Very nice! The only down is that behind that beautiful nature path, you can see beer bottles and trash...you can see the city is working hard in making it better. It is just a matter of people respecting the area and helping to clean it up... at the end of the day all of it is for all of us

Dog park is nice and shady, itll be even better when they put in the water but you can get some up front at the playground. Great job!

New dog park is great! The small dog area is a little small. There were quite a few ant mounds in the small dog park too The park overall is a pigsty which is more of a reflection of the inconsiderate people who use the park than it is of the park itself.

This park isnt the biggest in Jax but there is a lot to do here. There are 2 baseball fields, a basketball court with 4 rims, 2 tennis courts and a small water park. There are also a few picnic benches, a few slides and swings. Although there are bathrooms they are closed as of September 20

Fairly well kept up, including bathrooms,speaking of bathrooms...for them to b locked today (Sun.,June14,2020) was ridiculous...who has a public park for families etc. & NOT HAVE A BATHROOM? should b against the law...Theres not going to b an outbreak if 1 person uses a much needed bathroom!!!

We went to the dog park today... It was not marked at all and someone had to tell us where it was. Once inside, as far as an area to run, dogs can run. Other than that, there was no water fountains and people are already not cleaning up after their dogs.

Cute park. Lots of things for the kids to play with, including a horizontal tire swing and a water play area. A large soccer field connected by a wooden walkway within walking distance. And a variety of courts for different sports.

Quiet park that is for little toddlers. Its never crowded and always pretty clean. It also has a water splash pad area for kids in the summer.

The playground is kinda small. The other amenities seemed ok, but we went there specifically for the playground. Also, there were spider webs all over literally everything, all 3 slides full of webs, the metal Jeep thing, elephant, tire swing & ropes (I understand its FL & theres spiders, but Ive had blood poisoning from a spider bite) Just be careful if no one else is playing, check for webs 1st, maybe its not a popular playground and that could cause spiders to make homes.

Nice park. It has a tire swing, small water park, soccer and baseball fields, tennis and basketball courts, and bathrooms. It is a little run down, but still a good place for kids.

The funniest free waterpark on the southside my kids enjoyed it. Always clean

My granddaughter and I love this place. She and I both cry when its time to leave...She never wants to leave and Im so exhausted I cant stay another minute!

This is a great park and now includes a water area for children to enjoy and have fun with. The park also includes a childrens play area, tennis court, 2 basketball hoops, baseball/softball field as well as a soccer field. Overall this is a great place to get in some recreation time and allow your kids to unwind (if you have any).

Abess Park is what youd expect to experience in a Jacksonville park. A small play structure and swings. Theres a few things that put it above others. (1) A tire swing, (2) a play keep (totally stationary, but for imaginary jungle safaris), and best for last (3) a splash pad. Its not too big but full of fun. Theres a limit of 10 kids at a time...but Im not sure how it is enforced. We went today (early October) and it was still going...which is smart in hot Florida weather.The splash pad is separate from the park by just enough that you can go to one without the other.

This park now has a nice splash pad next to the playground, although my 2 year old was a little afraid of the tipping bucket of water.

The new water feature looks great for warm days.

Abess Park is surrounded by fencing to help keep little kids safer. There are a number of different playground equipment pieces there. There is a public restroom, tennis courts, baseball field, basketball court, and its connected to the soccer field. There is a parking lot in back of it. My kids had a good time playing there. It was easy to keep an eye on multiple kids there.

Excellent park that is well fenced in. Great layout for football or soccer games with friends. The park is well maintained and gets very busy on weekends. The basketball courts stay full so go early to secure a hoop. Great playground for kids with rest rooms available.

Cutest splash pad! Bathrooms nearby. No chairs near pad so come prepared. No shade either.... so keep that in mind

This is a great little park to play some basketball, Tennis, or softball at. I wish that it had lights for after hours activities, but its good when youve got sunlight.

My grandbabies love the place not too crowded.

Only two tennis courts but its pretty clean and feels safe, why there arent any tennis courts at Edward Austin is a little weird, its so much bigger of a park.
