This is the place that caters to older patrons..music are mixed..from oldies..country..and modern..they have a spacious dance floor and the kitchen is opened late to get a bite..the drinks are reasonable ..except I had a bad encounter with the security that confronted me and harassed me when I make sure that Im taking care of the bartenders and have acquaintances and friends and was also buying drinks for friends..for some reason this security have single me out though I never started any fight..so I have to tell my friends to be aware of this person..all I do in this place is to socialized and drink and dancing is more of an indoor exercise..

80s and 90s music..very upbeat music. Been here a few times.

Some cocktails are poorly made. None of the food is fresh, all frozen. It’s name suggest that they play older music, they don’t. Waitress can be slow.

The bartenders and waitresses are very nice. Drinks are reasonably priced. The DJ is really bad. He was really rude to other patrons (not us-but we overheard), and the music was bad. Won’t go back.

Best dance floor, great staff, Johnny the bartender is awesome and they have brought back live music. Lots of variety. Only downfall is it is a smoking venue however not as bad as in the past. Also it’s a casual atmosphere and the rule of not allowing ball caps inside but all other hats and smoking allowed doesn’t make sense. It’s a sports bar and dance club with inexpensive but good food menu. Loyal Customers who have been coming for years and wear ball caps haven’t returned because of the new dress code no ball caps which only applies to men but they say nothing about pants hanging off the waist and white T-shirts. A hat is a hat but the behavior of a customer is what should be considered. You are judging a person by what they wear. What about tattoos or women wearing dresses way inappropriate but that’s allowed. I believe after visiting many classy venues which do allow hats of all kinds, bikers, beach goers, etc. there would be more business and return of past loyal customers.

Manager doesnt know how to run a business. Fired a great karaoke host then didnt want to pay what was agreed upon. Never will step foot in there again.

Worst drinks in town. Bartenders are rude and nasty. Will never spend another dime there and wouldnt recommend it to anyone!

From an entertainment perspective, the place is solid, okay entertainment. But bring cash. The night I went, the ATM was broken and the bar manager had no backup plan. No need to go back, but definitely the right fit for a certain crowd.

Its a great place to have innocent fun.

I have never been here and have only lived in Fla a week. Is this place pretty safe as I dont like stupid. I need a place I can go to where I can actually sit listen to music and have a few beers.

Music is much better than it used to be. Needs to be a little brighter. But was a fun time

Web site says open 5 pm - 2 am ? ? ? Im in the parking lot at 7 pm.... CLOSED. My wife is CHAPPED ! ! ! No dancing.

This place could careless about the customers that have been going there for years...It is outdated and dirty, Their are much nicer dance clubs that cater to the 40 and older crowd.Dont waste your time or money here...

I wish that we could pictures as we leave good or bad comments of our thoughts. I had been to this place numerous of times also visit the branding location. But 1/16/16 me and my husband visited the Atlantic Blvd location we was running a tab with the bartender close to the entrance I ordered a jagerbomb the first 2 seem to have more red bull than jager so my husband said lets try the other bartender witch is the bar near the restrooms I said no because we already have a tab with the bartender near the entrance my husband pulled out money to pay cash with bartender near bathroom to see if Ill like his drink better the male bartender charged $10.50 for a jagerbomb I was shocked because we had been charged on $7 and change with bartender we had open tab with . we asked a waitress why did he charge so much for the jagerbomb mind u its very small and taste lick u no wat the waitress told us that when the male bartender is not making tips hill try and charge more for drinks after that I told my husband we will keep going to 57 heaven on blanding . we always tip well wherever we go. But being dishonest and trying to take advantage of people is not good in book.

Jacksonvilles Premiere Oldies Club. OK, did you hear me? Old clientele, old sound system, old everything. Alright, I understand theres a need for places like this, but if you are expecting some upscale experience and you are under the age of 50 and you value your hearing, dont go here. The bartenders are very nice however, but this is NOT the place to go people watch. This aint exactly where the beautiful people of Jax hang out, I think this is where the DNA deficients go to die. My GF and I got conned into going here and had been inside for 2 minutes after paying a $10 cover and she said Take me out of here....now! Not in the best part of town either, definitely the other side of the tracks. BTW, the music is too loud and the sound is distorted. I guess thats designed to keep people from talking about Skakespeare and Chaucer and all them. haw haw
