Took my husband for his 77th birthday plus 6 other family members. They all did this before but we had not. My husband said it was one of the best birthdays hes ever had. We did the Amazon room on September 2nd. Now were booking another room for my daughters birthday on September 12th.Cant wait we had so much fun. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We are so excited about going back.

Fun escape room! We did the Fortune Teller room which was a fairly difficult room. The puzzles we had to figure out were challenging and made us think outside the box. Finished that room with 11 minutes remaining. Fun room! Definitely will be going back to try a new room!

Very Fun! We will absolutely be going back again to try a different room. It was challenging and made all of us think in ways I dont think we knew we could. The person assisting us was also very nice and gave us hints when we were totally lost! 10/10

We did the Amazon Adventure room. It was really good and challenging for all of our very analytical adult children. I only wish they had more rooms since weve done them all.

Had a blast for my sons 13th bay. All the boys left in awe at how much fun they had. Fun and challenging for all ages!

It was fun but I wish they could adjust the time for the number of people attending. It will take more people less time and less people more time. Giving a standard 1 hour no matter what doesnt work well.

This was a new experience and a ton of fun!!! I would recommend having at least 4 people in your group!

Staff was amazing and super helpful. The puzzles were the right combination of fun and difficult. If you need a hint they are there to assist. It was awesome and we will be returning

My husband took our son who happens to have High Functioning Autism. We called ahead to get some details-they were very accommodating to what was expected and what room they would recommend. They have detailed facts on their website that helped us tremendously. Telling my son what to expect when going to a new place helps him cope with his anxiety. My husband and I both felt that he was very prepared when going to the escape room. The room they suggested was perfect and not overwhelming for my son. They came home both excited and elated to return. As a mom with a child with autism I would highly recommend Idaho Escape rooms to anyone. One fact we did not know is that it was just my husband and son in the room. Knowing this helped that if my son couldn’t tolerate the activity other people would not have their time wasted or ruined. This also helped because my son does not do good in a competition setting.My son and husband got to move in a manner that was comfortable to them without feeling rushed. My son knowing that he could leave the room at any time was very comforting as well. No they did not finish the escape but they can go back to finish it at a later time and they are both very excited to do so. Thank you so much Idaho escape rooms and I do highly recommend for families with autism this is a safe place to have a great time!

Awesome place. Staff is every friendly. Rooms are challenging and interesting. Well put-together. Very creative puzzles! Parking isnt great, and with the one-way streets around it, it can be a pain in the butt, but that shouldnt reflect negatively upon the business.

We had 4 adults and 5 kids and it was sooooo fun. I would encourage everyone to try it at least once. We are going to come back and see if we can do our next room without any clues. ;)

Took two people through the Contagion room. Finished with literally 15 seconds left on the clock. Very clever riddles and problems to solve. Highly recommend.

Took my parents to this shindig. Said they were anticipating hating it. By the end she was loving it. Place is a great way to spend some time!

Super fun, we did the Amazon room and got out just in time. The locks were a little overused and a little hard to see where the numbers/letters lined up. But it was super creative, and had tons of puzzles to solve!

The Contagion Outbreak room was in great shape, well-designed, and the clue support staff were perfectly timed.

Amazon Adventure was great! Puzzles were challenging without being frustrating. It was fun for the whole family.

We wanted something fun that a group of 13 year olds could do for a birthday party. I called ahead before booking online and asked for a room recommendation for 13 year olds. The gentlemen gave us a recommendation of Area 51. The kids had a great time! The hour flew by. We did escape with just a minute to spare. The staff was friendly and willing to give fun clues. We played the Fortune Tellers Parlor room, and it was a lot of fun. The puzzles were challenging, but all made sense and were solvable. We asked for two clues at different times in the game; Both clues showed us that we were on the right track with our puzzle, but had missed something minor.The staff were not very energetic and enthusiastic as I have seen in other escape rooms, and their improved energy would have added to the experience. The game also said it was for 2-6 players. I would not do it with more than 4. It was a very small room, and if we had six adults we would have been packed like sardines.Overall, this game was a good value and we would return.

A fun challenging place for work or family. We go every year at Thanksgiving with the family. Great fun.

One of the most entertaining and fun activities Ive done with friends in a very long time. So much better than sitting and watching a movie. The puzzles were great and our guide was perfect. Very highly recommend!

Fun! Fun! Fun! The staff is amazing and super friendly. Weve gone twice and its been stressful- high energy- excitement! Weve cleared both with a little time to spare, but we were sweating it. I dont know how they come up with those, but its a blast! Great for a group of friends or employees working together. Well keep coming back!

This was a great family activity! Just challenging enough to make us think through the clues and have to work to get out.

