This is a beautiful little park with a nice lake. There are geese everywhere which the kids love. It has tons of parking. My only complaints are the parking is $7 and that there is goose s*** everywhere. Beautiful park though.

I really enjoyed this park. The ponds and the trails are very nice and well kept.

It was our first visit here and we really enjoyed it. Its a beautiful setting and extremely large enough to keep your social distance. Playgrounds are close to the restrooms which isnt always the case. Bring the kids and some food for an ol fashion picnic. It does get cold at evening so bring your jackets if you plan on staying long. Bring your grandkids too

This public park is gorgeous. It is very well-maintained and a perfect place for a calming walk. The grass is always well-managed and very green. There is a large lake in the middle for a fabulous ambiance and plenty of (aggressive) geese). The bathrooms are clean and open to the public.

Beautiful hikes here with breathtaking views of the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. A lot of tourist come here to get amazing photos, Im from sf so I come here for the hiking and to really just enjoy the nature. There once was a navy base I believe that you can now walk through.Great place to check out whether you are a visitor or you always lived near by

Its a nice park and a great place to ride bikes but they charge a couple bucks for vehicles

This is one beautiful park to spend a chill day. Theres plenty of parking. And the park is huge! Theres theres some playgrounds, but due to the pandemic they are close. Theres plenty of space to have a good time there. There is a nice pond, where geese are chilling. The park was almost empty when we were there.

William R Mason Regional Park is a great medium sized park located in Irvine (university & Culver). Complete with restrooms and shelters with grills, it also offers walking paths and kids playgrounds. The green meadows have volleyball nets and soccer nets as well. Entrance fees are $3 during weekdays and $5 during weekends. No in and out entrance; one time only.

$3 For parking. They take cash or card. Kept really clean and organized. Park trooper on sight. Beautiful views. Good spot for some car photography.

Its a really beautiful place to just hang out with friends and take a stroll. You can all just sit and look at the lake and talk. The lake is really clean and it has ducks and turtles too.

Family and kids friendly, so recommendThere are 3 playground all over the park, two small one for a small kids and one big one for older kids.There are many different kind of ducks, lakes, side walk, bikes road, BBQ places, canopies, sand volleyball courts. Great place for Jogging, running, hiking, walking, playing with your kids and picnics.

This is a beautiful park, not far from my home. The park features a nice lake, many pages and unpaved walkways, picnic tables, grills and plenty of geese: Canada chin strap geese and Egyptian geese. There are also ducks, turtles, cormorants, at least 1 egret, and crows. Today, some people had remote-control sailboats in the lake. Also of note, most people in the park were wearing face masks today.

I have lived next to William R Mason park for over 30 years!! It never stops amazing me just how beautiful this park is in just the space of a few blocks! There are always various cultural events during the spring and summer months. One of my favorite things to do is to watch movies in the park during the summer and lately the city of Irvine has been also programming live music events. Mason park has just about everything you could want to spend quality time with your family and friends. There are playsets and swings for kids, exercise stations for adults and teens. The various water fowel and animals bring a very calming and peaceful energy to this wonderful outdoor space. If youre driving in from outside the local area there is plenty of parking for the small fee of $3. This goes towards keeping the park maintained properly. Plenty of restrooms, barbeques, tables, covered areas etc. If youre just looking for a good place to sit and watch the sunset, I highly recommend enjoying William R Mason park.

Beautiful park in the city of Irvine. Lots of birds,grassy hills, walking path, huge pond. Worth an annual pass.

This park is beautiful! It cost $3 for a day pass or you can purchase a membership to all Orange County Parks. There are several bathrooms that are clean and individual rooms, not stalls. Each door locks securely with a deadbolt. There is a large playground for kids. Dogs are allowed on leash. The outside perimeter is just under 2 miles as a loop. Great place to walk your dogs, go for a run, have a party or some sort of get together. There is plenty of grass area for games if you bring your own equipment. When I have gone, everyone is very polite and courteous of those around them.

Had a Great time for my Cousins Birthday. Only problem was Because of the Shut Downs. Only 3 things were available. Still had a Great time.

Beautiful and huge park, a lot of green area, with grills and benches, enough trees - if you enjoy more being under the shade - plus plenty restrooms... no much people so it is pretty relaxing, I really like it

The park is great except dog poo is every where, walkway and lawn, especially the area near the pond. Keep an eye for dog poo, it appears for every yard you walk.

