This review may seem a bit long-winded, so feel free to skip to the final paragraph is you want the summed-up version.I purchased a ticket on funmoviegrill.com for the drive in theater for August 31st. Unfortunately, some major events happened that day which meant I could not go. I tried to cancel my ticket, first through the email confirmation, then through the website, then finally I tried to call. None of these methods were successful. I decided to take solace in the fact that I supported a movie theater during the pandemic.My wife and I decided to try the next day. We again purchased a ticket for the drive in online. On our way to the theater it was raining, but we were determined to go. When we arrived at the theater, we were notified the showing was cancelled. Nobody informed us. This theater isnt a short drive either. I ask if the tickets for the cancelled showing are automatically refunded. They said no, but I could come inside to get a refund.During this time I also find out the previous night was cancelled too. I ask to get a refund for both nights since I have the confirmation. and if it was cancelled, I obviously didnt go. The manager was very abrupt and told me that I should have called yesterday and that there is nothing she could do. I told her I did try calling and no one answered. She still refused to give a refund.Ok, fine. I will just get the refund for tonight. She processes a partial refund, because they do not refund online fees. Online fees from their own website! Crooked business practices!I want to support theaters during this time, but I cannot stomach supporting crooks such as this. The management was horrid, lacking the most basic customer service skills. I hope theaters survive this pandemic. Although I hate to see people lose their jobs, I really do not care if this theater is one of them.

Last night was our first time going out since this whole pandemic thing started. We enjoyed the movie and the very spacious theater. We will be returning. Enjoyed it so much that I was able to put a few personal belongings on a empty seat next to me, my boyfriends cell phone was one of the items on the seat . By the time we realized we didnt have it we were already home . Nobodys fault but our own. We are having issues getting into contact with the management team and there is no answer at the actual theater. Does anyone know how I can get In touch with team member or possibly a customer service number to get some help.

It is not a drive in theater. Its misleading on their website and Google maps. Please dont waste your time coming down here, instead you can go to a better theater where it does not stink like curry. I heard, it has a new owner, apparently who has no idea about running a business.

This place is surprisingly nice! I was also surprised that they have good food AND CARAMEL POPCORN OF ALL THINGS! WOW!!!

We are in town for the weekend and I decided to take the kids to a movie. After googling, I found this theater wasnt too far from our hotel and it was actually opened. We were immediately greeted by the owner or someone in management. They checked our temperatures at the door (which I appreciated). He was very friendly. Since the theater had just opened the popcorn was still popping so we waited. While waiting the owner/manager informed us of all the events that were coming up. He was very nice and helpful. The auditorium was clean. (With Covid happening...this was very important.) We enjoyed the movie. I highly recommend this place. If ever in the area again, we will definitely return.

Great place, lots of different indian style pizzas that are awesome (esp. if you are so sick of popcorn and hotdogs at other theatres, barf!) this place also has almost noone around so if you ever wanted to join the cinema-high club, this would be the spot ;)

It was fun to watch a movie during the pandemic. We were there early, though the screen was not in the center of our view. Late vehicles were distracting, some arrived in the middle of the movie,vwhich was bewildering. Not perfect but safe fun in the current situation.

FUNTASTIC! drive in screen was bit dark (low brightness). So, didn’t enjoyed that much. never buy a FOUNTAIN DRINK there it’s one of the EXPENSIVE drink in the planet ($6 for medium). Chaat there is rubbish... had a LOOSE MOTION for days.

First time visiting this theatre and was very happy. The drive-in is a screen set up in the parking lot, which I think is a genius move that more theatres should be doing during the pandemic. Will definitely go back, even after quarantine is over.

My daughter and I visited over the weekend and really enjoyed the experience. We got the unlimited pass which lets you watch as many movies as you want and also includes a medium drink and popcorn. The staff were very friendly and took great care of us. I would highly recommend!

Very clean, they are taking precautions very seriously, and the tickets are super affordable. It was pretty warm in the theater, but otherwise a great experience.

