Just dont. Youll be lucky if anyone comes to take your order unless youre lucky enough if the girl with the green hair and the beautiful personality tends to you. The rest tend to I guess nothing inside and dont really even think about coming near you. This is my fifth visit that made me write the review. Just go to the other beer place down the street

Had a great time with friends. I love this place and it was really cool. Good service and great selection of beer and delicious food. The staff was kind and passionate. I would highly recommend to everyone.

PROS: This place was as cool as I expected it to be. Games all around and of different genres too. They had many drinks, food available, and the games were cheap.CONS: They only had 3 one person bathrooms which always created a line. The bartenders werent the friendliest and the there was not enough room to walk around in. Most of the games were knock offs as well. You had some original games like Donkey Kong, Pong, Galaga but 85% of the consoles I saw were similar to original games but changed up.OVERALL: The reason for why I gave it a good rating despite more cons is because its a unique bar that you wont find anywhere else in the state that I enjoyed going to. I may not be back, but if you havent gone yet I would try it out.

It’s always good vibes here. Classic Arcade games, pretty good beer selection and polite waiters/waitresses along with good service. Nonetheless their kitchen does lack at consistency with flavor. What makes a great restaurant is knowing you are going to get the same great flavor you’re familiar with every single time you patron that business. So you should expect a good time here by yourself or with a group but there may be times where the food is delicious and on some nights sub par.

I love craft beer so I really appreciate their selection. They carry beers from some great independent brewers so try as many as you can! Their games are pretty cheap and its always exciting to get a new high score.

Great old school arcade games lots of fun. Waitress was nice Drinks are cheap. But stay away from the food. It was horrible.

Music is typically a little loud, but the options for craft beer are usually way stronger than usual. Its a shame that theres more pinball machines than arcade machines but..

I am a huge fan of Barcades, especially the concept of combining a cozy bar and arcade gaming center is just perfect. They feature more than a few vintage arcade games like Daytona USA, Pinball, Mortal Combat, pacman, etc. This Barcade has great ambience - there is even some outdoor seating to soak up the summer sun as well. They have good choice of draft beers - feature a few local ones and some nice cocktails. I have been to a few of their locations and the experience is always fun.Recently visited them with a group of friends. We had first tried some good food, went for a bunch of sharable plates like Nachos, Garlic Bread and some Quesadilla. The food was pretty good - served with generous portion sizes at reasonable pricing, the menu was decently vegetarian/vegan friendly and the service was warm. However, found that there could have been a few more vegan/vegetarian friendly options as found in some of their other locations.Recommendations:Food: Bean Quesadilla and NachosGames:Daytona USA - must try in multiplayer versionPacman and some Pinball tooI would highly recommend this place to spend a fun evening with a group of friends having some nice time eating good food, some booze and play some of those classic arcade games.

I liked the place except it doesnt really have any up to date arcade games. Theres alot of pinball machines. This could be there approach though. It would be more fun if they had like a basketball game where you shoot and can play against someone.

How can you possibly beat classic arcade games and craft beer? Probably as epic of a duo as PB&J as well as movies and popcorn. The atmosphere is cozy, yet energizing. Cant say there is much to improve on there to be honest.

Great fun place if for beer, video games and pinball.One star lost as the unisex toilets were grim, they were clean but its a pain when men leave the seat up and leave splashes, you just dont get that in a ladies toilet #firstworldproblems.

Fun time. One of the bartenders was a little grumpy so I took a star away. Also the webpage says most games are 1 token. Not true. It’s mostly 2. Still very fun. 5 drinks (not all for me) was 45$ with tip.Still very fun and I felt it was worth it. My wife, brother in law and I spent only 10$ on games and had our fill of fun.

While I didnt hang around long enough to participate in the arcade aspect of Barcade, I certainly appreciated the bar part. Excellent selection of (mostly) local craft beers. Seems to be something for any taste in beer.

I quit drinking over a year ago so don’t listen to me but this place was great that one time I think I was there. I seem to remember games and not playing many of them. I definitely had beers but I feel like I brought them in somehow. Oh and whiskey. Hmmmm the staff was totally amicable, it was a little warm in there though.

