Five star for the delux cabin. Made a same day reservation and felt very welcome. Easy to get to, amenities were WONDERFUL. The manager was friendly and great views. Walking path to the river. Didn’t get to that part but our neighbors seemed to enjoy it. Plenty of towels and space. Overall very clean and refreshing.
The description of the cabin said there was a patio. There was no patio. The front desk attendant was rude and acted superior.
We were very pleased with our 2 night stay in a deluxe cabin. Cabin was clean and had plenty of towels. Having a kitchen and gas grill was very convenient. Perfect place to stay for our trip through the National Parks. Cabins were pretty close together, but we barely noticed.
We spent 3 nights here, while visiting Grand Teton National Park and on our way to Yellowstone National Park. Were a family of six, including 4 children ages 7-16y/o, so we were looking for a space that will accommodate all of us.The place is nice - wood cabins, great views of the adjacent mountain, and only ~15-min drive to Jackson, WY, where you can find all that you want - but the cabin was very small. Theres a gallery bedroom, and it had two mattresses (1 queen, 1 single), and the ceiling is very very low up there; the kids bumped their heads in it a few times. The small space downstairs had a folding twin sleeper sofa, but it wasnt usable, as the mattress holder felt inside when opening it. The main bedroom, which has a queen size bed, is tiny and has no space besides the bed.On top of that, the wi-fi didnt work throughout most of our stay.
Good clean campground in an excellent location. Close access to the Snake River. RV/Trailer spots are minimally sized. Campers are backed up to within a foot of each other, and space between is so close you are forced to have your neighbors sewer plumbing running very close to your area. Prices are steep, tho not necessarily out of line for a crowded and popular location. They have no problem selling out the spaces, even at these prices. Not enough competition and plenty of customers.
We came with our travel trailer. We wanted to check out Jackson and do some hiking. That part was fine. The spots for trailers are very difficult to get into. two different gentleman had to move their cars so my husband could squeeze into our spot, which was right on top of our neighbor. We planned on staying for 3 nights, but decided to leave when a fire two miles away knocked out electricity. This left us with no air conditioning, water or internet. When I asked the staff if we would be evacuated because of the fire, they said they would notify us if that happened. We decided to pack up and leave a day early rather than sit in the camp with no electricity or water. I notified one of the staff and asked if we could get a refund for the night we did not spend there. The answer was no. I would not recommend this KOA to anyone with a travel trailer. Maybe the cabin experience was better. Would never come back here.
Fabulous location by the Snake River. They offer a variety of cabins, tent and RV sites. The service here is outstanding. They can help you arrange a direct pick up for white water rafting. They have wet suits on hand, so you will be ready to enjoy the wwater. The tent sites are on the water front, an amazing location. Cant say enough good things about this KOA.
We had a great time in our cozy deluxe cabin. Close to the river. We had everything we needed. The cabin was clean with lots of sleeping space for us 4.The staff was helpful and kind. The only complaint we have is the mattress in the master was uncomfortable with a huge dip in the middle but its still not worth less than 5 stars in my opinion.
What a beautiful place to camp! So fun to sit and watch wildlife and people on the snake river. Everyone there is super nice and it was clean. Scott the manager is a wealth of information and happy to share with campers. When booking your stay add an extra day because you wont want to leave. Be sure to book a Dave Hanson rafting trip, they pick you up at the campground office for a beautiful trip through the snake river valley. Great views and wildlife spotting.
We’ve been traveling to a lot of KOAs across the country and this was one of our least favorite so far. The cabins look very nice but We an RV site and our site wasn’t great. We had to share the electric box and the water and electric were on opposite sides of the space. Compared to other KOAs there wasn’t much to do for kids and it was a bit loud.On a positive note, the staff was very nice and the bathroom facilities were clean and easily accessible.
This is a great spot to stay on your way to the Grand Tetons. Clean and affordable. We stayed at Pooh Kabin right up against the Snake River. Check in and check out was very simple and nearly no contact. Restrooms and showers were very clean. The tent site are right on the river.
