Love Comedy Sportz. Always loved their in person shows, but am loving the virtual home edition shows via Zoom during quarantine - a fun way to spend an hour!

So much fun! Ive been here 2x and each time I had a lot of fun and some good laughs.

Fun way to spend a few hours downtown indy. Great to go to before or after dinner. Although they do a small menu you could eat or snack there.

Fun place! Came here for date night and feel the food and drinks are reasonably priced. We got the date night package and really appreciated the refillable popcorn and soda. The comedy was awesome and I was impressed with how good everyone was! Enjoyed both the 7:30 and 10 o’clock events

This is an awesome family outing. Hoping to catch a 17+ show soon, but either way they will have you laughing and blow you away with their quick witted antics!

Love this place! Family friendly. They keep the language and content clean for the earlier shows and have an over 17 show at 10pm. The players are really good - so much fun to laugh with them.. Very interactive . Excellent beer selection. Concession food is decent. Popcorn is always a good choice. There were 2 birthday party groups the last time I was there. What a great place to celebrate with friends. Highly recommend!

Weve visited comedy sports twice. It was a blast. Its a small club. You get to interact with the comics. It was a blast!

Absolutely loved it! went with wife for a date and we both were laughing and enjoying the improv. Bar food as well as theatre treats availabe for purchase. The audience participation is mostly the audience as a group. What I really appreciated is that it was a very clean PG performance. Very hard to find good clean commedy around but here they have it. Thank you! they do have a later adult only show that Im guessing isnt clean, but the 7:30pm Friday one is what we went to.

Saturday Oct. 5, 2019, Was the first time Wed ever gone, and It was the first time Id ever been to a comedy club at all. We had an awesome time! And were already making plans of going back.

It was a great experience, I went with my theatre class, they were funny and interacted with the audience really well

It was a great venue and show would go again.

Awesome place. Its improv comedy setup like a sporting event. Always a fun time. Many shows are all ages and kids love it.

This was an amazing fun time! Even my 16 and 17 year olds laughed the whole time! Highly recommend and cant wait to go back! They dont seem to advertise that they do serve food and beer at a reasonable price.

Hilarious! Great family fun. My husband and I laughed the whole time there and on the way home. The people are really nice. The place is clean and spacious. Kid friendly too.You get a free ticket for your birthday. So we will be going back in April with pur birthday tickets.

Great time! Hilarious group who know there stuff, and made their comedy fresh and clean for family night.Masters of Improv - Highly recommended, we went Saturday night 7-9pm.

This was my first time here and I had a lot of fun and many laughes. I didnt know what to expect initially, but the whole performance was very entertaining. The early evening show was also very family friendly, with nothing that could seem even remotely offensive to anyone. The amount of different things games the teams chose from was quite expansive, so I could easily see myself going back and all the material still being new and fresh.

Ive been here twice now and the first time was better. Im an improviser and understand it doesnt have to be funny but comedy is I the title. I commend the players because improv is not easy but most of the jokes didnt land or werent funny.

I first heard of ComedySportz when I signed up for improv classes. Stage and comedy are definitely a career path I want to pursue, so i was interested in learning some techniques to help me improve my abilities. First of All, the classes themselves are fantastic. Team building, educational, and by the time class is over every week, I never want to leave.As for the actual comedy shows here, they are fantastic! The staff is super accommodating and generous. The acts themselves are hilarious and i couldnt stop laughing and having a great time. Now that I have started going, it will probably be my regular weekend night outing. Highly recommended.

A definite hidden gem in Indianapolis. We had never heard of this place. My husband was browsing to find things to do in Indy. This sounded unique and fun. It was wonderful! A lot like the old show “who’s line was it anyways”. The staff was very entertaining and courteous. There is PG show around 7:30pm. The adult show starts at 10 PM. They also were very well organized, and got the audience involves a lot! It was wonderful. Will be going back!

I take my son and we will definitely be back again parking was hard to find as usual down in Indianapolis area at that time that really enjoyed the crowd I liked it they went outside and break so you can go out and talk to him and and tell him how funny they were and it was really nice to spend time and food was great

Very fun! Good for you guys children, but would not recommend the matinee shows for anyone older than 12.

