The Buried Alive room is awesome. Very well thought out and a fun challenge. Small amount of space to work in. We had four people in our group and any more would have been hard in the small amount of space given.Was definitely a great fun date night experience! We are excited to come back and try the other room! Thanks for a great night!

Buried alive was a TON of fun! My office crew and I participated in both of the escape rooms and my team got to do the spooky buried alive room. The point it to escape the boxes and the room... but once you escape the boxes, that is only the beginning. I can’t wait to come do it again.

This place was incredible! Our friend group did both the bank heist and the Buried Alive one and LOVED IT!! I like that its not just can you solve the riddles to get out its get out, and also heres a second quest to earn bonus points. Fantastic group event! Do it!

By far the best escape room Ive been to! Very individually inclusive and fun for everyone. We did the Buried alive escape room and had so much fun. The employees and manager were very accommodating and kind. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone looking for a truly good escape room.

This was by far the best escape room ever. Best service, recommend 10/10 would and have come again and again. I have never been more astounded, stumped impressed and full of excitement ever for any other escape room.

Definitely one of the best escape rooms we have been too, everything was fun and the hints were given in a role-play type manner so it felt as if it was part of the game. The building looks small from the outside but the adventure is huge. The person who was our guide was extremely fun and even recommended other fun escape room businesses as well. It made for a great anniversary date

We did the Bank Heist escape room with two other couples. It was such a fun date night! It was well planned and out and creative! It was challenging, and as a result we didn’t get as far as we wanted to the first time, but we couldn’t wait to go back and try again. The second time around was just as fun.

This was our first time as a family to an escape room and we loved the bank heist room. We didnt get anywhere close to getting the loot but we had a great time working together to decipher clues and find unexpected hiding places. Lots of fun!

Great room with unique puzzles and a cool setup

Overall, it was a pretty good time. But some critical pieces were not quite right and it sort of ruined it. One, we were missing a piece of equipment that the introduction video told us we would have. Two, one of the clues was broken and resulted in us being completely convinced of an incorrect code and wasting a lot of time. Third, we didn’t even know how much time we had wasted because our timer wasn’t running. So it was a pretty creative puzzle, and we had a good time, but it was frustrating to think we could have been able to finish if some of the details had been more thoroughly addressed.

A great, unique escape room. We did the bank heist room and had a blast. Unlike other rooms where you are trying to get out as quickly as possible, this room makes you use the full hour in a fun way. We loved the experience and are looking forward to trying their other room

Honestly, it was well designed and a thrill to play!I would recommend this one at 5/5 stars.Buried alive on the other hand... was one of the most frustrating experiences. We had multiple setup errors that literally kept two members of our group in their boxes for 40-50 minutes. (You can choose to PANIC BUTTON but that’s beside the point.)I would try this one again if setup correctly and in good repair.This room needs some repairs- a key was bent to be almost unusable, a locked bag was broken, and another lock was broken.A second light source would also be suggested.——The company gave us a full refund for the Buried Alive escape room. Much appreciated!

Our first escape room. Puzzles are varied enough to keep you busy. Our only advice is to go with a group. I took my son and there was too much to do for just 2 people. I wish the business would have recommended we book with a group.

Went twice in the same day. Very well set up. Love the concept. Most Escape Rooms you are trying to get out at as soon as possible. This one youre trying to stay in as long as possible while trying to solve the clues to get to the most Loot from the Vault. MAKES IT MORE INTENSE. Who doesnt love a good Bank Heist. Take a group to this one. They make these rooms continuous so you are literally running to the last second. Instead of just escaping there are all these extra things you can do. We did their bank heist room twice and some of their clues were different the second time. They have amazing cinematography, light and sound effects. Very creative. Different from other escape rooms I’ve done. At first it bothered me that i couldn’t finish everything but I had to go back a second time and bring more help! Definitely worth a try if your a big escape room enthusiast. UPDATE I did their second room buried alive. Bring you own pillow case if your a germ o phob. I really liked the room but it needs a few more flashlights.

They were very nice and kind, BUT one of the puzzles had the wrong code programmed to the box by the employees. When Dylan came in to show us how to open it, she also could not get it open. We spent most of our time trying to figure out how to get our friend out, and it ended up being jammed basically. She said it was just a little bit off of what the right number was to open the box.She also said that our friend could have just pushed on the door hard to open it, or to just push the panic button. But in the instructions, it says not to do that unless it’s an emergency or if you are a “wuss.” So obviously we didn’t want to do that.That made me feel pretty jipped from a super cool experience. Loved everything, but I really wish it would have actually worked the right way so we could have played.They didn’t offer a refund or a gift card to come back either, even though it was a malfunction on their part. I know mistakes happen, but we payed for an experience that wasn’t put together properly. I honestly probably would have ended up giving them five stars if it worked.——!!!UPDATED!!!We went back and got to play another game, and it was awesome! Thank you for being so kind and letting us come back again!

It was gnarly! They opened up in a snowstorm for us. We did the Buried Alive room. It was tough. Loved it.

I went to this escape room a while ago. I forget the name of the puzzle I did, but it was set up extremely well and my group and I had a great time. The person in charge of our game was polite and helpful, and was very patient with us when we struggled through the hints. I believe her name was Dylann.Been thinking of going back and remembered how good our experience was!

