Its all very well done. Interesting items everywhere you turn and the curators had answers for just about every question.In all fairness, I brought a group a elementary school students to the museum. :)

It was very clean, and had really interesting facts and displays. I would most defiantly go again.

I worked with the MONG for 30 years with last 5 at ISTS so it was a joy to bring my grandsons there and talk nemories with the assistant director. I actually rode in one of the helicopters with the pilot named on the door... Boys loved all of the aircraft and tank displays. Highly recommended.

Great displays and enjoyed being able to see the planes and equipment up close.

Free and fun, some interesting exhibits.

If you are at all interested in Missouri history or military history, you must go here. The museum has a lot in a smaller space, and they are continually adding to their collection. Nice staff! Just about ten minutes from downtown Jefferson City. The building is part of a complex of federal buildings, so they may check your ID at the gate. Takes about one minute.

Went today and it was a great experience. The man who ran the it was actually on the floor. Not up hiding away. On the floor sharing stories about the collections and history. The tank collection is a lot of fun for the kids and the plane you get to walk through. It makes you appreciate those who have faught for our freedom.

I actually didn’t go to the museum. I went to the ID office next door and my experience was amazing. Normally the ID office on base takes forever. This one was in and out and no appointment

This was a very educational and enjoyable experience. The staff was very informative.

Plenty of historical mementos of past and future Missourians in the military who have contributed and some laid their lives for the nation. Small museum but very nicely laid out with nice displays inside and outside of the museum. Come and check it out!

One of the better free museums Ive been to. Gives a great, quick overview of military history with some cool exhibits.

Educational and Interesting Displays

Really enjoyed it, though most of it is of an interest level above 6yo kids. The outside displays are pretty good, too, especially for photos with kids. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Was a great place to learn of are Missouri National Gaurd and their enrollment in the wars and disaster relief the gentleman running it gave us alot of insight a little tricky to find behind a chain link fence next to the Missouri National Guard base. Worth the stoo

They did a background check so one of us couldnt go in so none of us went. They dont tell you that on the website.

If you like military history, or history in general, this place is a must. A little off the beaten path, but worth the effort to get there. The exhibits are nicely presented, and there are lots of vehicles and aircraft outside. Interesting and educational.

This is a great local museum with very passionate and helpful staff.First, driving in is kind of like Dorothy trying to see the Wizard. You dont need red shoes but you do need an appointment to get past the guard gate! The museum is located on Missouri National Guard property.The museum is somewhat small but makes up for that with personal stories of the Missouri soldiers from the militia to recent times.We took a Boy Scout group of several hundred kids there as part of a trip to Jefferson City. The staff were very accommodating and provided very personal attention the whole time. They even extended the hours just for our group!If your family appreciates the National Guard, you must go!

Full of wonderful informative displays. You could spend a good 2 hours in here reading all the stuff.

It is very interesting to see the old uniforms and equipment used, old vehicles, airplanes, fighter jets etc. Good source of national guard and military history.

Lots of military artifacts, planes, tanks, helicopters, etc. Worth a visit!

Its nice but its kinda quiet and sometimes you feel a little uneasy and that you dont have a lot of privacy...Otherwise than that its fine.
