Took our kayaks and canoes and paddled to Trappers Nelson. It was a challenging task but worth it. Can only be visited by means of water transportation. Theres a tourist boat that goes there if you dont want to paddle. Scenic views to get there too.Great picnic area and on weekends and holidays (I think) they offer free tours of the area.
Great adventure ... Adorable boat ride and really interesting piece of Florida historyPut it on your MUST DO list, especially when visitors come to town.