Visited twice in the past month and both times they had a drive thru show going on but we ended up going inside. We watched Jurassic Park one evening and 50 First Dates the next. Since COVID 19, they have been showing old movies for $5 per person and the theater has been almost empty for the last showing of the day. The employees have been courteous and attentive to our needs. Will definitely visit more.

Their Radio advertisement doesnt match with reality. For E.g . They are advertising on Drive i theater and it closed quite sometime back.

Nice place to watch all Hollywood, Bollywood, Kollywood and Tollywood movies and also in premiere show as well. Hollywood Theatre is now renamed toFun Movie Grill. Tickets will be around 11.99$ for most of Indian movies and in first day it will be around 25$ for few movies. You will get popcorn, ice cream and other snack items even for kids. There are 16 screens in this complex and you can book tickets online or collect at kiosk to avoid convenience fee.

I got to see Midway here! The movie got bad ratings but was a good movie....but back to the theater...I had hot Thai Tea, and it was great! Nice food service areas but few customers to serve. Admissions staff was friendly, people in food service were friendly, clean theater and clean rest rooms! Chairs were somewhat dated, and thus not the most comfortable theater that I have been in recently. Overall...a very good experience and I got to see a good movie in a theater that had good sound, good theater projection, and I didnt leave deaf from the sound system operations.

Great experience...took us a while to find spot for our car but worth it. Kids loved it

Good place... For popcorn. They must have been under a new management team. The people behind the counter gave me the popcorn and a little bit more so Im very appreciative.

Poor Service by Fun Movie Grill Irving. They closed the main door and we were left waiting outside. There were no signs of secondary doors or doors are closed. We did had purchased tickets online and no one was picking call when called at Fun movie grill, after some time the guard came and opened the door.The show was at 10.30 and we reached by 10.50. Don’t understand how they can close the doors when the show is going on.

This place is cool and has some decent food. My only problem is that their prices can be a little pricey for the food and drinks, and the bar has a very limited selection of liquor and doesnt have many of the drinks that they have listed on their menu. The bartender, i believe his name was austin was real cool and knew how to work his way around the missing ingredients and was able to still serve me and my girlfriend really good drinks. He chatted us up before the movie and made some recommendations and was a good source of entertainment as we waited to be seated for our movie. Some of their theaters dont have heat or air conditioning which can ruin the whole movie experience. In all not a bad place just needs to fix some of the minor things that make a big difference.

Dated 01/20/2020. There is NO HEAT turned on in the auditorium. The temperature is in 40s inside, as it is outside. I asked about this to the staff and she said she is not the correct person to talk to. Neither does she know who the correct person is. My hands and legs are frozen by the end of the movie. There is a big queue for snacks and there is no staff member for almost 20 mins. I have to pick up my pop corn in the middle of the movie. The rest rooms are a nasty mess. After the management changed from Regal to Fun Movie Grill its extremely bad. In short its understaffed, mismanaged and absolute poor customer experience with no value for money.

Theater seemed the same with little or no renovation. This was taken over by fun Asia and changed the theater name from Hollywood theaters to Fun Movie Grill. I would say never had a bad time at this theater, seemed to me as going to a theater in India. I still enjoy coming to this theater. Its very convenient and accessible.I look forward to the changes in near future. And will keep coming back.

One of the only theaters that have movies in the AM during the week. They also have found a niche with Bollywood films and other foreign language films. Clean and comfortable.

We went late afternoon on Saturday. Not busy so quick service at snack bar.BUT, the green exit sign in the theater was so bright as to be distracting. If you are going to see a movie with lots of dark screen time either sit close in front of exit sign or pick a different theater.

Decent place to watch to watch a movie. Never had any of the experiences other people have I buy my ticket watch the movie and leave no issues. The staff is pretty polite they converse with you etc.

