I went to the City County Building to participate in one of the most important processes that we possess in America; the right to vote! I found this location to be very organized and peaceful. Orderly. I was approached by several volunteers representing various candidates from both political parties. The wait in line was short and moved efficiently. I am grateful for the site being accessible.

Great 360 view of the city from here. Large space to move around too. And you can’t beat the fact that it’s totally free.

Great free way to see the downtown area

I discovered this gem via TripAdvisor, and got to check it out as a tourist. Surprised a friend of mine who lived in the Indianapolis area for many years but had never heard of it. The only real issue I had was that some of the instructions said to use a specific entrance into the City-County building; this isnt true, you can go through any public entrance, just be sure to be prepared to remove your jacket and things from pockets (similar to an airport) and be sure to use the provided bins as one of the security guys seemed a bit sensitive about that.Otherwise theres a very clear sign indicating the service elevator used to reach the deck, and the operator on duty the day we were there was a very nice man who was happy to tell us about some of the upcoming events. It was a gloomy day but still fantastic views from up top, and a whole lot of interesting historical displays that included some through-the-ages maps of various areas, including the convention center and airport. Absolutely worth checking out at least once, and keep an eye out for other special events where theyre open later than the normal posted hours.

I had a blast getting reemed by the city. Who doesnt enjoy paying bs tickets, being overcharged by lawyers, and overpaying for copies. Best visit yet. 5 stars for the ability the employees have at keeping a straight face while they get off on causing misery
