This was such a gorgeous and beautiful lighthouse. there’s tours available, a little beach area, and the lighthouse has such an amazing view. they’re taking good prevarications for covid as well, which i highly appreciate. a group of people are allowed up at a time, and they let us stay there for a while to enjoy the view. the climb was pretty high, but completely worth it. it’s a really peaceful and relaxing place to go to, it has really cool areas to walk around and the gift shop has lots of cute selections and souvenirs. the staff there was pretty kind as well. i’d definitely love to come back here again, it’s worth it.

Beautiful views on a nice day. The grounds around the lighthouse are small but nicely kept up. The big tree near the lighthouse is amazing. The museum is also small, but informative and good for the history aspect.Overall good value for the $12 adult fee.Not crowded Wednesday February.Spend about 1-2 hours there.Staff is overprotective for safety reasons, but friendly enough. 48 minimum height minimum. The grounds below the lighthouse are not worth the entrance fee alone, so make sure you are physically fit enough for the 105+30 steps.Do not want expect this to be one of the 7 wonders of the world, but it is enjoyable for a quick afternoon activity.

Great place to visit. The site is at the confluence of the Loxahatchee and Indian rivers in Jupiter. The lighthouse allows visitors who are allowed to climb to the top to get a commanding view of the entire region. Originally plans to build as early as 1853, very rare for something to have been built before 1900 in FL.

Talk about a piece of history! The museum had lots to share about the history of Station J. The staff was fun, and great with kids. They had lots of interesting info to share as well. The lighthouse was a 105 step piece of interesting. But nothing could beat the views once you were up there. Completely breath-taking and more than worth the climb. Gorgeous Ficus tree by the quarters where the lighthouse keeper, his two assistants, and their families stayed. Parking is easy and plentiful. If youre in the area, go learn something interesting about Jupiters role in WWII.

There are really two very different places here the museum and the lighthouseI would like to give five stars to the Lighthouse itself, and one or two stars to the staff. The view from the top of the lighthouse is second to none its really enjoyable its worth the $10 to go up.Museum is really neat, it has some really need history about the Jupiter area. Some really decent displays, and a great beat right out in front of it thats worth just sitting out on there and enjoying the view.

So much history here and thankfully its being preserved. For $13 you can go to the top for breathtaking Views, and I believe Its well worth it. Run by almost all volunteers who are extremely knowledgeable about the lighthouse and history of the local area. Just be aware its 105 steps to the top, so it may not be for everyone, but if youre in good shape it shouldnt be a problem.

I have been to Jupiter quite a few times but this is the first time I visit the signature symbol of Jupiter. The surrounding area/park is beautiful, and ticket to the lighthouse can be purchased at the gift shop which has a lot of cute souvenirs to bring home! The lighthouse has about 100-ish inclined stairs, each 25 stairs has a small rest area for you to rest and look over the view before continuing. Its a good exercise and once you get on top of it, the lighthouse looks over an amazing view, fresh air and breezy for hot sunny day. After that you can cool down in the museums (there is one museum on the left side after you get down from the lighthouse, one on the way going out to the gift shop and one next to the gift shop). Employees are very friendly and helpful as well.

There is a lot of history displayed here not just for the Pioneers that maned the lighthouse but also for the Indians that lived here previously. It is Well laid out and theres a number of exhibits that give you a feel as to how it was to live during those early days in Florida. It wasnt easy and particularly for the women I would think challenging to say the least. If you have any difficulty walking I would suggest that you not try to walk to the lighthouse and there is a bit of a incline. Once you climb to the lighthouse youre not able to immediately go inside because of the narrow stairs. they have to limit how many people can go in so there may be a wait.

The lighthouse and its grounds are beautifully restored and maintained and the volunteers are great. They are very happy to tell you the story of the lighthouse and the grounds. There is a volunteer up top to answer all of your questions. It was my privilege to work on restoring this lighthouse back in the 90s so I was really happy to see it again. That 140 steps to the top seemed further now than they did then, but thats ok. Give it a shot, its worth your time. Also, get the key lime fudge from the gift shop, its off the chain!

I visited with my family today... and my little guy got stuck 3/4 of the way up the lighthouse. He was too tired to make it the top and too scared to walk down. Amanda, the woman who checked us in at the gift shop, came to our rescue. She worked her magic and walked him down the 70 steps to the bottom. She also gave him a little surprise from the gift shop to keep him from being too embarrassed about the situation. She really made the entire day. Thanks, Amanda.

Most interesting site to visit, and in addition to pausing to witness Americas great history, you get the treat of a great 360 view. What more could you ask for? Go for you, and teach your kids how easy they have it compared to others in our past. Slight wait to go up as limited people are allowed, but brief. Dont miss the optics of the actual light mechanism. Too interesting...
