This place is the most affordable of the Joplin pools. It is only $3 for adults and on Thursday from 1-3 its free swim time, but the door closes when capacity hits 400, so be prepared to possibly go to another pool and pay. This place has it all. If your child can swim a little and without flotation device, the parent can catch in pool. The big slide is 48 inch requirement. They have lily pads, animals to crawl on, and a waterfall and slide for toddlers (my kids still love it).

Fun little skatepark, pool is nice when its in season and open. Has a trail for walking/riding. Also has a tennis court and a few gazebos

Fairly nice play equipment for children and restrooms decent.Drawback was people sleeping(living) under the shelter. I am sorry things are hard for them now, but a little unsettling to have around the children.

The skate park is fabulous. The park on the other hand is over run with homeless drug addicts that live there 24/7. DO NOT TAKE YIUR CHILDREN TO EVERT PARK there are syringes in the grass and the water!

Nice park and outdoor activities. Water park is fun for the family. Only $4 per adult, our toddler got in free.

Dirty park. There is a homeless camp there now that the waterpark is closed. We did not feel safe at the playground with our young children.

I love this pool, not too crowded, havent ran into any unfriendly people YET, and the kids enjoy all the slides, and other pool toys they have there also. Its great for the little and bigger kids. Also for the adults. The umbrella area is great to sit under while watching the little ones play in the shallow end.

The kids loved the swimming park had lots of fun! I came here as a young adult and loved it as well! Slides, playzone, concession stand, deep end. Something for everyone.

The pool was great. I work for Skills Unlimited which is home health. I took a client there for a birthday party and she needed the handi cap chair to lift her out of the water. Long story short, at the end, there was 5 or 6 employees around that chair getting her out of the water due to the chair malfunctioning. Very very kind staff, clean and super fun. Thanks!

The playground area was flooded, poor drainage. While we were there a couple were fighting over money for drugs.On a positive note, the Police response was quick and courteous.

It’s just a decent sized park right off 7th Street. It has a playground,tennis courts a skate park a couple covered areas with tables for a small to large gathering, restrooms . A large lawn for frisbee, kite flying or just laying around. I stop by from time to time just to stretch my legs & let Chip run around, he usually takes a swim when I bring him then I let him lay around & dry off.I’m not sure what the rules for animals are so I try to stop on less crowded days.

The most wonderful place to take your kids so they can learn-to-skate, scooter and bike there usually is a whole bunch of teenagers around there riding their skateboards but they seem to acknowledge theres little kids there as well and they watch out for them. and seem to like to teach the children a few tricks well most of them some you get that are Moody and theyre really bratty but usually talking to them will take care of any problems.

Needed grass cut the lifeguards at pool very informative some an others didnt want to hold conversation.

Nice layout. Has plenty of room for both skaters, BMX riders, and scooter-kids. I wouldnt recommend bringing small children here, however.

Attended Emancipation Park Days. Great music, food, car show.

No longer a great place as city workers have become horrifically rude lately. Power was turned off so devices cant be charged. Dont go there unless you 100% have no other choice.

The mens restroom was a total mess humen waste and tolietpaper filled the stool and all over the stool ! the city of Joplin needs to keep a eye on the up keep of the restrooms!!!! I can only emagen how the wemon s restroom was !!!! Other than this the park was mowed and the trash was in the the trash cans there was a church group (s o s menestries) feed there there was a fue people there smoking and using the {F) word which I though was Improper at a church function!!!!!

Nice complex. Picnic tables, nice family swimming pool. My daughter is taking swimming lessons at the pool.

We had a great time playing here with our kids. Some weird young adults were hanging out on the playground equipment but their girlfriends kept their cursing down yo a minimum which was funny because my wife does the same with me.

My son loves this place lots of good fun things for the kids to play with in the pool just love it...

Always a great Park. The city takes care of all the parks and proper lighting for tennis and basketball and skaters along with Police patrol makes them safe for our kids.

I love Ewert Park. Its WAY OPEN ad far as Park size. Ive never ran into any law enforcement,( jus cause my dogs being off leash sometime) an the size of the Park includes BASKETBALL COURTS, TENNIS COURTS, VOLLEYBALL COURTS. There is a giant walking track around the whole PARK an some bathrooms an trash cans an some parking available. Baseball an softball fields avaliable too.... Overall good place to have a family outting. Some of the shelters have picnic tables an bbq grìlls.

I go there for work every week and there is usually some homeless people sleeping in the park or talking on the park benches. The only time I have seen other people in the park is when the pool opens then people go there.

It is a nice Aquatic Center that are open till 6 p.m. and they have free swim on Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m.

I like the pool at Ewert Park but it is seriously Hoboville. I had homeless people coming up to me asking me for cigarettes and stuff and Im like, nope i dont smoke and i dont like you yelling at me about whoever Anna is neither.