The cabin was nice but the KOA experience I’ve had at other KOAs was not there. It appears their main objective is to maximize profits versus allow you to enjoy outdoors and nature. . The cabin are situated so close I feel like I’m in a crowded city. It’s not relaxing siting on your cabin porch because there’s zero privacy due to how close everyone is.
This place is filthy! I rented the Big Bear Cabin, got a little one. The cabins are right on top of each other. Had to leave a day early because my back couldnt handle another night on the worn out mattress. There were spider webs hanging from the ceiling and in the windows. Had my 4 and 6 year old grandsons and they were constantly finding spiders. The cost was $280.00 per night. I would NEVER stay there again. And the tent camp sites are so close that the sewer drain is right were the folks sit at their tables and eat....horrible place.
Beautiful site right on the Snake River. The tent sites can be a bit colder because of the proximity to the river. Clean bathrooms with hit water. Great place to stay!
Awesome cabins next to the river. Clean and reasonably priced. Must be the covid season, but the campgrounds were nice and quite. Definitely booking here again on my return trip.
Stayed here at a tent site for two nights on a trip to Jackson, WY and WOW. Spacious sites, right by the river, you cant ask for more for the price. Felt secluded while being close to so many things! I will say, the directions to the site were a little confusing and we had to call for assistance to get to the site, mostly because we assumed the path was definitely not meant for cars when it was! Bathrooms and showers were fine, and yes the internet is slow, but yall youre CAMPING so not sure what youre expecting. From driving around the campsite, the tent sites seemed much more secluded and less on top of each other. Definitely an affordable place to stay close to so many sites!
These are some of the friendliest folks youll come across on your stay in the Tetons. Happy to answer questions and set you up on just about any adventure you could want. We had to wear our masks going in the store but that was better than not having the experience or the convenience. Thanks again ladies and gentlemen of the KOA!
Only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is the price. It was a little expensive. We stayed in a tent site and it was beautiful! Right on the Snake River. The tent sites were separated from the RVs and cabins and that was really nice and peaceful. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Great place to stay right on the river. Cute cabins. Quiet and relaxing.
This was the best place we stayed our whole week! Great for kids and all the creature comforts!
We had tent camping by the river. The view and camp grounds were amazing. The grounds and bathroom were clean and the employees were so nice. Thanks for an amazing stay!
Do not stay here unless you are in a tent! The cabins are NOT as described on line!Very small, and cramped, they even verbally gave us the wrong info on the cabins, were probably reading off their website. Not helpful in a solution, and called Kate the manager, she was rude and defensive. Very crowed campground. Pretty much only place you can see the river is tents. Very misleading all the way through, read ALL reviews before deciding, youll see a patern.
This place is the definition of a vacation ruiner. Our car had a break failure and it was unsafe to drive. We had to take the tires off and fix them. We left for 15 minutes to go get parts. My friend who rented the place got a voice-mail from a man who was swearing at her and told her we needed to get back now or he was going to tow us. We drove back as fast as we could and went to the front desk to talk to the woman their she said she didnt care if the car was totaled if it got towed with no tires or breaks and said we had 20 minutes to get off the property. Then a man came by and had the audacity to tell us he was going to call the sherif on us. These people have NO COMPASSION. We literally had to drive off the property using emergency breaks!! It was absolutely unsafe!! These people are the defintion of evil.
The deluxe cabins were clean, well organized inside, and a pleasure to stay in. Excellent location on the river. The other facilties on the premises were also clean and well maintained. The only down side was the laundry room which closed at 5pm and it was by appointment only.
Our cabin was great. Clean, comfortable, plenty of towels, kitchen with everything you need, even extra paper towels. Just bring food. Gas grill very nice. Only caution if u need ADA convenience make sure u specify.
