This venue is just fun. The decor and lights as you enter and ascend the stairs as well as the eclectic collection of oil lamps lit all around make such an inviting atmosphere. The showroom and the bathrooms were spotless and so clean. I love that! My rating is because Im pretty sure there was no alcohol in any drink we ordered. Get bottled beer.

This was a very fun place to go to. Just a heads up that there is a two-drink minimum in the showroom even if you purchase the guaranteed close seats. Place was relatively clean and service was pretty quick. Comedy was pretty good for a Saturday evening. It did get full so purchase tickets ahead of time. And especially if it is one of their big shows. There were three acts on the Saturday night with each act getting longer and longer. It is definitely for more mature adults with some of the material that was used to. However a good time. Its a small venue to get into and then it opens into a decent-size Auditorium.

This establishment is very nice but the lady at the front counter was kinda rude. Enjoyed the open mic. Comedian Big Daddy Ice was the funniest.

Check out their open mics on Tuesdays. Order tickets online ahead of time. They do have a 2 item minimum but if you frequent clubs- this is normal. Great ambiance. It is upstairs.

Went here on a date and sat close. The staff was friendly and the acts were funny. There is a two drink minimum which was fine with me as I had more anyhow but some may not like that much. The environment was really cool and the intimate setting made the jokes that much funnier. Check the place out for a few good laughs

Wife and I went to early show on Saturday. Sat front and center at the stage, wait staff got to us early. We got poppers and nachos, neither of which are going to win anyone James Beard awards, but were as good as is expect from a comedy club. The cocktails were good, I had 3 Long islands and she had 3 different drinks. They all had good taste and were decently stiff. The host was funny, as were the openers. Pat Dixon was the headliner and crushed. We will be making this a more frequent date night.

This is a great place to unwind, have a few drinks and enjoy some great comedians. The owner went out of her way to take care of my wife who has back issues and found her the most comfortable seat in the house. I highly recommend Crackers Comedy Club and it will be a regular date night spot for my wife and I!

Downtown Crackers has always been a great spot to catch a few laughs. This is the first time I went on a Thursday and was a little shocked at how few people were there... just 9 people. But, to their credit, the comics hit the stage with the same energy as a Friday night packed house.

Nice thin crowd. No lines, no wait. This is how nightlife should be.

First time Ive been since they moved. Even though it takes a while to get your drinks, I had a great time. I just ordered 2 so I did t have to worry. They get some great performers there, so Ive never had a bad time

Had a great time! I was surprised by the quality of some of the comics even on Open Mic Night.Note: it you wait you buy your tickets on location, you will be required to pay in CASH. This, especially during a global pandemic, is the only drawback worth speaking of.

Not as great as the former Crackers in Broad Ripple. Service and drinks were good. Comedy was good, but slow to start.

To be honest, I usually go to Mortys, but changed venues once finding out that Mortys is currently closed. This was my first time there and the upstairs looks pretty seedy when you first walk up, but the actual sit down area was nice, the comedians were hilarious, and the bill wasnt outrageous. We DEFINITELY enjoyed ourselves and well be returning!

Let me start by saying Im a very mild tempered man not easily angered by people and their actions or words but last night my wife and I were a party of 8 out for dinner and a night of laughter for my wifes birthday party we arrived at the comedy club plenty early for our 9:30 show as they started letting people in to be seated everyone was herded into a tiny hallway out of a tiny waiting room and our party was broken up my wife and I at the head of the line tried to explain to the lady seating everyone that there were 6 more of us further back in line and would like to be seated together and the lady began to be extremely rude and raise her voice talking to 6 of our party members at this point because they heard the lady hollering at us when I asked to speak to her manager she proceeded to get in face and tell me I quote honey Im the owner I was shocked to say least I was ready to leave but my wife wanted to stay because 6 of our closest friends came from all over the state for this night but after the show all of us were in agreement that none of us will ever go back nor recommend this place due to the owner not the staff they all seemed to be generally sorry for the way we were treated

Went to Crackers for the first time last week. It was an all around great experience! Friendly staff and hilarious entertainment.

After a misunderstanding attempting to use a Groupon for tickets, the club reached out to me to directly and comped me tickets to a later show to set things right. Well done- my wife and I are looking forward to attending the show in February

I cracked up at Crackers ! New downtown location. The parking meter right by the building wasnt working so we had to go across the street. Small and intimate. 2 drink minimum .17 and over can attend.

The manager is incredibly rude. You are not allowed to laugh at the comedians. We took another couple as a double date....their 1 st time experience and it was absolutely horrible. Im not surprised they have been closing other locations down. We will NEVER return.

This club does NOT deserve your business! And NEVER eat anything from their kitchen unless you planned on ordering food poisoning.Their owner/management is an absolute disgrace and terminated a kitchen worker who is a disabled Army veteran after going to the emergency room with a 103° fever a couple of weeks before the state was ordered to shelter in place.They have zero respect for health standards let alone respect for military veterans.

