This camp ground is a walk-up only facility, which is good. What is bad, the locals park their autos and unoccupied RVs on the camp site so they will have place to party on the weekend. This obviously limits us during the week for campers looking for campsites.There also is a lot of trash on camp ground and along road leading in to the site. We picked up two bags full and gave up. Party ends when the beer can and solo cup hit the ground.Come on Indiana, put some employees in there and straighten the place.

Spent Labor Day here and was lucky enough to get the very last electric RV campsite! That said, my spot (#8) was very sloped so I had to do some creative leveling. $15 per night for electric (110V and 30amp) with a fire ring and two picnic tables. Very quiet after hours. There is water to fill your tank. Not a lot to do in the CG other than two nice playgrounds, but the lake is awesome. Bring your own boat, canoe, or kayak...no rentals here...but no launch fees either. Dump station at the boat launch site about a mile or so from the CG itself. Clean pit toilets, but I didnt see any showers although some web sites say there is. Going again this weekend.

Its so beautiful and peaceful there.

My favorite place to camp, period. My advice is to go to the back loop sites, you get a great lake view and huge private campsites. Each site has a fire ring with cooking grate and 2 picnic tables. The campsites have plenty of distance from each other. Some sites have electric, no sites have water hookups, but there is water available throughout the campground. Dump station is at the boat ramp area. Its $12 a night to camp for non electric, $15 for electric. No park entrance fee.

Lots of fun places to explore. Woods, reservoir, wildlife, friendly people, shooting range across lake and hilly roads for bicycle riding.

I frequently park my car in empty camping spots to eat lunch. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and SO peaceful!