Tons of fun! And the food there is pretty awesome...tons of vegan friendly options surprisingly. The crowd is easy going and drinks are quick. All around a good time..parking is scarce but thats Jersey City for you.

They had a large variety of old school arcade games. Also the wide variety of beer made it possible to try different types. They tend to change they from time to time. The food here are definitely worth a shot to try. The fries are my favorite, nice and crunchy and not overly done. The people here are very friendly but they do tend to stay within their own groups.

Last time i visited here on weekend with my friends and we had lot fun here. The place was really amazing and the atmosphere was cool and full of crowd. The drinks were brilliant with wide variety of choices. The music was superb. According to me its the best place for hangout.

Last Friday I was there and it was crazy. The atmosphere was so cool. Everyone was in the mood. We had a lot of drinks for a really good price. The music is awesome and there are a lot of people so for sure there is going to be party next Friday again. The staff is on point and very friendly.

Pinball! The honor of first bringing pinball to downtown Jersey City goes to the Pet Shop Bar. But now Barcade too has seen the light and upgraded some of their video games to pinball machines. And they went full in with no less than 5 great machines. As of writing, theres Star Trek, Addams Family, Champion Pub, Back to the Future, and, my favorite, Whirlwind.

Super fun and diverse place. The arcade games are awesome and the drinks are phenomenal! Visiting again soon and so should you!

Great ambiance and drinks! I went when there was happy hour (prices are decent). The environment has a speak easy type of feel to it, which I always think is pretty cool.

Relaxed yet fun atmosphere. Plenty of arcade games, classic & new. Food was tasty; had the nachos & BBQ Pork sliders. Drinks were not watered down. Great place for casual fun date. Or meeting up with friends. Cool neighborhood to chill.

Such a fun and trendy place!! Where else can you drink great tasting beers and play a wide array of old school videogames and pinball?! The food was very nice and prepared freshly as well! The staff were very friendly and gave good suggestions on beers and cocktails!

Obviously the premise is great, beer and arcade games. They have all the standards but nothing too wild. Its cool, but comparing to some other bars with similar concepts like 1-up its not as good.

This is exactly what you want it to be when you hear the name: Your childhood arcade inside of a large, open air bar. There are numerous types of games, from packman and centipede, to street fighter and donkey kong. The games do rotate, so no guarantee a game will still be there if you go back after a few weeks. Tokens/coins can be bought right in the bar, and there are plenty of multiplayer games as well. A good time for anyone who even remotely likes arcade games, as it has a ton of variety. There are also plenty of tables and seats for those who just want to watch. Recommend checking it out.

If youre looking to enjoy some retro games with some friends over some good food and drinks this is the place to be. This place works on a token system where you can exchange cash at a machine for tokens to be used on the games. The games themselves offer a super wide selection with single and multiplayer options. I had a blast here and was only there for an hour or so. Definitely recommend if youre in town and looking for something a little different when it comes to a bar experience.

Went here on 1/19/20 to celebrate my birthday and had an amazing time. Went with a party of 4 and 2 ppl I went with ordered the quesadillas and for some reason it had cinnamon in it and they didnt like it. So they took it back to the bar to have it replaced and boy did they go over and beyond to please us. They removed it off our bill and replaced it for free. Not only that but they man at the bar I forget his name because I was drinking (white guy with a beard and glasses) was very welcoming and apologized multiple times and made us feel welcomed. I will highly recommend this place...its not about being perfect but about making the customer feel welcomed and appreciated. Service was great...vibe was great and the guacamole was banging. Brought back memories with all the old school arcade games from pacman,mortal kombat,nba James, and marvel vs capcom to name a few. Amazing place and will definitely be back soon.

So thankful for Dave & Busters. This bar only allows kids on “certain” days. Horrible! Why are there kid arcade games, but kids are not allowed? The food is basic, beers basic and the wine selection needs help. This is not a family place, but a place for college students and people with no children! Never going back there, waste of money & time!

Great place to remember your youth time playing arcades and early consoles games!A lot of arcade machines makes it easy to come here again and again.Loved to play original TETЯIS, TMNT, Mortal Kombat, and others.It is not usually crowded in the middle of the day so you can easily take a lunch to come here. Keep in mind it is not much to eat here so do it before.Though there is a bar inside so you do not need to bring your own drinks.
