Definitely worth a visit; a beautiful array of statues and memorials that is unexpected in an area like this... This memorial reminds me of the ones in DC. Incredible. Not a lot of parking, but it wasn’t busy when I went thankfully. I’d suggest parking down the road if it is.

I had not been there in years. I and my daughter, her husband, and their daughter were in the area. I had to stop and walk around some! My stepbrothers name is on the Vietnam wall. If you have never been there you should go!! Its very moving to see, it touched my heart.

This extravagant memorial has a surreal feeling to it. Its truly humongous, and has trails behind it with lots of monuments to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifices. Learn about little known wars with place like Granada and North African lands!

It was a well designed memorial, it was designed from a American settler point if view. I was disappointed at how there was no mention of how many native Americans lost their lives. It was tone deaf when it came to the Native Americans.

This is a very honorable and beautiful memorial...

I have to say this Memorial is one of the most beautiful Ive ever seen and Im original from Baltimore (so Ive been to DC a lot in my life) but have lived here for almost 20 years. Both my husband and I have served in the Marine Corps. Hes a native Huntsvillian and has a brick dedicated to him from my mother. This Memorial really pays homage to all the Veterans here in Madison county and is very humbling. If you ever get a chance while paying through this beautiful city so and see it!

Very Nice Veteran Memorial Tribute to our ones who served wounded and fallen!

My family visits this genuinely moving, well kept memorial many times every year. It is easy to get to along the downtown bicycle path. The city keeps the area very clean and continues to expand it. Go if you havent, and while your there, pray for all the souls and families represented.

This is a must see. History of past branches of service connected with a present day relative in the service. Very meaningful and informative. The largest American flag I have ever seen flies in the park.

Its an honourable place to visit and acknowledge our beloved ones and friends and all who fought in the wars to give us our freedom...GOD BLESS each and every one of our veterans living and all who have gone on before us...may GOD BLESS AMERICA,AMEN

Such a peaceful place. And its typically pretty vacant! Flew drone over it a few weeks ago for a sunset shot. Area around it isnt crowded, either. Not much traffic to fight!

This is very much one of the most beautiful memorials Ive ever visited. It stands up to the memorials of Washington DC. In fact it had the distinct feel of the WWII memorial there but with all wars in the history books being reflected in a very nice way. I would definitely recommend stopping at seeing the water and the trails here and how they tastefully honored fallen heroes.

The Veterans Memorial is a lovely place... There is a fountain in the front, and then tributes to soldiers that have fought and given their lives for our country. If you have previously visited be sure and go again to see the expansion and new sculptures.
