Definitely five stars for this park its not the biggest and it does not have the most activities out of many of the parks in Jacksonville but, it is fairly clean or at least well maintained. There will be litter from time to time after soccer or baseball games, but it is usually picked up by the next day.I absolutely love this park! It has a good size and some very decent walking trails. Theres lots and lots of space at this park! Theres usually lots of friendly people there as well. Highly recommend ringhaver

Great place to take the family. There is no shortage of ball fields, whether you are looking to play baseball, softball, soccer or are just looking for a field run around in and have fun. There are a couple of playgrounds, including a larger one all the way in the back. It has a pavillion, restrooms, and picnic tables. The Ortega Stream Valley Trail is behind it and winds its way over several miles of wooded canopy, marsh, and the shoreline of the Ortega River.

Its a good spot for the kids to play and also have a birthday party. They just need to add a water sprinkler system so the kids can get wet in that hot area.

Its a spacious park that we used to frequent when I was a child. I went back with my own and was so disappointed in the condition of the park. The sidewalk is really high compared to the ground. Does not appear like theyve laid down new mulch in a long time. Grass was growing really high and the playground area. Lots of standing water and in some places broken equipment. Please give the park the TLC it needs.

Its a great size for a park, lots of different slides and park things for children, but it needs a good revamp, its a lil dirty, and needs some fresh grass laid. Check out the pics I took.And remember, if my review helped u make a better decision,  then give it a like. Thank u.

Has a nice mile jogging way and more trails and a bathroom is there to use in the back at the park at any time has a tennis yard and baseball feild

Lots of playground space which is really nice. But it looks so worn down and dirty.The trail is nice, farther than what I expected. But enjoyed it. The bridge to access the water is closed.

That yenis court had some bigass crickets on it but it was quite and relaxing for the most part

This park is amazing, there are multiple playgrounds here and a place to throw parties at to. In the back there is a closed off boat ramp that was a ton of fun to explore, Im assuming the hurricane got to it because it is missing boards and has a lot of graffiti all the way where you launch the boats off. There is also many trails to explore and a bit of wildlife to see as well as plants. My only problem with this park is all the trash scattered through it. If it got cleaned up and was maintained this would be an easy 5*.

Pretty decent park. Soccer fields are pretty good and they have small goals for 6v6 games. Well lit at night, just a little tough getting there through back roads

Place is dirty and the walking trail is not maintained so filled with debree and bugs everywhere

Beautiful park! The trail was amazing and so interesting. So happy we found this place and cant wait to visit again.

Big park, great scenery!

Pretty cool trails but the dock to get to the tributary was blocked off and was the whole reason we walked the trail.

Very large park with sports fields, playground, restrooms, and trails. The trail starts at the back of the park at a gazebo like structure. There are restrooms available but strongly suggest taking hand sanitizer. During the cooler months theres hardly any bugs but come summertime, bring bug spray!

Keep an eye on your kids. Park needs some maintenance and cleanup.

Was a 5 star park. They need to realy clean the back covered area. I raised 6 kids and all their birthdays, plus all my cousins kids birthdays. This was the worse it has ever looked. Looks like they left it for the local alcoholics and tweekers.

I absolutely love this part from the small park in the front with a big soccer field to the large park in the back to the long nature trails in the far back that lead to fishing areas!! Definitely a great place to bring the kids and even have small family functions!

Pretty & peaceful nature walk. Several parks according to age. Fun for the entire family. Also nice and big to bicycle through.

Was here with our granddaughters soccer team (I think). They won. It was hot. Now I know about other parts in case we return sometime.

I love this trail! It is completely paved and it is easy for me to take my stroller on it. My only disappointment is there is a dock that is no longer open to the public.

Its great! My little sister loved the playground and my dogs had lots of fun in the field!Id highly recommend coming here with your dogs and kids

Play ground and baseball diamond. Plenty of parked. Nice paved trail with plenty of shade. Benches located on the path to rest. I think walk is a long one if you are carrying a kayak. I recommend something with wheel.

Trash everywhere and the equipment is old and rusty.

Today was my granddaughters fourth birthday and we took her out for lunch. She said she wanted to slide so i asked Google for a listing of nearby parks. It brought up this park, not too far from where we were eating so we decided to see how it looked. The park is beautiful, clean, and has lots things for children to do. The play area is fenced and is patrolled regularly. I give it 5 stars because it is a jewel. We had a wonderful time.