Cassie the manager was quick, efficient, decisive, all while keeping the best of up beat attitudes! We could have watched a complete disaster of a terrible movie and we still would have sat through it all because of her level of competency! We will watch a movie there every day of the week because of her sheer delight! Everyone and their grandma should come one and come all!

Went to see the Hindi-language film Super 30 here and was so pleasantly surprised by this theater. I went for the last showing of the night (10:30) and not too many people there......but was not deserted. I paid $7.00 for a ticket......talk about CHEAP! The theater was big, had stadium seating, comfortable seats, good sound system and overall was a very enjoyable time. Will return here again. I suggest you check it out

One of the theatres which always has Indian regional movies playing around this area.They have decent space for each screen, do not expect a great place.Picture quality is also good if not great. Same goes to sound quality.They have good selection of food and beverages but don’t expect huge selection again.They could maintain the place little better, but that is my suggestion.

I must write to you regarding the condition of your Macarthur facility in Irving Texas. I purchased 2 tickets, arrived at the location and was unable to stay. The entire auditorium was filthy. I bought reserved seats, but since there was no other person in the theater I opted to find cleaner seats, EVERY seat in auditorium 3 was filthy and had some white sticky substance all over the seats. I understand it may not be 100% clean but this was by far the worse kept movie theater I have ever patronized. Needless to say I was unable to watch the film because I was not going to stand up the entire movie. The M.O.D. on duty Chelsea was very pleasant but it was beyond her control. Nice place to watch movies. Latest movies in time. Have a friendly staffs and nice environment. But the only thing I didnt like is the seats. They are not as comfortable as others near Irving. The snacks here are also good but they dont have a coffee menu :( which I dont like. Anyway was a nice experience.

Had a ticket for Downton Abbey on September 12 7 PM showing. When I arrived they said the movie would not be showing and would not give any reason at all. I had bought my ticket online and they could not refund the purchase because it had been bottom line. I found the person in charge, or 20 or 30 something to be very uncaring and She could not provide the phone number for me to call the theater the next day to see about getting a refund. She did not know how to get a refund on fandango and was unwilling to assist a 70-year-old, myself and doing such. The theater absolutely stank And while I was standing there about 20 people walked out from different theaters saying they could not breathe. I would recommend the health department inspector’s theater. I certainly would not eat or drink anything from the concession. Other than returning to get my refund, I will never visit this theater again other than returning to get my refund, I will never visit this theater again.

Great movie theater. Went to watch Dhabar movie of Rajini Kanth. Very comfortable seating and nice administration. Ticketing option was amazing.

Went to see a movie with my friends a couple of weeks ago, waited in line for 10 minutes as there was only ONE person behind concessions. The manger on duty was talking to what seemed like family in the lobby, who were very loud & asking for free refreshments even though the line was incredibly long with paying customers. Also the way the manager spoke to the employees was very alarming and quite embarrassing. When we finally got into the theatre it was hard to find seats as some of the seats were sticky. We loved this place when it was Regal. But it seems with new management this place is going down bad & very unprofessional. Hopefully something gets changed and it becomes more professional and friendly.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE?1. The heat wasnt on at all in the movie. Not just a little chilly...COLD.2. Large subtitles in Spanish during the whole movie (no warning or indication they would do this)3. You purchase tickets at the concession stand. Had to wait forever.This place really went downhill. Just go see for yourself.

I watched here both Hindi and English movie. Great experience. They offer buy 1 get 1 free on Wednesday shows. Decent crowd. Good place to bring kids. The seating arrangement inside is stadium seating. Sound system and the screen is also good.

No assigned seats for Indian movies. And the the Indian movie screens can get pretty packed.So, you need to be on time to catch a good seat. The seats are very basic. You cant get too comfortable in them.The washrooms are clean and theres one for every 4 screens or so. They do give a interval break for a few movies and they dont break for most movies.You can find almost all of Tamil, Telugu and Hindi movies under one roof

A decent move theater. With Hollywood movies they show Bollywood (Indian) movies.Seats are ok but some not comfortable for longer movies like some Bollywood.

