Been gone from Jacksonville for 5 years. This store went down hill. Might as well retitled it chase tactical. Variety was small and majority of the gear was from chase tactical. Looks like an airsofters paradise. Most stuff is overpriced.Whats with the cat too. There was a random cat walking around the store and rubbing against people. Climbing on products too. Personally I dont care and thought it was a funny cat but some people might consider that an issue.

After months of searching and missing drops, I was finally able to find the Hesco plates I was looking for. They were priced correctly, despite the high demand, and were delivered within a few days.

I ordered an item that was out of stock had a very vast response from a representative of the company letting me know and asking if I Would like a replacement or would Like to stick with what I ordered Was much appreciated

Staff are awesome here. Went here to get a BenchMade knife and spoke with a nice man wearing a skull ring. He knows his knives thats for sure! I make Damascus knives down south and was good to meet someone that knew plenty about the new BenchMade Damascus knives. Learned that they recently got an archery area inside the store and I intend on learning how to shoot arrows pretty soon so I think thats awesome! Prices on the weapons are pretty good so I definitely recommend checking them out.

I lost my favorite rain jacket and found the best price on replacement at Extreme Outfitters. I was a bit hesitant since I was not familiar with the company. They shipped my jacket the same day as order. With COVID-19, most companies are being slow. I am very pleased with my purchase.

ONLINE BUYERS BEWARE! I bought what was described as a 70 lb bow from them on eBay and received a 60 lb bow. When asked if they would exchange for the correct product, they said they had no way of obtaining the described bow, which I pointed out was not accurate because the bow company still offers the bow for sale. They then said they would be happy to sell me one at FULL price. They were shocked that Id ask them to go upside down to correct the mistake, when I was simply asking them to hold up their side of the deal. They kept saying, Well, you bought it on eBay... Then they proceeded to taunt me saying that I obviously had no idea how a business works and that evidently Ive never made a mistake. Well I certainly make mistakes, and dealing with this company is one of them. Dont make the same mistake I did. Stay away.

Awesome place. Wont go anywhere else. Customer service goes above and beyond. Even great for kids. I bring my 10 year old and 7 year old. They have a blast and are always learning.

I ordered the Exotac Ripspool from Extreme online. After placing the order, I almost immediately got a phone call from one of their customer service professionals, advising me that my color was out of stock. I chose another color and received it very quickly. Their folks were extremely helpful and friendly. A pleasure all the way and highly recommended.

The staff and owner of Extreme are supper hard working and friendly. I’ve gone to them for tactical gear to their latest and greatest archery adventure. I even have purchased dog related stuff from them for my animal. These guys are on top of it, between the bow techs that Zack has hired I honestly don’t think there is anything bow related they couldn’t help you with or fix.

This may be a great place to shop if you can get there in person, but their on-line system leaves MUCH to be desired.The product was ordered and we paid a RIDICULOUS amount to have 2-Day Priority Shipping. They took three days just to process the order and when I contacted their customer support (I contacted them on Monday morning for a shipping update) they couldnt care less! She told me: We couldnt process your order before pick up today, it will ship out first thing tomorrow. I finally got the ship notice email at 17:15 EST/14:15 PST (Which means it didnt ship the day they PROMISED). Wednesday morning I check the tracking and it is still pre-ship (meaning it is still at THEIR facility waiting for USPS to pick it up).So much for fast shipping services - it took them three days and the order still wasnt processed in time. Now even if USPS meets the two-day shipping window it will still have been over 7 Days to receive my product.I will never use this company again as they dont have the wherewithal to meet customer expectations or to fulfill their promised delivery.After calling (many times) I finally spoke with a representative whom informed me the delay was caused by weather... notice that wasnt posted on the site or I would have shopped elsewhere! Honestly is important in business, as is managing customer expectations about your capabilities.

Had a new bow I wanted set up and was scared about getting gouged for set up cost and didn’t know exactly where I could shoot. Heard Extreme outfitters does all the works and I am very very pleased. The tech was very knowledgeable and had me shooting within 30 minutes for under $30 and thats with 30 minutes of range time. Very relaxed vibes and I plan on shooting there every weekend.