A very different take on comedy clubs. It was a fun and engaging time. We will go back again.

My opinion is not enough for this place!! I have been coming here sense I was 5 years old!!! Comedy Sportz is amazing for all ages!!! Great place to come for your birthday!! The late night show is always a GO TO for us when we need to get out of the house without kids!!!

Hilarious, family friendly, and affordable.

The comedy is meh okay would be more funny with more beer. They have 1 person walking around taking orders for 50 people thats not enuff. Would be way better with a dedicated window to order. In the 2 ish hours we were there I saw the order server 2 times once to order a beer then when the show was over to cash out. If you want more then one beer just get a bucket.

Super fun, funny and really energetic. Exactly what you would want from an improv comedy group but, they also serve food and its not half bad :) The group will participate but participation isnt forced so thats nice for the introverts that need a laugh, too.

Take their level 1 class, it is awesome. All their shows are fun. I get a kick out of going every time. My only criticism is they should add grilled cheese to the menu. Everything is better with grilled cheese.

Family-friendly improv comedy performed by two teams competing for points awarded by audience participation. An intimate theater, simple stadium-type food (popcorn, hot dogs, soft drinks and beer) and laughter with friends makes a great night out.

Had a great time here with my friends and really enjoyed the show. we went to the 7:30 one and it was definitely family friendly as well. Will hopefully be back next time I am in Indy.

Some skits werent funny, and they have a limited menu. Other than those 2 things we had a great time, and got a good laugh out of most of the skits. Definitely will be back.

A great way to just relax and laugh whether it be at the all ages shows with my kids or the 10:00pm shows for adults. It has just the right combination of wit and silliness.

Fantastic time, high energy improv that really gets the crowd into it. Regular shows are completely family friendly and a foul will be called on the performers, and audience if they violate that. You will have to endure a bag on your head. Even clean they manage to make you laugh....hard. 5 beers for 16 bucks, a great cheap night out.

We always find comedy shows to go to whenever we travel, this one is just so-so. Not all that funny, and too much instruction from the Ref. The worst game was Scoop it, as soon as the team get the scene going the other team would scoop an idea and take over, totally changing the scene to something else. Not funny at all.

Just smart comedy delivered with perfect timing.

Very cool room and shows. This place screams comedy (sometimes literally).Bathrooms are excellent condition with trinkets on the walls. 2 ply toilet paper.

Hilarious, fast-paced, family-friendly improv. Its very affordable and worth every penny for this talented ensemble of improvisers. Plus, Indianapolis won the ComedySportz World Championship that was hosted here in Indy this year!

Great family entertainment!

I love coming to ComedySportz and have been for years. As with any true improv, the show is largely different each time. Games may repeat, but the players and results always change. Most hit the mark, some are close but still a good laugh. My favorites are by far the adults only shows, especially when they do the adults only takes on their all ages show. The audience in these is sometimes predictable, but the players are really good at still making it work.I love the price, entertainment, and consistently friendly staff. Its always a place I recommend to family that come visit and Im sure to be a customer for a long time.

Great night out with the kids. We laughed and had an amazing time. Even my 16 and 17 year olds enjoyed it. They keep asking to go again. Considering it was cheaper than taking them to see a movie, we will definately be returning.The food was ok and reasonably priced, and the service friendly. Highly recommend.

Not for adults. Very disappointing.

If you have never seen live improv, then you have no idea what you are missing. Similar to the style of Whos Line is it Anyways?, teams of pro comedy sports athletes compete in hilarious improv games aimed at leaving you in stitches. Its a great family-friendly place to go and have a laugh, but they also provide shows that are ages 17 and up which include more crude humor. The food is good, the humor is great, but the venue is pretty small and cramped which is why I am only giving it 4 stars.

This place is absolutely fantastic, very affordable, and the comedy is wonderful. A great place for birthday parties or dates, for almost any event.

This is a fun time. If you enjoy improv comedy you will enjoy this place. The staff is also very good they keep your drink full and alway have a smile.