Very nice park. Came to roller skate and enjoyed all the rolling hills. Awesome. Next time well also try the section across the road.

Really wide open space with lots of walkways circling around a series of lakes. A pretty place to get outdoors and get some exercise, and patrons are very courteous about social distancing and sharing the space safely.

$3 parking on weekdays and $5 on weekends. Holidays can cost $10 for parking. I have her annual pass so it works out nicely.Beautiful park with a nice lake and clean restrooms. The gate attendant is super friendly and there is ample parking. I did about 3 miles walking on the trails. Lots of geese live in the park so watch where you step!It’s a peaceful and well-kept park. Large and well maintained park. Great place for a socially distanced gathering.

This park is big, has lots of playground equipment for kids. Plenty of room to run with great visibility. There are lots of tables for picnics with shade structures. I like the sidewalks going through or even the perimeter of this park for walking to help me maximize my step totals without feeling like Im walking in circles. Nice place

Beautiful, quiet park. Perfect for walking, jogging, skating, biking. Lots of cool birds, the geese seem friendly enough if intimidating. A nice place to park for UCI if you dont mind walking, its about a 20 minute walk from the student center and just $3 for the whole day, and theres always plenty of spaces. The lake is really pretty, sometimes there are people with little sail boats. Lots of tables and benches and its always very clean, including the bathrooms.

Best park around for stroll with dogs, but lots of Canadian geese, with a few of the Egyptian geese in the spring/early summer months. Not too many ducks during this time. All of the pavilions have sinks.

Beautiful park with walkways and a clean pond filled with ducks along with other wildlife. Only bummer was the $5 charge per person to get in. There are other ways to get in without paying (i.e. park further away and walk in), so its not a huge deal. Great place to relax with your SO or kids.

Wonderful, quaint park. The parking fee is only 3$. Theres a huge pond in the center filled with various ducks, geese, and other birds. You might have to wait for some geese to cross before you get to your parking spot! The atmosphere is nice and there is plenty of grass and trees for dogs and humans alike. Theres multiple walking pathways and (I think) 2 playgrounds; could be more. The bathrooms are also clean for park bathrooms. Great for kids, adults, and animals alike.

It is lovely place to get relax. It is huge. You can walk for long hours. There is enterance fee just for vehicles. Ducks are in everywhere so lots of poop are around the lake. Someone has to clean because families come there with children.

First time here, loved it! Great playground and great scenic place to enjoy a cup of coffee as the kiddos play. Great place to walk and or go for a run.

Pretty clean shelters and theres nice playgrounds and a nice lake. It wasnt very crowded when I went and it was a holiday. Theres plenty of tables which I liked. I didnt like the cleanliness of the restrooms though. Four stars because of it. Overall, a decent nice park.

Nice outing for family

Close to where my wife grew up, we go here regularly for long peaceful walks. Has a few parks for the kids which is nice. Also a large pond where you’ll see plenty of wildlife.

I love this park, but is very dirty. It is hard to walk because of the amount of geese poop...I used to go a lot, but now not much because of that.

This park is so open and beautiful for being in the middle of a city. I live across from it and I take my son here frequently. They have multiple playgrounds and picnic areas. Good for working out, jogging, dog walking, etc. There are a lot of geese, ducks, turtles, and other birds here so it is wonderful for the whole family. People often have birthday parties here. One of the best parks around here.

I had a great time at this park! The lake is very beautiful and relaxing, and its a great place to have a picnic! Before coming to this park, I had never gone on a picnic before, but after having one here, I cant wait to come back. The area is just so wonderful and the atmosphere is amazing.

Large and beautiful park with a couple of lakes and children’s playgrounds. It has huge shelters for celebrating birthdays or weddings. We love to spend time there with friends and family, doing barbecue and playing ball.

Quiet, Serene and picturesque park in Irvine. Always have been familys favorite. We visit it often. The park has picnic tables, a beautiful pond, gazebos to host your family events etc. Love it. Must visit.

This park would be fantastic if it werent for the goose / duck / dog poop covering nearly every square inch of the sidewalks, and who knows how much of the grass. Seriously, the city needs to clean it up. It has to be a health hazard.