I love the outside havent been to the inside of the apartment yet but I plan after December

Great park, super clean and really big! Theres a space here for anyone and everyone who likes outdoorsy fun. The trailz are awesome for walking, biking riding and dog walking too. Honestly its one of the best parks in Jacksonville.

The old Ringhaver was so much better.

Well we had my grandson and his best friend first communion luncheon with family and friends. But it was totally flooded and a raccoon tried to visit. Fix up the playground area better and taller fences you will have the greatest park ever. Sincerely

We love Ringhaver kids grew up here now a new little one but reason for low rating is the park toys need repair. Broken swings and slides. Some of them dangerous for children . Now this was a year ago so if it has been fixed, I will update my rating after we visit later this week as planning a birthday party again. Also PEOPLE DONT KNOW THAT THE TABLES ARE RESERVED AND PAID FOR. AND THEY MUST MOVE IF THEY HAVE TAKEN A TABLE WITHOUT RESERVING IT AND SOMEONE ARRIVES TO HAVE A PARTY THAT HAS PAID FOR THE SPACE. Why is there no reserved signs posted on the party tables when they have been booked?

Nice park the grounds keeper keeps it maintained very well lots if wildlife on the trail there are a few places to fish its has a nice sized field for recreational activities it has public bathrooms theres 2 sides of the pavilion with at least 10 picnic tables on each side there are multiple playgrounds for the little ones to use

It is old and needs some TLC but is a family favorite still with plenty of safe slides and jungle gyms. A dragon and knight photo board and dinosaur stairs. Plenty of swings and some fun race cars

I take my BMW here for everything! The service is outstanding and prices are very reasonable. Wouldnt take any of my cars any where else.

I really like this place. Very friendly staff there. Big clean and very relaxing spot to fish and just hang out and drink a beverage.

Great quiet for You & Your Kids!!

Not a lot to do out here but they do have a great little trail system and a little pier but from what I hear from one of the marine biologist that was out there doing some work, the drop off the sides of the pier are only 5 to 7 ft give or take so good luck with that type of fishing out there. your best bet is to have a small vessel to go out a few ways and dont forget your life jackets safety is everything, they were doing some Renovations & I believe theyre going to have a little side where you can take a little boat or raft off from there... itll be wheelchair accessible

Very clean great neighborhood very safe. Great family park. Lots of ball fields, trails two different playgrounds. Soccer, softball and baseball leagues. Snack bar.

It has great trails for either walking or riding your bike.Also it has baseball and soccer field .A fenced in area for playing tennis isalso available.The elevated deck to the kayak pier to the Ortega River is still off limits dueto the hurricane damages to the deck and pier.

We love this park, very well maintained. Take a relaxing walk and see the wildlife.

It is a great park. Has trail to River or Creek. They have soccer fields, softball fields, tennis courts, and multiple kids play areas.

A very good place to play with the kids.

We used the paved rec trail this morning. The trash cans near the parking lot were tipped over and garbage was everywhere, no lids on the cans so hard to say if it was caused by humans or wildlife. The trail was nice and shaded, we saw two gopher tortoises along the way and a few cyclists taking advantage of the shaded path for some exercise. Also, quite a bit of graffiti. The park would receive more stars if it was maintained better.

The playground was great! however, the bathrooms could have used a really good cleaning and a coat of paint.

Great park with a playground. Only downside was the restrooms were closed and not accessible.

This park is a wonderful place to take a stroll. They have 6 soccer fields in the front of the park. Past those you can find the kids park, softball fields, tennis courts and nature trail. The nature trail has two stages. The first stage of the trail is a loop that has a canoe launch. The second loop is more advanced. It goes deeper into the woods and has tougher terrain to challenge those who are up for it.

Quiet place to take a walk. Wish the city would post a map of the trails and distances.

Public parks should always try to work on their bathrooms but the park itself is awesome. A few things were broken but the park is so big my kids had a blast anyway.Awesome location for a birthday party or baby shower. Covered seating too. Ive been coming here my whole life, it was always a treat. :)

Its very clean. It has a couple of playgrounds, lots of sports fields, and walking/biking trails.

Children play area need alot of TLC. The playground in the very back was full of alot of standing water from the rain. And the playground in the front has alot of wear and tear on the play equipment.

Unfortunately the path to the dock ramp was chained off due to atrocious littering of beer and soda bottles. Other than that, there’s a paved path that circles around and other paths throughout the woods.
