Little gem of a park located downtown with nice walking paths and open fields. We bring our dog here frequently to stroll through the park, making sure to stop on the pedestrian bridge to watch the ducks swim in the creek. There is a nice playground with a climbing wall, gazebo and picnic tables and a P-Patch.
Confluence Park is a nice little park and it is the first time we went there. My kids and I wanted to go and check out the salmon spawning but we didnt see any. The park has a small playground for kids mainly a climbing wall, some climbing ropes, and some balancing beams. My kiddos liked it. The graveled paths around the park seemed to be well maintained. There is plenty of trees and vegetation and there is a cool bridge and a creek. We didnt go around the entire park because a large bird, which could have been an owl or a hawk, we didnt see its face, all of a sudden attacked my daughter as we were turning around from Margaret Meadows Gateway. It really was scary and my daughter was very frightened and so was I, it all happened so fast as the bird came out from the trees swooping down on my daughters head. We decided to leave the park right away and walk around the park to get back to our vehicle as none of us didnt want to go pass the path where my daughter was attacked by the large bird. I am putting this out here because I am not sure if anyone had experienced something like this before but I searched online if this type of incident has ever happened in this park or not, and I couldnt find anything. Outside of the incident, the park is pretty.
Nice little park! Take time to get lost on the trails beyond the grass, by the creeks. Great views, can little creeks with the sound of running water - always relaxing. Plenty of picnic space, with a covered area that you can reserve.
Always very clean and well kept. Has a beautiful river cutting through it with a nice sturdy bridge. Tons of area to play catch soccer or frisbee.
Nice little city park. Well maintained, clean restrooms and some great places to watch the salmon run!
Theres 3 to 4 creek beaches. All of which have their own character. Some catch the sun linger than others but a great place to relax and listen to the flowing water.
Confluence Park, located in downtown Olde Issaquah is a great place to go to know the difference in what has been said, as opposed to what has been done to re-store the Salmon habitat observing the restoration project on the Creek that flows into Lake Sammamish.TheReInternet Man
Beautiful! A hidden gem in the city. Nice playground, ample grass area, and the lovely creek right there to relax.
A perfect place to play, relax, and contemplate natural beauty.
Beneath the bridge you will find an ideal spot for wading; splashing; testing sticks and leaves for seaworthiness; observing small bugs and smaller fish; and getting all your clothes soaking wet after promising your mother you would only go in up to your ankles.
We had a pictorial at this park and it was an enjoyable event.
A large park in the middle of Issaquah. Long green grass fields, well maintained paths, plenty of trees for shade, and some playgrounds for kids to play.
Grass is getting better. Needs more beautiful trees. No more cottonwoods please.
A very nice park, preserved riparian zone along Issaquah Creek. Open flat grassy fields, a small aspen stand, willows, and some landscaped garden beds. There is also a pavilion, restrooms, and a playground. There is also a small network of trails, anchored by a 600 meter loop and about 1.5 miles total. The bridge crossing the creek is a little over the top, but looks nice. Overall definitely worth the trip.
Very spacious park to chil out
The kids enjoy the creek.
Great place to do some breathwork.
A sweet outdoor jem in the heart of Issaquah.
Great walking trails, Grassy fields, covered picnic tables. This is one of the few public spaces in issaquah you can enjoy the issaquah creek. There is a bridge across one part of the creek and some foot paths along side it. It’s a small park but a great green space. There is normally plenty of street parking
Favorite park to take my doggie to.
It is a lovely park that has been recently updated. They have included a bridge, play ground, and updated trails. There is a nice semi enclosed picnic area that is free and open to public. Theres also easy access to the creek, which is nice for kids and dogs when the weather turns warm.My only complaints are that the trails around the park meander in a way that doesnt make sense. You still have to cut across the lawn or go down a steep incline to use the park as access to Gilman Village, Downtown, or the apartment complexes near by. Also there is a lack of park benches. Its a large park, its easy to get tired and want a place to sit down. It would also be nice to have benches to encourage people to sit and socialise or enjoy a book.
This is a great place to play in the river, picnic, nice playground, wide open spaces.
Good place to center if a quick fix is needed.
Great park and clean bathrooms
Public restrooms with locking doors & heaters to be comfortably warm. Multiple fields for dogs/kids to play with gravel paths & foot bridge across creek to grass meadow, have creek access on both sides. A kids jungle gym/playground & community garden access. Has lights in covered picinc area/barn either trash and recycle bins.
Well restored, but still too much access to vulnerable habitat. Nice walking paths and connection across Issaquah Valley.
Nice park with nice walking trails. Great bridge for viewing Salmon when they are on their way upstream.
Lovely area to hangout any time of year.
This is a very Lovely little Park that you can bring your family too, bring a blanket and come here to enjoy a picnic lunch, its like a little paradise if anything could make it better, I would say more benches and tables for picking
Lovely lawn and flat trails. Perfect for a family picnic or quick dog walk
I go to this park daily to walk. Its nice, its definitely a community park, has a garden, and they also paint rocks with positive messages on them. Its right on the river. However on the opposite side of the river (bridge access)there is anothdr small trail. I never feel safe to run it, there always people hiding out in this bushes. The park rangers do attempt to keep the bushes cut to its easier to see in those hidden areas. Perhaps if there was more people walking/running these trails itd be better.
