Trail is not well kept at all. But its interesting to see a stone parapet on the trail.
Very pretty and not a lot of people
Quiet, narrow trail through the woods. Might be muddy after rains.
A very cool trail up the road from the south hill recreation way. A hawk caught a rabbit and I took the best photo of a hawk Ive ever taken. The trail varies in forest cover and terrain, but is an easy hike with a few inclines. There is a cool change in the forest growth of deciduous trees and conifer as well as the trail following the edge of a gully with a stream below.
Can be muddy depending on recent weather. Watch out for the south hill wildcat.
Great little trail, i recommend wearing boots
Nice little trail
Nice simple walking trail on Cornells campus. Enjoy a stroll if youre nearby.
Peaceful woods. Perfect for a winter walk.
I only recently discovered this trail that is maintained by The Nature Conservancy, but it is great. There is enough parking (free) for two or three small cars, and the trails are maintained well, though sometimes hard to follow. It isnt technical terrain, but it can be slippery and rocky, with tree roots. So it is natural, which is a good thing, and Ive never seen another person on it. There are some fact boards throughout, with history and nature info.
Nice hiking. Found a geocache unexpectedly.
Love this trail yhanls Ithaca keep it real yall
Its ok
Pretty and easy, good for dog walks.
Nice trail
It was OK. They did have info about it. But took me less than 30 minutes to walk around. Saw houses and roads right from the trail. Not much of a wilderness if you ask me.
