I loved this place I was a small little park. They have a baseball field and they have playgrounds for children. They also have little paths to walk around at near the lake. The lake has ducks as well. They also have little spots you can lay on to maybe have a picnic date. They also have a gazebo made out of stone it appears.

Love this park! Peaceful walking around the lake. Good for a morning run but sometimes you need to watch out for geese poop. Nice and safe for kids to play on the playground with gate locks easy to use. Baseball field and Tennis Court. The downside is that theres no Basketball court. During the Summer and Fall, Fairs and Shows are held. Overall its a great park.

Very nice park with plenty of free parking..We where there for the art festival. Walk around the lake to find about 30 turtles sunning themselves on the little island about 10 offshore. The geese are fully acclimated to people. One was sitting on three eggs. Other than the many geese land mines, a very relaxing and inviting park.

Its always a great place to visit with the family. Theres free shows, theres a museum, a large fun park for the kids to play in, large field to play sports and run and walking around the large pond checking out the wildlife is always great. Make sure to bring ice cream money, the truck literally lives there, lol. Oh and its quite romantic to stroll around during the evening for lovers.

Pretty well kept up. They have some nice landscaping with a pond at the center and some arches here and there. There was a nice clean looking swing set and jungle guy type equipment for the kids. There are numerous signs proclaimong dont feed the water fowel. That to me is sad.The arches by the water are purposefully not accessible. I can only imagine someone claim this is for safety however it sort of a bummer. There are arches all over the world that can be climbed, they can find a way too.Bathrooms needed better air flow and more upkeep but were there for use so that is something. You can walk around the park 3 times and have your fill. According to the park office around the pond 3 times is about a mile, though I measured it shirt of a mile.

Quiet, clean little park in the heart of Huntington. They recently installed some benches along the pond, which is a great improvement. Great playground for young kids, a local art museum, and in the summer an outdoor performance series makes this spot a true gem. Parking is limited nearby, so if you want to go to one of the concerts be sure to plan in advance to get early (and bring your own seating/blankets!). Several festivals happen throughout the year -- highly recommend the fall festival!

Great place to walk off your great meal from any of the wonderful local restaurants. All the water features are beautiful. The water fowl and coy are a joy to watch. You can also find turtles sun bathing on occasion. The paths make for easy stroller walking, jogging and benches are nicely placed for relaxation and observation. It is often said that the best things in life are free. This park does not fall short. Great for a morning stroll, an afternoon pick me up or an evening conversation. The plants and fountains are great Photo props.I like the childrens playground. The gates require height to open, making it safe for toddlers not to open. There is room to run for all the children of all ages and gym equipment to play on and climb. There is a sand pit and swings of course. This is a fun place for the family and friends. There are loads of free events in the park for all to enjoy. The tulip festival in early May was a hit. Tried my first fried Oreo there and it was a delight. Our son painted and we learned about other local businesses with activities for our little one. I am grateful for this nice retreat right near the heart of Huntington Village.

Very beautiful park with lots of room, but two things I didn’t like that there is was no information about dogs allowed or not.. It took for me the time to come and read the sign instead of just already see this information online.. But I’m fixing it and attaching the picture for everyone to see it.. The other thing that the pond are great with lots of turtles and fish but the shore has some garbage that needs to be cleaned. Hope that this information helps.

Its been very very nice lately. I think they put in those fountains in the water and that sort of took care of the goopy green stuff? Its a great place to go take a walk and hold your sweeties hand. They do like it when you hold their hand, and theres usually ice cream trucks, and you know they like it when you give them ice cream too. And remember boys, the ladies love men who bathe regularly. ️

Great park with a large playground, swings and play area for young kids plus a gorgeous fish pond with large trees and benches dotted around it and a full walkway. The pond is fully stocked with turtles, some HUGE fish (see my image) and geese and ducks. You can buy feed to feed them and watch them swarm around the waters where you stand (even the fish and turtles will come to try to get some food). Right on the same grounds is the Heckscher Art Museum featuring some of August Heckschers own personal collection of priceless art plus a rotation of exhibits throughout the year. The park is beautiful and just outside of the Huntington main strip where you can find great restaurants, shops and of some great ice cream. All in all a great way to spend a day with friends and family.

Went there for an art fair and picked up a great piece of glass art. The park on the whole is nice with a lake and benches. There are concerts, events and shows in season. A seasonal calendar is available. There is also a small art museum. There is a very well done 9/11 Memorial. It is within walking distance of the downtown area. One word of caution there are many many geese in residence which can make a walk a tip toe affair.