I had to give a star but honestly this theater is not worth not even 1 star. Soon as i entered into the theater it was uncomfortably cold, I couldnt even enjoy the movie. I went to the manager to complain and she told me there is nothing she could do about it because they were renovating. This was my first time coming to this theater and my last.It was a horrible experience for me and my friends. What a waist of money.

No Fun, No Grill to be had at the revamped Fun Movie Grill. Movie was great & so is the staff. However, food selection is horrible i.e there is no grill and menu online is not accurate. I ordered a pizza and it was cardboard. A nice employee who was off the clock went and made me a new pizza. Theater was hit, smelled and musty. Some other patrons in the movie were very rude, throwing food and talkative and no control over kids. Would not come here again. Spend the money and go to a different theater. In a time where people should be coming together to enjoy movies together, this theater clearly caters to a certain clientel.

So there was a big issue Tonight and everything stopped working. Yes It was a long period of waiting and I was upset that I was going to miss my movie but I must say that the Manager did everything in her power to help out every customer even though she was getting yelled at by like everyone. Seriously getting mad and screaming isnt going to make the things work! Good Job guys on keeping it cool.

The employees here are fantastic. I have come here on several occasions and every time, I have been treated just the way I wanted to be - kindly and respectfully.They offer a bunch of food that are actually quite tasty and I almost always get something because of that. I do wish they sold ICEEs... Im sure its to come though.The place is apparently getting some upgrades to it (bringing back ICEEs I hope!) which would make it the complete package. I cant wait!

Staff and theater were amazing. The issue we had were rude movie goers. The people who are watching the movie have no respect for other movie goers. They stand up infront of you so you miss a good part of a scene, they turn on their flashlights to look for items dropped, they try to calm a screaming child instead of getting up and walking out to calm them.

THIS place is disgusting. The coworkers are lazy. We were early for our movie for the last showing but the lazy employee sat there and ignored us. I WOULD never waste my time coming here again. I got off work and rushed to make it to this movie for its show time but because the employee just kept ignoring us I can’t imagine the service they give inside. As we were standing at the door we saw big Cockroaches. DISGUSTINGGGG.

Not a bad theater. Old style seats but still comfortable. My popcorn was kinda stale tho. That can happen at any theater of course. But I was attending the first show of the day. It should have been piping hot and fresh.

Great place for a family to enjoy. The movie timings are convenient with several popular movies showing before 8. Its international selection for Indian movies may not be the exact same as what you would get in India, but its got some of the most popular ones that play all across the country. The popcorn can be on or off at times, but on the most popular days (Saturdays) you can get some very nice popcorn. The theaters are clean before each movie and screens are always clear with crisp sound. It truly is a great place to enjoy an evening.

It was a great experience

The AMC manager Wade is quite unpleasant and refused to correct an error in our tickets for the same time movie. As a result, the movie shut down mid way and Wade was not at all accommodating or apologetic but rather spiteful and seemed to enjoy our misery of a half watched movie. The other guy behind the counter was chill and seemed like he way sorry about such a rude manager.Definitely not coming back here again, theres quite a few options with good staff just minutes away.

If minus 5 star is possible ; this place deserves minus 5 start. Arrogant manager Mr Wade ; arrogant and pathetic service staff ; most uncomfortable seats ....avoid this messy spot at any cost and visit some nice cinema nearby

Had very good experience. Good food options unlike other places where they only have popcorn and coke.

Old, asked for Samosa Chaat they gave us Papri Chaat (no issue). Most uncomfortable seats ever. Theater 1 ceiling tiles missing. Wish Cinepolis played Bollywood movies.