We just checked out today and we are already missing it! Even before we got there the service was great. I called to see if we could upgrade to a cabin with a river view and she was able to move things around to make it work! When we got there and checked into our cabin we were so excited. It was so clean and cozy! Just adorable. They have several precautions in place to be extra safe from Covid-19, like contactless check in, making an appointment for laundry and wearing masks in the lobby/store. While I understand it can be a little frustrating to have to make an appointment to do laundry, I realize they are taking these precautions to protect everyone and to be able to stay open! We just loved our stay and hope to come back soon.
Im not sure why this place has negative reviews, we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here, and thought this was a great base for the last leg of our Grand Teton / Yellowstone vacation. We stayed in a cabin with partial kitchen. The Wifi was speedy, and the DirectTV was a plus. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We meant to have a fire, but our half-day hike ended up being a full-day hike and we were ready to just veg out in front of the tv for the night. No complaints here. Only con is that the cabins are very close together. but its still much better than a motel. We walked down to the river and there were some great campsites on the banks.
Stayed in the simple cabins with no bathroom. Well it is nice because it is right by the river and they do keep their restroom/shower rooms very clean. But the cabins are so close together there is no privacy. We were super excited because online said grill/fire pit. Ok the grill is a grate over the fire, they sell pine fire wood, pine has creosote which is posioness so you cant even cook over it. Matress was the same kind I slept on at girlscout camp in the 5th grade.
Cabin fridge had not been cleaned before we checked in, there was old pizza left inside. The outside light didnt work. The Wifi didnt work. The bathrooms were dirty. Showers barely had water coming out of them. One of the worst KOA s weve stayed at.
We had a nice experience. A staff member was able to help us pull in our RV. 2 minutes to the river.
A bit crowded but otherwise nice. The tent spots at the river looked amazing, but werent available anymore. Our lodge was $240 a night and therefore overpriced, but we booked same day on short notice and had no choice.
Property management seemed put out that we showed up. Cabin smelled badly. Website pictures must have been doctored as the actual site was not as pictured.
Nice KOA with good RV sites. Sorry, did not take my typical tent site as had a full RV this time.Near enough to Grand Tetons and not obscenely far from Yellowstone.
Extremely close to other RV’s as most KOA’s are, but you’re really packed in here at this one. I mean REALLY packed. I didn’t think it was worth $130 a night. When I asked why it was so expensive, the person responded, “You’re more than welcome to check with other campgrounds.” I get it. The price is the price, but I felt it was a rude way to answer a legitimate question when the average price for a KOA, full hookup, at much better locations are half the rate., so I did check, and I will say you’re better off pulling teeth from a bear than to try to reserve anything in the area on short notice (less than a year in advance), so I guess their price reflects that. Just don’t expect anything spectacular. The river was very cool. There are paths you can walk down to get to it and wade a bit. Clear water which you can hear rushing over gentle rapids gives it a sort of ambience if you can hear it over the din of the road construction and traffic that’s currently underway. It’s near Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park, so spending the days exploring and only coming back to sleep worked out great for us.
Very cramped. Not enough bathrooms for all the sites. I have been to many better KOA campsites
Not far out of Jackson Hole, this was a great campground right on the Snake River. The campground was clean and well cared for. We appreciated the extra precautions that were taken because of Covid-19.
Great place to camp. Very clean. Fantastic bathrooms with running water.
We had a GREAT time! The cabin was CLEAN, which was so important during COVID-19. (they seem to have their cleaning, mask, and health procedures down pat, thank goodness!) The people at the front desk, every time we had a question or needed anything, were super friendly. Third, what a beautiful, convenient location - right on the Snake River, just outside of Jackson. We will definitely go back!P.S. some of the negative reviews are about the wifi. We NEVER had an issue, except the day the construction guys down the street cut the lines, so cable, wifi, and phones were all out. The front desk staff handled everything like champs.
