I was looking for archery lessons for my teenage daughter. Inquired about lessons here and we started lessons with Flo and her husband Russ. They are great with the kids. Reasonably priced and my daughter now has a new favorite hobby. Shaded, but bring long pants and bug spray. But that is archery at its best. The kids are starting on traditional bows to work on their form but they do allow compound.

If you love spending time with your family and being outdoors you should consider archery. This is an archery club where for a nominal monthly/annual fee you can have access to 30+ lanes with 3D targets. Stop by the on-site shop and see what bow would be best match for you. A great after school activity for kids and classes are available.

This is a cool hidden gem that I didnt know existed until recently. Theres actually two components -- an Archery Club with an annual membership (they offer grounds access 7 days a week, and target shoot tournaments), and an Archery / Bowyer Shop. The shop (owner?) Mike was very helpful and professional; I asked him all sorts of questions about starting target archery as a new hobby. From what I recall, I think Mike can cut arrows to your size, and he offers a nice selection of entry level recurve bows, and compound bows, as well as bow accessories (string silences, gloves, arrows rests, sights, etc.).

My friend is a member and brought me and my daughter out to shoot. What a hidden gem! More people need to know about this place. A great place for archery. Very very family friendly.