Our group has done multiple escape rooms in Las Vegas, Utah, and in the Idaho Falls area. This escape room was one of the best one that we have done.Most typical escape rooms, you want to get out as fast as you can in order to have the best time. But the objective of this escape room is completely different and I think you get your moneys worth out of it since you want to be in there as long as possible. The technology worked flawlessly, the puzzles were simple but also not too easy. There was a flow to the game which is what made it a lot of fun and I think that is what sets apart good escape rooms from other ones. What is also amazing about this escape room is that it makes you want to come back again and do the room another time in order to get a better score.Overall, one of the best escape rooms to do in the Idaho Falls area. Highly recommend to anyone! Super excited for the next room that is going to come out.

Great story, excellent props. They have spared no expense. I think our small group could have used 1.5 hours. After our hour expired, I would have liked the opportunity to have finished the game with an offer of more time (perhaps at the expense of scores time or points).I didn’t like the immediate reveal after our expired hour. I would have come back in hopes to continue from where we left off. But an offer of a bit more time to continue would have been great.All in all the experience was awesome. The technology incorporated was awesome. Definitely a unique and fun.Thanks for the entertainment. We will be back.

We had an awesome time doing the buried alive escape room, however one of the lock boxes was broken in Coffin 3. I tried getting the attention of the game master when I was out of my coffin to let her know we had the right combination but our box was broken. After we lost the room the game master did confirm that we had the right combination but that the lock box was broken. We really enjoyed the room but spent the last 20-30 minutes struggling with a broken piece. After the game I asked if we could get a refund or discount to try the room again but didn’t get much of a response. Otherwise we had an awesome time and loved the aesthetics of the room just frustrated we paid for an experience with a broken piece.Update: The owner got in touch with me super fast and made everything right. Awesome experience!

It was awesome going through the bank and they were very accommodating. Unfortunately though the employee arrived later than expected so we had to wait a little while. Because of that he forgot to reset the room 100% which ended up affecting our end result which was not so cool. So for that docked one star. Other than that its awesome.

So much FUN!!I took my family (group of 9) in on a Saturday night. This was our favorite escape room ever. It really felt more like we were in a movie. It was a challenging puzzle with plenty of exciting developments and unexpected twists.Everything was so well done! The staff was really fun to work with. The rooms were so well finished, with great materials and awesome technology.There were a few moments when we all stopped and looked at eachother - like : Did that just really happen!??By far the best experience around.Good Job Gnarly Escapes!!Cant wait to see what you guys do next.

My brother and I decided to check out Gnarly Escapes on an unexpectedly-free Saturday afternoon in February. We had a pretty bad experience. What? you may ask, A bad experience? But you rated them 5 stars? I am aware. After the experience that we had, I was contacted by the owner of the company and he went out. of. his. way. to make it right. Not only did he contact me via email, he also set up a phone call with me to talk more in-depth about the issues that we faced. He apologized several times, and he was thorough in his attempt to ensure that this sort of experience wouldn’t be faced by another customer. I was so impressed that I went from swearing to never go there again to actually looking forward to my next visit. I highly recommend this activity.

We havent done tons of escape rooms before but Gnarly Escapes was DEFINITELY to coolest one we have done. It was a blast! Our whole group loved it. It was the first escape room I have done that I want to do again, literally I would do the exact same room again and it would still be super fun. Seriously, stop reading and book your reservation.

Great fun! Challenging but not imposible. With a very talented group we flew through it to claim the record( at the time of writing.) There is a option for hints if you are stuck so you don’t have to worry too much if something just isn’t making sense. Good communication is key to quickly solving puzzles. I will be going back again.

This escape room experience was awesome! It was like being in a movie, not surprising since its creator is a professional sound editor in California. I may have died from mysterious causes but my team was pretty sweet and we solved A LOT of puzzles. Next time we will totally take the lead!

This is a good mix of technical difficulty, fun, and panic. We had an absolute blast! Quite a few puzzles. A lot of variety. Fun times cooperating, shouting, sneaking around, and laughing.They have enough variety that we are excited to come back.

One time was not enough! I went to the bank heist escape room with 3 of my sons (ages 22, 15 & 14). We got away with some cash but struggled with accomplishing the goal. We came back with the entire family - all 10 of us (ages 12, 14, 15, 19, 20, 22, 22, 43, 43, 60). The room was a little full, but we each contributed and we got away with a lot more cash and got out with the item. They were so nice and accommodating to our daughter in her wheelchair. Fun for our whole family! We will be back when they open another room, or to improve our rank on the leaderboard!

It was way good. We knew nothing of what to expect and it was pretty hard. More time and we could have gotten it. Well go back and try again no doubt.

Never having done an escape room before, I wasnt sure what to expect. But this was a blast.In hind sight, if its your first escape room, it might be worth doing an easier one first.This room is intense, puzzles upon puzzels. There is so much to do and solve, that it kept us racing from one thing to another, and the senerio kept us nervous and pressed for time.We didnt win or even complete the room, as its pretty challenging. But as soon as it was over we wanted to go and try again.We will be back and we will win.

One of the best escape rooms ive done like hands down. (Done about 40) Extremely unique and one of a kind. Had alot of cool technology and was really streamlined with plenty to do. In my opinion i dont think you should have alot of people but they said they had 8 person groups who kindve struggled so id say go off of your own groups skill leveI. I dont wanna spoil anything just trust me and go try it!!! Im just waiting for them to update the website since we beat the high score ;)