The tent sites were really nice and very spacious by the creek, let me say that first, pictures of all of them attached. No one reason drew me to this 3 rating, I thought it over. We entered the campground at the first possible turn, did a lap through the area and went to the office where we got passive-aggressively scolded for not checking in first like the sign (which we couldnt see from the way we came in) says. There was no wifi at the tent sites down there and thats only a strike against them because of the prices they charge and how cheap I know a wifi repeater is and they have wifi on site close by. The bathroom that services the tent area is just tiny and run down. I wish Id have taken a picture as I normally do, sorry. Should I score a campground on the people and the wifi? You decide. If the wifi and bathrooms matched the price, I could have gotten over the employee I guess. Laundry was fine.
This Campground needs some overall TLC. All the cabins are tightly squeezed in the area theres no real privacy. Our cabin was horrible the bunk beds where hard as a brick the ladder going up almost fell off just not a save situation for a child. There also was no air conditioner in the bunk room only a very very loud oscillating fan. So if you plan on sleeping on there blow up mattress in the kitchen/living room earplugs wont save you. The bathroom stunk like they needed to clean the septic tank, and if you plan on using any dishes from the cabinets dont they where gross I think they really rely on the person that stayed there the night before to clean them. There nicest area was down the hill for tent camping it was bye the water and pretty. Lol watch out for the man in the golf cart watching every move you make I think probably made 25 laps around the camp ground with a few hours.
We were told they do not have a dump station and no water hook-ups.
The tent site was beautiful along the Snake river. If you don’t enjoy the sound of running water, you’ll want earplugs. I found the sound of water to be a benefit, but heard that others complained. The bathrooms and dishwashing station at our site could definitely use some TLC and updating, but the location was great.I do wish the employees driving around on their golf carts would be more mindful about the clouds of dust they stir up when they drive too fast.
I would like to be able to review this campground but when I emailed them to start the reservation process I told them I had a 27 foot RV, which I thought would be fine because the website stated 30 foot maximum. I was told that I didn’t qualify because the maximum was 25 foot. Plus l learned that to stay at this location requires you to book a river trip .
My wife came down with her family to spread her dads ashes. From what i understand the cabin and the entire facility is the worst KOA that they have ever stayed at the cabins had no a.c and the people that worked there were extremely rude. Very disappointed in there time spent there the tetons are absolutely beautiful and im fortunate enough to travel to them for work a lot was hoping my wife and family had a decent time there considering the circumstance of there visit. They left a day early early because it just wasnt worth staying any longer. The cabin was rented under the last name encoe. To add to my review i also found out the fridge didnt work either. The beds where extremely uncomfortable also when they booked the room on line they where given a price but when they showed up they had to pay $100 more then. They where told the computer never lies even after showing the staff the recite stating the price it would be. Also sounded to be like the cared more about driving around policing everyones movements and not caring about hospitality.
Was unfriendly and unhelpful. Felt like we were just an inconvenience wanting to check-in. Not worth the cost.
Tent Camping here in Jackson, WY and this place has the best bathrooms from any place weve stayed at.
Beds are uncomfortable, but other than that its a pretty awesome place.
We had a very nice tent campsite (#115) which was private and right on the river. We were lucky though, some of the other tent sites that we saw were much more crowded. The bathroom block was fairly close and I liked the setup (large room with toilet and shower), only downside is sometimes you had to wait for a few minutes. We didn’t have any bad experiences with management, but it also didn’t feel very ‘friendly’ or hospitable. Overall, we had a good time
Friendly, clean, camp. Laundry was dated and the dryers did not sufficiently dry clothes. Not spacious by any stretch but the views are astounding and you can stroll right down to the river without leaving camp. They have a community fire pit which made for fun conversations with other campers. Gas grills were available for cooking, however no fire pits or grills were at the sites. Showers cycled between hot and cold but were mostly cold. It was strange because occasionally you would get a sudden surge of hot water. This happened to my wife and children. We stayed two nights as it was convenient to the sights we wanted to visit.