Worst customer service. I purchased Groupon for 4 entries. I even made step ahead and call them to ask of they will accept the groupons and if its valid for any Bollywood movie. The guy told me yes, they accept groupon certificate for any movie playoff g today. When we went there they try to find every reason they could not to accept the Groupons certificate and last excuse they made its only valid for movies under $10. When all there Bollywood movies starts from $11.99. Which mean my groupons certificate is waste now. We end up purchasing the ticket at the box office. They didnt want to accept there own groupons ad and I even offer to pay the difference and the manager said no. Now I know where there was only 6 people in the movie hall. 4 out of 6 was us. Never ever going there and will never recommend to purchase Groupons for this dirty place.

Loud, uncomfortable theater. Sound became distorted half way during the movie and we left. The manager took care of us and was very attentive. Good people can only do so much with what theyre given though.

Good place for latest Bollywood and Tollywood movies.

Great movie theatre, shows really good movies that almost never are fully booked because they manage their schedules correctly unlike many other theaters. Going here with friends is really fun because after a couple weeks of the movie’s release date, the theatre has only about a dozen people in it which makes it more fun than the other crowded theaters. The arcade machine and size of the theater is what keeps me from giving it 5 stars. Great place!

Not much has been changed. More menu.I just expected I could drink beer. But they are not ready. So I will visit again when all menu and beverage are available like other grill movie theaters.

Poorly kept, unclean, smells bad. Staff is fine but the ‘company policy’ that they have to enforce is ridiculous. They only sell sugary drinks, nothing unsweet and so what are people supposed to do? Most places and even other movie theaters that don’t allow outside food or drink will at least allow in a water or something for people who need it, but not this place. I find that ridiculous. If they offered unsweet tea or something it’d be different but there’s nothing even on the menu that doesn’t have sugar or sugar alternatives, so people should be allowed to bring in water or something unsweetened.

Took my son to watch Angry Birds 2. I started itching on my leg about halfway through the movie did not think anything of it until I get up at end and see bug bites. Turned the flashlight on my phone and there it was a bed bug on the seat. We were in theater 7. I will never come back Im very allergic to that my leg was red and swollen talk to manager and she was very apologetic to me very nice she refund my money back.

Not good, screened a completely different movie in different language instead of the one we went to watch. After complaining screened the original movie after almost half an hour. Lights were on for several minutes while movie was running and didnt turned on after movie was over.

Very convenient location and with in residence communities and retail . Vast car parking spaces and many 3D shows. Clean rest rooms and nice open space around . Safe area to watch movies late evenings .

I gave it 1 stars because of the manager he tried his best to help. I cant say this enough when going out to places and movies they charge you a arm and a leg for small things,we went Saturday and they movie was to start at 415 but did not we had to go and get the manager to start the movie it took till about 5 pm to get the movie started. Smdh then I paid 25.00 dollars for two drinks and a large popcorn witch was burned to all hell.the drinks where very weak but hell I guess this place wants to run its its business in to the ground... When the other company owned it it was at least a good movie place to go. No I am sorry for the movie not working nor the burnt popcorn save your money people and go somewhere else because this place is not where it is any longer very dissatisfied with the whole experience.. I wish they would just close this business down it was so bad. Or just fire every one of the managers and start fresh who ever owns this movie theater should be ashamed of how his or her management team handle s his or her business. Enough on the food issue lets get to how the placed looked the bathrooms were dirty and had pee and poop on the tolites like no onep has cleaned them in days when going to places bathrooms are and should be too top shape I would not let my worst enemy use that restroom it was so bad. It smelled bad all around the theater I wished I could speak to the company who owns this place and fill them in on how its ran because clearly they dont know....

Where should I begin??? First of all when you think movie theatre you think a nice cool place to enjoy a movie on a hot evening. Either they turn the ac off to save electricity or the ac is broken. Not fun watching a movie in dry/ hot air. Secondly they ran out of small popcorn bags and can only sell large and charge you an arm and leg ( popcorn looked burnt anyway). The lady selling concessions was quite rude about it aswell.(poor customer service) Movie was good but overall experience .5/5. Would not recommend go somewhere else and spend the extra $2 on a movie ticket for a better experience.Also Fix the iccee machine it’s been broken for weeks !