Amazingly awesome! A fantastic teambuilding activity with a serious mental workout, something everyone should try at least once, and completion was so so satisfying. This was my 2nd time, and Ill definitely be back for the other scenarios.

Awesome fun in Area 51. It was totally worth it and would highly recommend it. The reason it got docked a star was because we asked for clues twice as part of the challenge and both times we asked the room guide took forever to respond. He after told us he was emailing.... not cool. It would have greatly improved our experience had the workers been in character too, that wouldve taken it to the next level.

We have done every single room here, and they all are AMAZING!!! Challenging, creative, unique and soooooo fun!

They have the best escape rooms in south east Idaho! We have done all of them and can’t wait for their new room! Contagion was our favorite but it was so hard to choose because they are all so good!

My company sent all the administration staff here in teams competing against each other as an exercise on working together. Ill admit that I didnt want to participate as puzzle based activities arent my strength. Im happy I went. I was able to use my strengths I do have to help the team finish the puzzles to escape the room in the allotted time. The staff was very friendly. Instructions were clear. Building is well kept. I recommend this place for groups to get together and have a fantastic time. You wont be disappointed!

What an awesome fun and slightly stressful (in a good good way) experience! if you want to have fun with a small group of close friends I suggest you go and enjoy yourself its well worth the price! Great value, totally so much fun. go now you! heard me I said go now!

Our neighbours have been very good to us and we decided to take them and their 3 kids for a surprise visit to the Escape Rooms Area 51. We had a great time, enjoyed solving the good puzzles, used the great clues we were given, and finally solved it with only 39 seconds to spare. BUT... having been in escape rooms in other states, the decor in the room was very disappointing... No thought or imagination was put into it, and it simply took away from the overall experience, ambience and atmosphere. I guess it makes it easy for them to switch rooms/themes, but for me and my wife, it wasnt enough. Will we come here again? Probably not. We will try other escape rooms in other places and towns, and hope we will get the full experience there.

Ive been to a few escape rooms before and this one was really cool. The themes are fun and the puzzles are unique. Its a great way to spend the evening.

Fun puzzles and challenging obstacles

Had fun with this one. I was getting burned-out on escape rooms, but one of the rooms at this place gave me a little spark that they are not all the same. Other places seem to have created rooms that you can not do with time allotted without help. As someone who doesnt like hints, this makes them impossible. The room here, at this place, felt like hard enough, but enough time without hints if you cared to.

Fun; some friends and I went to and had so much fun; trying to figure out what to do and they help with clues if you want and any issues to help you along the way thanks to an ADHD friend and a organizer we managed to finish with 2:37 left

A ton of fun! Barely escaped with 1 minute and 10 seconds left. Highly recommend it. We did the Area 51 scenario.

Very fun! My husband and 7 year old aon and I did the Family Jewels room. We had another couple with us and it was great! Very well done with clear instructions and good hints when asked for.

Its nice to have a date night that isnt a movie. Lots of fun interaction during the puzzle solving. We havent done all the rooms yet, but they have (or will have) 4 rooms. You should reserve your spot beforehand just in case they are booked. For my genius husband and I it was about $30. You can rent out privately for $110 but we had fun meeting new people and working together.

This is a great place to go! It is a nice change from the usual date of group activity! My wife and I went there. We really enjoyed ourselves and got to know 3 other individuals that were put in our group and we escaped with only a couple minutes left before time ran out and the virus killed everyone! It was fun. We will be back!

This is a good, fun thing to do with friends or family. Yes it can get a little pricey if youre paying for a family. The puzzles are challenging without being impossible.

Held an office get together here. It was fun and we all had a good time. Its a great team building exercise, and the price is reasonable. The employees all talked about going back with their friends and significant others.

I did the Family Jewels escape room for a first date. I felt like it went off awesome. Like we both have a lot of fun we were kinda able to see how we work together. Like I didnt feel awkward or anything was just kind of a fun activity and we got to know each other it was a really good thing to do for a first date.

Very well done puzzles, the owners design the rooms and it has been wonderful. Four possible experiences to try, I would recommend calling ahead and setting a reservation to ensure you get the room and time you want.

Ive never done one of these before, but we had a great time with four adults and three children including an infant. Everyone had fun and everyone helped solve at least one puzzle. Hints on demand as we wanted them, it was really cool. We will probably go again.

Our first time through (Contagion puzzle) was a surprisingly good time. It was like playing live-action MYST. Puzzles were well thought-out and had a great variety of difficulty and approaches to solving. Well definitely be back to try the other rooms.

We reserved two private rooms and had an amazing time with friends and family. Challenging and fun and not your average date night. Highly recommended!!
