you to Trader Joe’s who donates...oh, it has Florida (almost extinct ) bobcats, panthers & Bears.... Bunch of good folks rehabbing injured/sick wildlife, and educating the rest of us. Great place to visit for everyone but especially for kids. Seeing bears, panthers, eagles, owls, alligators, snakes, turtles, foxes, pelicans, et al, may leave you and the kids breathless, but the most impressive species in the whole place are the human volunteers (and donors) who make it all function smoothly.

Amazing place! This is a wildlife rehab centre but what is even more amazing is that they have a kind of “zoo” sanctuary for animals that can’t be released back into the wild. You can go visit all of the animals for free but there are donation boxes all around to support the sanctuary. In addition to seeing the animals, there are also programs that run every day. You can even watch them released rehabilitated animals back into the wild. The world needs more places like this. Definitely pay this place a visit and support them!

Busch Wildlife Sanctuary in Jupiter, FL is a rescue, rehab, release animal sanctuary. Some animals can’t be released due to injury and often due to humans they cannot be released. Such as the two black bears who are orphans thanks to hunters who killed their mom. Or when people illegally have exotic animals. There are an array of animals here including: Owls, bears, puma, birds, bobcat, Crocodile, turtles, otters, foxes and raccoons. Some of the enclosures felt very small, but this is also a nonprofit sanctuary doing the best they can, so your visitation and donations are helpful!I wish they had up the stories of each animal near their enclosure to help folks understand how they came to be there.

I was very impressed with Busch Wildlife Sanctuary. It is great to see that animals that would not be able to survive in the wild can be given a safe place to live. The grounds were well maintained and shady which is always nice for South Florida summers. All the animals look well taken care of and the pens are very well designed with pools and shade for all the animals. I highly recommend this for everyone.

This sanctuary provided me with an amazing educational experience. I was able to see my first Florida Panther and there was many bald eagles to behold. Most of the animals seemed to be in good health but I noticed some were there to heal from injury before being released. The bald eagle enclosure didnt even have a ceiling so they could leave if they desired. Seems like a legit organization there to help animals in need.

I have been bringing my three year-old grandson to Wednesdays story hour. It is a wonderful experience! Staff loves children and their story time reader is excellent! She Knows how to read a story book to children – holding it where all can see, Reading with expression and very very patient with a little ones. After story time we always visit turtles and every animal, usually having lunch which we bring with us by one of the animal exhibits. Excellent way to teach children. Good way for children to learn how to sit patiently in a group and listen to a story.