Usually just few people visited to watch movies. Its not busy but I feel comfortable. This theater is like new building.

I watch a lot of movies and in Regal theatre specifically. I like this theatre and I was excited about Asian movies earlier but they rip you apart. I had enough points to watch a movie for free. First I was told I couldnt use it on Asian movie and I thought its alright. So I decided to watch the standard movie. Yet I was charged certain amount for a matinee show on a weekday- reason... Its a NEW movie. So I ended up spending my all points on a afternoon show and ended up paying money on top of it. I have been to other Regal theatres before, never seen something ridiculous like this. I guess I am not returning back to this theatre. Very disappointed. Gave 2 stars only coz theatres are clean.

It has 5 star potential but it isn’t quite there. They charged 7.20 for my 3 year old like how is that a fair price especially when it’s a grown up movie and my kid isn’t even watching it. The entire theatre was empty besides us so it’s not like he would’ve taken an extra seat. The menu for food and drinks is very little and far too expensive. The screens are kinda dim and it’s always freezing in there. I’ll stick with the mall for now.

There was no air circulation in the theatre and the worst part over there was bed bugs, I just moved from my seat and sat at another place still the experience was same there were bed bugs all over. Please try avoid watching movies over there.

They always exceed my expectations. The staff are great. They never disappoint.

I would give then less stars if it were possible. They are under new management. We went to see Aladdin and the previews for the movie were all rated R. They used the F word and were not appropriate for our 4 and 6 year old. I immediately exited the theater and the manager just said “sorry we are trying to work on it”. They were not very friendly nor overly accommodating. We had to wait until all previews were over to enter with our kids. It’s a dirty theater and dead.. go somewhere else!

This is a great theater for an older one. Staff is extremely nicer than many in the area. Just saw Avengers and the only thing Id say is negative is the picture wasnt very crisp. It was kinda dark. Staff and price alone make me still give it 5 stars. Good customer service is a rare breed these days.

No advertisement before the movie, also no info at the ticket office when we purchased our tickets about the missing advertisement. So we missed the first 10 minutes our movie. Later I spoke to the manager, he was very unfriendly. Poor customer service.Under new management????Good luck if you handling so your customers.

Nice place. They have cozy recliner, clean and tidy environment, wide screen, good sound systems, friendly environment, clean restrooms, and huge parking lot. Loved this place!

Really awful customer service and very unethical conduct. They refused to accept a movie reservation via Groupon but still advertise that they will accept these for any Bollywood movie. I will NEVER come back even if that means paying the same exact price (or even a greater price) at a decently-run and ethically-upright American business such as AMC Stonebriar, AMC Grapevine Mills, or Cinemark West Plano (look up these theatres to find a better venue). I really wanted to like the re-branding of this theatre, but it seems that management wants to trick customers and milk out every dollar. Remove your ads from Groupon if you dont want the customer traffic into your theatres! You should really receive a US Department of Commerce and TX Dept of Licensing and Regulation citation for your misleading practices. Maybe we need to file a complaint.

Extremely annoyed with this new management..stupid policies & not customer friendly. I use movie pass, but this theater opens up at 12 !, by which time the movie pass tickets are sold out. They dont have a kiosk where i can buy tickets even when the theater is not open.2: Regal used to accept moviepass and if there is a difference in amount ( for higher cost Indian movies) i used to pay the difference through my credit card..no such thing with fun movie grill.3: I have tons on regal points, which are wasted now. Fun movie grill should seriously think of customer friendly policies if they want to win customers trust

Love this place. Love the respectful customer service here. Plays good Desi movies. Have been here many times and theaters are clean compared to other theatres in Irving, Coppell and Grapevine area. This place haven’t disappointed me. Always enjoy watching movies here with family.

They were very nice and fast with everything. The food was fast and hot and good.