Great views with tenting spots right on the river. Great spots for humans and alligators alike. 10/10
We had a great time, but ended up forgetting our toddler formula & brand new bubbles
Stayed two nights. Was clean and quiet. The bbq grill worked well and was sparkling clean! Somewhat of a drive to Jackson. Used the scenic rafting option, which was awesome and had a 10% discount because we were quests - a good thing to know.
I dislike the fact the app doesnt show if the kamp sit is full or not, but at least they have an after hours phone when. Arrived at location. Thanks anyway maybe next time jackson. WY
This KOA is about 10/15 minutes south of Jackson. The tent site we stayed in was quite a walk from bathroom/shower area. I would suggest staying here if you can get a tent spot down near the river! They do have a number of cabins and RV spots but it appeared they were aiming to keep the cabin folk happy. I wouldnt suggest for more than a 2 night stay due to the limited number of options in the campground. Overall, the 1 night stay was a 7/10.
The cabin looked like it was new and everything was nice except for the mattress. Sleeping on it was not very good with all the noise it made every time someone moved. Booked 2 nights and tried to cancel the next night but they wouldnt refund us. They dont care if you are comfortable or get a good nights sleep! Two stars because the rest of the cabin was great.....
Loved my stay! Not a lot for kids to do though...
Amazing location with great access to Snake River. If tent camping, I highly recommend spot 110 as it is on the point of the creek and Snake River. Bath houses were well kept, office had several supplies you could purchase, and the employees were very friendly and helpful. Only down side, we didnt have any cell service and wifi would only work inside the office and it closes at 7 pm.
I feel sad to write my first negative review on any of my hotel stays. Cabin was extremely small, I dont believe it can accommodate 6 person which they advertise (Cabin description says 2 queen beds, and 2 single beds - what we got rather is 1 extremely uncomfortable queen size bed, 1 extremely uncomfortable queen size mattress (no bed), 1 somewhat uncomfortable single mattress (no bed), 1 extremely uncomfortable sofa-bed). Staff was definitely not friendly and do not understand that they are in service business, Lady at front desk rather scar you that you cant do this and you cant do that. Cabin staff rather looked at you like you are not their guest rather trespasser. Never recommend to anyone to stay here.
Great place! We tented for three nights along horse creek in the pines. IMO those were the best sites, plenty of shade and dirt instead of sand. Surprisingly there were also few bugs in the middle of July. We never had a problem even without bug spray. The sound of the creek was perfect for sleeping. Especially for my wife Showers/restrooms were clean and we practically had them to ourselves.
Gorgeous and clean deluxe cabins, staff was available and friendly.
I have stayed at the Snake River KOA South of Jackson Hole Wyoming several times, but most were just quick over night stays. This morning I just checked out after a 6 night stay and it was an amazing week! All of the staff went out of their way to welcome me and meet my every request. From asking me about my photography to delivering firewood right to my door, not a detail was missed. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, extremely helpful, attentive, and very kind. Even though I just left, I cannot wait until I go back! The facilities are beautiful, well kept, and very clean. As an individual who works a lot and doesnt vacation much, my River Bear Cabin facing the Snake River was just what I needed: beauty, calm, relaxation, peace, and tranquility! I enjoyed my evenings around a crackling fire listening to the flowing Snake River below. I also got to see two sets of Canadian Geese and their newborn, adorable furry goslings. The Snake River KOA is my favorite place to stay whenever I visit Jackson Hole WY/Grand Teton National Park because it is close enough to Jackson Hole without being right in Jackson Hole. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you so much Snake River KOA staff for your great hospitality; I hope all of you have an amazing summer! Take care!