Beautiful, accessible, peaceful. Enjoy!
Wading and fishing along Issaquah Creek, all the way downstream until I cant Wade any farther. A nice little quiet place tucked away in the city.
Beautiful! The space near the river was the best, so tranquil and pretty.
Decent park to go on a short walk with my dog Bentley, however....Needs and off leash section for pets. Extra star for having public restrooms!
I love this park, its simple, but it offers so much. Its become the official hang out for many of my friends. Theres free parking, a playground for children, a community garden, public bathrooms, covered picnic tables, grassy fields under the shade of beautiful trees that could be used for sports or laying down a blanket, and beautiful walking paths in many directions around the creek. Its also within walking distance of Gilman Village and Front Street, the other best parts of Issaquah. You can walk to get bubble tea or coffee and come back to the park easily.
Big open area, enough covered tables. Great place for kids and dogs to run.
Such a cool park, wide open spaces, playground, the river, and the covered space. Love this park.
Beautiful park, nice people who dont mind you running your dog. Theres a georgous bridge over Creek where salmon run. Its small but takes 20 mins to do whole park but its by old town Issaquah which is a site in itself.
Great little park. Be sure to visit the back trails
Beautiful walking park for animals and great covered area with picnic tables, even nice shady trees to sit and read under. I would recommend this for both excersizing people and those who just want to sit and enjoy the view.
Beautiful park with a stream and.lots of places to have a private, quiet moment. Spend the afternoon in reflection and reading, and just relaxing in the sunshine
Currently the park is cordoned off with orange plastic fencing. Im assuming its because theyre trying to regrow three grass. The trash bin was filled to the max with bags of dog poo at the top.I hope the city takes care of it soon.
Great place to walk. Looking forward to coming back in warmer weather for a picnic. #picnic
Will be much nicer after construction is finished
Nice walking trail that ends at the park.Small play structure.Well maintained.
Place looks like it is closed for construction as of 9/10/2019. Hard to tell if it was open or not. Ended up not stopping there since it looked like it was closed for renovations. Kinda tricky to get to too as there are no trail blazer signs for the park, and the roads leading to the park can be easy to miss. Not sure when construction is supposed to finish up
Nice park with streams and plenty of lawn.
Cool play structures and lovely, whimsical landscaping - lots to see! I love walking here, except not with my stroller because the gravel paths are uneven and the gravel is too loose and deep in spots and the wheels get bogged down. So close...
A nice local park along Issaquah creek
Beautiful park in the middle of the city. Nice place to play in the water on hot days!
Theyve recently remodeled the park - added a bridge so you can walk around the other side of the creek, new walkways around the whole park, a play ground, etc. It looks a lot better now and is more practical as a park. Before it was really just a huge field next to a creek. I believe the new setup around the creek is supposed to help salmon migration as well, so I think itll be fun to see all the salmon pass through there in the fall (the salmon hatchery is just down the street if you want a much better view of that, though).
Walked through with my Bengal Forrest Gump. Gorgeous park.
Many trails to walk
Quiet place with a little playground, nothing fancy but pretty relaxing
Cute little park in issaquah.
Beautiful!
Amazing park, my dog loves it and I love it too! Not only can you have nice picnics or huge parties but there even is a creek to swim in!! I love this park
Great place to have a wedding
I was here for a get-together. Convenient for family and big group events. Free parking available.
Very nice park if you go in the forest theres a creek/little river, clean water, quiet neighborhood its just nice.
Nice park and walking trails. Wish the bathrooms had been open but otherwise so complaints
Lovely park in downtown Issaquah.
Fun little nature park you can play along the little river. Great for kids, furry friends and adults.
What a beautiful park ! Grassy areas, playground and a trail to the river. Happiness.
Great community park. Attended a community event there with food trucks, bounces houses and a live band. Really nice community event.
It is neat
Yearly special needs picnic. Perfect setting. Good times
Nice pathways & green grass; good scenery, the start of a great in city park for those confined to apartment living.
Beautiful Park
Confluence is defined as the junction of two rivers, especially rivers of approximately equal width. All I could think of in a community like Issaquah was what a lack luster name for their park that is close to the center of the city. They seem to always be doing construction or cleanup at this location, but when they are not, it is a nice little park with a new bridge to go to the otherside... where I have yet to venture beyond it.
Great open space with access to the creek. New playground is super fun.
Love this park! It has a small playground, newly installed as of Summer 2017, but streams in the park are the highlight for the kids.
Nice park
Lovely hidden park!
Cool park in Issaquahs historic district. Playground for kids, grass area and covered picnic benches.
Its a nice park, peaceful and a great place for a walk.
Nice place for a picnic, but no play area for kids.
This park has great trees that change with the seasons, a nice covered area and plenty of open space! It is never as busy as other parks in downtown Issaquah which is nice.
Nice location especially with the creek below.
This is a fun park to visit. Off the beaten path.
Great place to fly the drone.
Great for picnics or just to go sit by the creek and read a book, away from the hustle and bustle of front st.
Nice park for disabled