This place is great! They have a ton of camping, hunting and outdoor gear set at very reasonable prices. The guys who run it are awesome, they know their stuff- if you have any questions just ask. They recently set up an indoor archery range which you can shoot up to 30 yards; targets provided, just bring your gear. We bring our traditional bows and wood arrows to shoot medieval style but we often see people shooting compound bows as well. Allover great place! I highly recommend!

A lot nicer inside than youd expect from the outside. I went in for the gun parts sign. There wasnt much in the gun parts category in there. But their outfitter parts had good selections. Store is too big for the amount of stuff so it makes it look sparse.

Best bow shop I’ll ever go to.

They have a good selection of 5.11 gear and various other outdoor activity gear. Went in looking for cheap climbing shoes, and got exactly what I came for. Employees are a little up front, but they didnt try to force sales on us. To me, it seemed like they dont get a lot of business coming through during the day if that matters to anyone.

My item shipped the same day of purchase, free and fast! Even included a sticker! I will definitely be ordering from Extreme Outfitters again.

Wasnt a bad place. Pretty helpful and willing to go out of their way. Got pelican case from there, wasnt much instore for that item type, but no other store had any, I was surprised they had what they had. However though really cool bros in there, willing to help you out. Decent amount of products in there, would check in there from time to time to see what they have. Kinda want one of their knives....

Bought EMS pants that didnt fit correctly by mistake. They were good quality, so I sent them back for a new size through amazon. Well make sure you have all your tags on still, because I took off one tag to try them on and when I sent them back they STOLE over 20 dollars just because a tag was missing off of them. And it cost 8 bucks to ship it back for a refund. Thanks for stealing my money, lost my business.

As soon as walked in the staff greeted me and helped me right away. Dave was very know his stuff and went out of his way to show and explain different knives to me. They even gave me a free gun magazine! These guys just made a repeat customer out of me!!

Absolute delight to shop here. I came in to buy an inflatable sleeping pad for my backpacking setup, but unfortunately, the one I bought had a slow leak. The next day, I went back to exchange it, but they didnt have another one of the same model. The employee with whom I spoke upgraded me to the nicer model, and didnt charge me the extra because the previous one was faulty. On top of that, he threw in a small cutting board and a leak patching kit, just to help me on my way. This is my absolute favorite gear store, and I have yet to be disappointed. I recommend this place to all my gear queer friends, and they all love it. Five out of five stars.

I was shocked by their customer service. In a good way. When a watch I had purchased months ago wasnt working correctly, I brought it back to them. Without the box or receipt they exchanged it without a question for a brand new one. You rarely get service of this caliber and integrity as an enterprise. Highly recommend.

Went in to Extreme Outfitters looking to purchase some Oakley sun glasses and once I entered the store I wasnt greeted with a hello or welcome. I went over to an employee who was chatting it up with two women and asked if he could help me find what Im looking for. Acting like he was irritated that I pulled him away from those two women he begrudgingly helps me out and once he saw they didnt have what Im looking for he quickly went back over to chat it up with the women again. After that I asked another employee behind the knife counter if they could special order the Oakley glasses for me, he stopped messing with a gun (wether it was a toy or real I dont know)and slowly turned to me acting bothered said no, youll have to look on our website then turned back around quickly and resumed messing with the gun again. If I as a customer are that unimportant to them then my money isnt important to them either, I will not be returning to this store.

First of all, these guys have no idea about the products theyre selling. It sounds like they make it up on the fly when you ask them a question. Tactical? These fools are tacticool at best. Secondly, one employee repeatedly told me to stop letting my son run around the store like he was going to break something. These jerks were acting like my son was terrorizing the store, which he absolitely was not. What are you selling anyway? Fine China? Not that anyone cares, but Ill never buy anything from them again just for the fact that they have no idea how to treat people.

Placed and online order, only to receive a cancelation email shorty after because they did not have my size?? Really? Outdated web program, unsecure site (android) and inaccurate inventory. Would not recommend using them for purchases.*I will have to monitor my credit card now that my info was used for a non existing purchase, through an outdated and unsecure site.
