My first time here last night to see the production of Old Town. I was really impressed! Excellent experience all around. Great acting and production.

30 bucks a ticket is crazy, but a great live theater experience.

Great performance space with no bad seats in the house. Intimate enough to see well but stage is large enough for more elaborate productions. Courteous staff and great box office on the phone.

Great show, but super small venue

New Stage theatre is the local playhouse. They are a great place for local theatrical talent trained and untrained to stretch their wings and learn. Prices are acceptable and customer service is good.

Great community theatre! 1st class productions.

We have seen 2 plays here, Peter Pan and A Christmas Carol, both of which were great productions. The theater is small giving you a very intimate experience and great views from any seat. For a small theater the sets are put together well and they dont skimp on the effects. Parking is limited to non-existent at the theater itself but the neighborhood it is in has plenty of close on street parking. If you havent been I highly recommend catching a production here.

I absolutely adore New Stage Theatre. The selection of plays are always tasteful and well varied. The set and actors are incredible - I am always drawn in until the last curtain call. It is a smaller playhouse than say, Thalia Mara Hall - but the quality of plays that are performed here surpasses any other in my opinion. Plus the cozier environment makes for the perfect environment for your play to unfold before you without distraction. You can even enjoy a glass of wine between sets. New Stage is, hands down, my all time favorite play house and well worth the visit.

WENT TO NEW STAGE BACK AT OLD LOCATION ON GALLATION STBACK IN 1998 !! IT WAS GREATTHEN JUST NEVER HAD A DATE TAKE ME THERE SINCE THEN !!BACK THEN IT WAS A DRAMA CLASS PROJECT !!THE ODD THING IS THAT MYDAUGHTER BOUGHT A HOUSEACROSS FROM NEW STAGE ONWHITWORTH SEPARATED BYFORTICATION STREET !!MAYBE THATS WHY MY PHONE SAID I HAD BEEN TO NEW STAGEOR BC MY SON HAD BEEN USINGMY PHONE & MAYBE LOOKED ITUP !! LOL !! CANT IMAGINE ZEBSITTING THRU A PLAY AS ALL HEWATCHES ON TV ARE HORRORMOVIES & MARVEL SUPERHEROESMOVIES !!

Great little theater

Took my very reluctant 13 year old son to see A TIME TO KILL. Lets just say before we made it to intermission, he leaned over and said, Thank you. This is really good I pride myself on introducing my kids to the arts and was so pleased that my son was able to experience this production. The adaptation of the movie to stage was great. You say elements and relationships that werent expounded on in the movie. The cast was PHENOMENAL. Thank you for making my sons first experience a great one! You have a fan for life! Excellent job by all!

With all the entertainment choices these days, often forgotten or overlooked. However, every time I go, end up asking myself why I dont I do this more often. The actors always seem to be much better than expected for such a small venue.

Enjoy most of the shows each season. We have season flex passes so we pick the show date and time, share passes with friends when we have extras.

Our homeschool group comes from McComb to enjoy the shows. Its a group favorite!
