Good selection, the prices are much better compared to phantom that I went to first. I ended up just picking up a few things for the kids, but the prices are fair on the larger items (500g cakes) if using the 20% coupon at the register. I would go back again if they have a sale or coupons for sure. I would call and ask before arriving.

Ive been loyal for over 8 years and counting. you will not find a better price anywhere in the state that is a guarantee unless youre buying direct wholesale from the warehouses. I am constantly stalking all their competition to check out their prices and see if theyre in any way shape or form comparable and I can guarantee that they are not. The staff is always friendly and always willing to help with any questions or even displays if you go on the right nights. For what it cost to go out and buy some black widows by RGS you can buy two packs of Excalibur. The same goes for Zeus, king of gods. Excalibur is a much higher quality than both of those. Even if its a long drive from you its worth the trip and you will not regret it.

Best place to buy fireworks. This is my second year going there and the staff is awesome and very helpful. Very good prices and large selection as well I might even make a second trip before the 4th!

Ive been coming to Jakes for about three years now. This year I drove down from Noblesville past countless other Buy one get 5 free strip mall shops. The truth is, Jakes has the best prices on great quality fireworks youre going to find. Plus, the folks working there are awesome. They usually have some good deals going on if you just ask. I bought a sizable load for the 4th this year and when I got home they had thrown in several free items that I didnt even see when they were bagging it up! Thanks, guys! This is the reason I keep coming back.PS: Dont overlook the 1 canister shells in the poly bag. Theyre awesome for the price!

Good selection of small and large fireworks at good prices for the general consumer in a building that appears to formerly be a restaurant (Chi-Chis?) that is not kept up real well and not air conditioned. There are a very limited number, mishmash of shopping carts. Hours are much reduced compared to Phantom Fireworks. There was a supply issue that reduced inventory June/July 2018. I highly recommend buying the Excalibur mortar shells. There is a nice pack of single, double, and triple breaks...cannot remember the name though. Ask about any freebies they have during checkout. Sometimes there are punks, firecrackers, and coupon freebies.

My son and I are long time customers of Jakes and its the best place to buy fireworks in the Indianapolis area. Jakes has top notch managers in Allan and Lisa. They are very nice people and have been very helpful to me over the years. Due to illness, I was not able to do the shopping this year with my son but my wife went in my place and Allan and Lisa went above and beyond in helping them. Jakes has the highest quality fireworks and the best prices in this area and is the best stocked fireworks store as well.

My experience is always fantastic at Jakes!They only have one store in Indianapolis and its a little tricky to turn into, but its WELL WORTH IT !! They have the BEST prices on the best product in the state and even have coupons/deals on top of that. It sounds corny, but I truly promise I get the Best bang for the buck! The same couple have managed the store for the last 5 years. They remember me and greet me warmly each time I walk in. Jakes World Class has some of the best fireworks available. I always pick up a couple cases of Excal shells and whatever new cakes they have. Great prices, and friendly staff.Update 2018: Over the past year, things have seemed to really go downhill at this Jakes location. There was very limited selection, and much of the product looked old. Hopefully they can straighten things out and start carrying the new products. Also get back the full selection of mortar shells. Until then, I will be shopping elsewhere.