Excellent show and staff. They were quick at seating us and getting our drinks ordered. They were a little slow about getting checks cleared but all in all, they exceeded my expectations. I will definitely go here again. They also offer free general admission with military ID. The drinks also seemed a little weak, but I dont drink often so not 100%

Was good and fun. There was a short opening act and then a main act. Cant just the venue entirely on the performer but think they did well too. Dont opt for the premium seats, there are 10 seats right at the stage that put the Comedians crotch right in your face.The waitress was quick with the drinks.

The owner in downtown Indianapolis was the WORST person I think I have ever came in contact with. To continue business and achieve better reviews she needs to be kept behind the scenes and not working the floor. She was not only extremely rude/aggressive to me, my friends and family but was rude to everyone else she came in contact with. The staff was great and came up immediately after and apologized for her actions and the comedians were hilarious but her actions definitely ruined the first half of the show for us and came every close to leaving. I know this isn’t the first review I’ve seen of this nature so I really hope the message is clear to this woman and something makes her change her attitude and customer service “skills”.

A nice place to go for comedy in downtown Indianapolis. There is a 2 drink minimum per person but they have some non-alcoholic options for around $3 and then beer, wine and mixed drinks ranging from $4-$9. There is a food menu of mostly fried items, so if you want a more substantial dinner, eat before you come. Its a small venue, but that makes you feel very close to the performance.

After the second horrible experience there, we will never be going back. I am surprised that with 2 other comedy clubs downtown competing for business that Crackers doesnt seem to care about customer service. We tried to call and make reservations and had passes given to us. The lady who answered the phone said to show up and come to the desk. When we get to the desk, she tells us we needed reservations. Her attitude was horrible and this was after being treated poorly on another occasion there. Safe to say that we are done with this venue.

I was very disappointed with the way my friends and I were treated on a night out to celebrate my birthday. The comedian was absolutely terrible and you could have heard a pin drop. We were thrown out and the waitress told me to shut the f up when I was explaining that we were not being disruptive!

ABSOLITELY AMAZING NIGHT. Havent had a laugh like that in a long time. Thanks Crackers Comedy Club. 2 out of 2 experiences both were 5 stars.

Good comedy club. Typically 3 comedians per show. Which first comedian isnt the greatest. Requires 2 drink minimum. Beer prices pretty decent. Offers beer and liquor. Typically not very crowded. Street parking is available with paid lot parking right next door.

Amazing place to review new comics and see seasoned comics try out new material. Staff is always awesome. Totally understand why they have been around so long.

Pretty sure all 3 times I’ve been there I’ve had issues with the lady at the front desk. This time I got a call for 6 free tickets, just had to call and make the reservation. I make the reservation for 6. Show up and because I didn’t answer my phone from a random number to “confirm” I had 6 people earlier in the day, she only had a reservation for 1 and would not let the rest of the party in. But it wasn’t just that, it’s her attitude that was just garbage. Wouldn’t go back even with free tickets..

Well, our group was having a good time but our group was kicked out for being loud (laughing ). So we got kicked out. The manager was horrible, red headed woman. She was horrible!!! Comedy clubs are fun but not here. Well crackers we are done here!youScott

The cashier was really rude and disrespectful, I recommend you go somewhere else and spend your money at a better place. Honestly a waste of time, if I could I’d give a negative amount of stars lol. On a serious note don’t come here, terrible service and disrespectful employees.

I’ve been coming to crackers for years, since they were in the Taps and Dolls location. My friends drove a few hours to come enjoy a birthday celebration as well as St.Pattys day. 4 of our 6 guest had arrived so we talked to a hostess about possibly seating our additional guest around us when they arrived since there was plenty of room, which she kindly agreed to. We simply asked because of noting the signage that parties must be sat together but ALSO all reservations are void 10 minutes prior to showtime. When the 2 girls arrived it was 20 minutes past showtime, the lights were still on and there were 4 empty tables around us. The hostess that had said she would seat our guest with us and move us was bypassed by the owner who spoke aggressively to us and told us the hostess was wrong and all of those other tables were “reserved.” (no one sat at those tables.) A couple beside us kindly slid over and allowed everyone to sit together after the owner embarrassing us and making a scene. After the show began our waitress told us she was on the verge of walking out... which we never saw her again so i’m guessing it indeed happened. This left us waiting 20 minutes after the show to collect our checks that gratuity was added to while the owner walked around holding her dog. Safe to say I will never return, or encourage any of my friends to see a show. So disappointed.

The comedy was SO FUNNY!!! BUT, the waitstaff we had was horrible. Our waitress didnt give us our drinks for over an hour. She had simply forgot, didnt apologize for it. Since its a 2 drink minimum our second round of drinks not all of them were given. The comedy agin was great, but the waitress we had was so rude and terrible.