GoogleWe recently spent 2 nights in a 1 room simple cabin. No air conditioning, no bathroom etc.It costs $282. total !!!!!When using the restrooms/ showers.... they were FILTHY!!They were never cleaned the entire time we were there. Disgusting and beat up.We were lucky to have quiet folks around us. But I would never stay here again. Even with plenty of room...they wont let you park a second car next to your cabin. So we had to walk back and forth several times each day. And thats with my bad hip. They policed several times to make sure no one was parked near their cabin. It was just a run down place. Could be nice if they took care of it.
We had a great experience at this KOA. Prices are reasonable and the location is prime for outdoor activities and to make a quick trip into Jackson. The cabin was clean and perfect tiny size to accommodate our small family. Bonus right by Snake River and a porch swing!
We car/tent camped 4 nights here. We did get reservations early and highly recommended you do so. Our site was right next ro the river and was simply beautiful. Easy short drive to Jackson Hole, but from enough away from all that hub bub. Did our laundry here and connect to their free wifi just to update friends and do minor business. This KOA makes the franchise look pretty good.
We stayed for one night in a regular cabin with a small kitchen and a BBQ. It was perfect. Very funny staff at the front desk. Very well kept and calm camping. I would go back again. The parking space for the K13 cabin is tight for a minivan! But im a good driver!
We do horse riding juste next to the camping and it was amazing
This place was alright. I suggest if you get a camp site lower down by the river you dont bring small children. Pretty dangerous. Huge fast flowing river with warnings about swimming at your own rish. Also the restrooms were ghetto style in a trailer stating that you are on camera, and I didnt see one anywhere?!? It is a six minute well worth it walk up to the restrooms where people rent the cabins. They are much nicer, cleaner, and not moldy like the ones down by the river. The spaces are small and clumped together. Bring a small tent so it feels like there is more room. Nothing extra special about this koa. We had stayed at West Yellowstone KOA the weekend before, so this one was a let down. Positives: the staff members were really welcoming, there was a small play ground, the location makes you feel like you are actually camping (amazing views from the tent sites at the river). The first picture is outside of the bathroom down by the river. The last is the ones up by the cabins, see the difference? Also they told us the WiFi has been poor for about 2 weeks because the road construction cut the line, but looking at the reviews this is potentially an ongoing issue that they are not being honest about?
Right by the river, good showers and clean
This is a clean facility. The wifi is pretty much non existent and the picture represented by Expedia is erroneous. i was looking forward to looking out at the river, instead, we were closer to the busy road.
Too bad, I generally like KOA campgrounds. We reserved a spot at this KOA, and booked a tent sight with water, electricity and grass pad. We were told the showers and restrooms were near by. We were told there was parking near our sight. What we got was a dirt site. We were told to set up our tent in between a families two tents. The family had two cars taking up all the parking. When I asked where I was supposed to park the campground employee told me to ask the office. When we went back to the office, and told them that the site would not work for us. The office lady simply said she would refund us. Great, but now we were without a camp site. So we drove another 4 hours, and got a hotel in Logan, Utah.
The deluxe cabin we stayed in was very clean and cozy. The campground was peaceful and in a beautiful location located close to Jackson, Wyoming.
This place is absolutely gorgeous!!! Beautiful view, so peaceful and just down right amazing! I was sad it was a short stay for me but I definitely plan on coming back to enjoy this place soon! The staff was really nice and helpful and I just couldn’t have been happier!
The experience of staying at a KOA, and its next to the snake river.
Very nice place to stay.
We had a great 3 night stay in the Grizzly Bear cabins. Very clean and roomy, and the main office gave use new fresh towels which was great. We will be back!
Didnt like the place at all most of the staff is very rude people . Dont recommend them to anybody
The atmosphere was beautiful - the tenting sites are right on the snake river. However the sites are so close to one another that you are so close to your neighbours. The road to get down to the tent site is unmaintained and narrow, so going down in a car is difficult. Once down in the campground you have to turn around in other peoples sites as it is a narrow one-way road. There are flush bathrooms in a trailer by the campsites with one shower. The bathrooms are filthy - the shower had mould and full of bugs. For the price of the renting site, I wouldn’t book again. We stayed in State Campgrounds for less than half of the price and had a better experience.