Had a good time. Place is small. Comedian was ok. First 2 were not very good. Drinks were expensive . Very clean, great service, staff was very friendly. Would recommend for a fun night out in Indianapolis.

I went here because I was given a Groupon for it. I had a great time! You must be at least 17 to attend a show and must purchase at least 2 beverages. Mixed drinks range in price from $7.25 to $9.00 and they are delicious. The sodas and bottled water were around $2.50 a piece. For a 90 minute show, my date and I each got 3 mixed drinks and split a snack. I ended up paying $55 before the tip for this date.There was a limited selection of food options which in my opinion were overpriced, but it was well made. I recommend that you eat dinner before you come here because the servings are very small.There are speakers in the restrooms which I think is a brilliant idea. You dont have to choose between missing the show and holding it in.Overall, there were great drinks, excellent wait staff, and fantastic comedians. I will definitely be coming back here in the future.

This was only my second visit to Crackers and Ive only been to 3 other comedy clubs so take this for what its worth. This was an experience from January, 2019. The tables are very close inside the building, I was maybe 6 inches from the table to my left and felt like I was riding in the backseat of a motorcycle with the person in front of me; so close my knees were under the coat hanging off the back of their seat. There is a 2 drink minimum, which I hear is standard but makes the place seem cheap. Just up the price of the ticket and do away with the mandatory drinks, dont force someone to buy something they dont want.We had a table of 4. The opener came and went and so did the first listed comedian. We watched as the wait staff hit all the tables around us but never actually games to ours. The second comedian was about 5 minutes into their set and we began to worry as drinks and food came out everywhere. We thought we would be charged for not getting any drinks so one of our party went to find someone, missing part of the show. The waitress came by and asked which table we were, where are drinks were and why we hadnt said anything before. She then left without taking our orders. Another waitress came and finally took them. We received them without only minutes left in the set and had each had to shoot 2 drinks because there was a later show starting moments after ours ended.It wasnt a great experience. The comedians were good but the place was tight, dark and kinda dirty. The drinks were very expensive for what you get too, not worth the price.

Comedians were great! Didnt like the 2 drink minimum at those prices! And the fact that they got my dates drink Huricane wrong twice!! She just got a Miller Lite after 2 drinks wrong. Nice place and service other than that.

Service was pretty bad. We were only served one time across 3 commedians! We wanted to have more, but I guess not. The commedians were pretty blah as well. Wish I would have went somewhere else for a Saturday night.

Local comedy makes a great date night! Crackers features comedians from around the nation, and features a full bar, to deliver a night you wont forget. If you spend time in broad ripple, or want a reason to come out to the rich nightlife, treat yourself to a night of laughs.

We alway have a good time at Crackers. Last weekend we had so much fun on our double date with good friends. Love that we can go out and have a good time without breaking the bank.

Very fun place, I didnt give a 5 star because they dont have a free parking lot. The parking machine next to the place wasnt working, we had to download an app and pay 20 bucks. Other than that, it was pretty good. My wife and I really liked the banana split frozen cocktail.

Great experience every time I have been. You do have to order 2 drinks (I believe), but I personally just associate that as the cost of going. Food is alright, nothing special, but a good compliment to the show.Make sure you you pay for the parking and put the paper in your dash. We misunderstood and the night ended up being a bit more expensive than we thought it would be.

Great show. One guy used a hot word and was off before he started. But the open mic night was a blast. This new comic, Matt Pelsor, had me crying laughing.

Sandra and Marietta had a great time walking to Crackers Comedy Club, downtown. The show was excellent, cocktails prepared as requested. However those were not waffle fries!!

Fun experience overall, some of the staff wasn’t very friendly and the entry/exit between shows could use some work, it’s pretty claustrophobic for the amount of people. Waitress was good but my card got double charged, called my bank and got it sorted out so you may want to check your account the next day or just pay cash. Show was really good and I’d still come back here.

Love this place! Staff are nice and helpful! An evening here is great to enjoy with a another friend to a large group of friends or family! I definitely recommend going to a show at this venue!

You cant go wrong with stand-up comedy. Good location and excellent service, the only bummer was the cash only tickets (they take cards inside for drinks/food).

Last Saturday my girlfriend and I were taken to a table for the 7PM show, some distance from the stage. We stood for a moment, looking toward an area closer to the stage, where weve sat frequently, to see if a spot might be open there. The owner, Ruth Ann (?sp), immediately came up and said words to the effect of: you dont choose your seats, we choose where you sit, in a very unfriendly way. For emphasis she slapped the table a couple of times. She continued giving this order, while we barely got a word out, until we sat.Ive been going to Crackers for 30 years; its always been great fun, until now. Both of us were really uncomfortable, and thought about leaving.

Do not buy the Groupon!!! They will not let you use it. I asked both Groupon and Crackers for a refund and neither company will refund my money back to me. Such a scam!!!!!! I will never use either one of these companies.