Nice people but Ive called to reserve 2 bedroom cabin. And when I got there after hours theyve assigned me a 1 bedroom cabin. Checked with them in the morning and all 2 bedrooms were gone so we had to live with 1 bedroom.
No phone service at park And the mattress sucked
Great location. On the Snake river. Could look out the front door and see the river.
We have been coming here since 1999 always been a secret gem I’m guessing new owners or manager...we tried checking in 40 minutes early that was asking too much but they were fine taking $300 for a cabin but not checking in a little early ridiculous...next time we come back we will be staying in town :( sad I used to love this place
What others have said about the internet is true, but knowing that going into our stay, we had a great time.
Great place for the family.
A bit crowded, small site, but clean and next to the river.
Booked two cabins and when we showed up they said we don’t allow any RV parking on site. Not enough room. Would have been nice to know that before we booked the rooms. The staff quality is mixed. The older women are very supportive and accommodating. The younger girls make you feel like you are lucky to be there with a little bit of attitude. Also, the culture here is not customer centric, it’s more autocratic or rule based. Perhaps it’s because there is limited camping spots and RV access. With more competition, they would need to be a little more accommodating. For example, telling two families of 9 (us) that check in time is at 3 a clock over and over when we asked if we could get in early. We had not taken showers in a long time and had young children that were very tired. Finally, the property engineer Jim is awesome. He embodies what they girls at the front desk should behave. He stuck his neck out to help us Park our van on premise when the girls said it was too big and they would give us a refund.
Have stayed here in the past and it was a nice place to stay but this time it was terrible not sure if its new management or what all I know is the sheets had not been changed are cabin smelled like smoke and for $260 a night I dont need some snotty teenager giving me the 9,000 dos and donts of KOA I would suggest they work on their people skills and stop the policing of the customers we were on the very end by the road so it was noisy but so be it whatever but my son came over parked his car there and it wasnt 30 seconds and some snotty rude person from KOA came over and was informing us we had to move the car I will never stay at that place again I would have given them a zero but thats not on the scale
Beautiful, peaceful, wonderful stay. Planning a stay next year with our extended family.
Nice koa, friendly staff and nice/clean bathrooms. The cabins and camp sites are very close together.
The first thing I noticed was how close the camp areas were. Just literally a few feet between cabins. They could not locate my reservations. So I tried to pull it up on my phone but there was no cell access. They gave me the WiFi password but their WiFi didnt work. They eventually found the reservation, gave me my deluxe cabin but it turned out that it was not cleaned as the beds werent spread. I had to go back to the desk to get a new room, which had different configuration from what I booked. I informed them about the lack of WiFi access from my cabin and the lady at the front desk admitted that it was spotty from the cabin. There was still no access from anywhere else, however.
This place really gouges you for everything. 50$ for a simple campsite, coffee in the morning is not complimentry, its $2.25, cabins are 250$ and up. Packed in like sardines, too. Provides a needed service in Jackson, but really take advantage of tourists. Its a touri grinder.
My family of 6 is staying in one of the cabins. Do far pretty happy with the accommodation. It has a pretty good wifi as well. It is a bit pricey but not bad. I was not able to do any fishing but it has really nice river access and options for camping right of the river. I would stay here again if i had another event in the area.
Electric was intermittent. Wi fi was spotty and slow. We didnt complain because the people next to us did and were told to find another place. This has been the highest priced KOA weve stayed at, with the lowest quality and customer service.
The cabins are far too close here compared to other KOAs. The bathroom lines are ridiculous during peak season. Wouldnt stay here again.
We like our lofted cabin. We only could wish to have an additional to AC heater or warm blankets and a mattress top for beds on upper floor. We arrived late and found an envelope with our name on it, there were directiction to our cabin and a car pass. The cabin was very nice, cozy and clean.
