It was a beautiful day to be out and enjoying the time with my kids

Its absolutely perfect for my 2 year old son and I to enjoy on a nice day. I always swing with him.. he faces me and wraps his arms around me and lays his head down on my chest. He gets so excited when he feels the tickle in his tummy.. i love him so very much. I love to watch him run around and see new things and try them. I love to watch him watch other children play and laugh so hard.. they enjoy it too because they always seem to do whatever makes him laugh even more just to hear it. Its a fantastic place to take your family and have a cook out and enjoy the weather!

A beautiful park, nice track to run or just walk on, great place for kids, public restrooms near entrance were actually clean for a park, i was impressed.

Kids played in the park while the wife and I talked and watched. Well kept, clean restrooms. Weather was really nice.

Clean and nicely done. Restrooms are open and clean.

Great place to get a walk in enjoy nature and just reflect in peaceful meditation. One of my favorite parks in the US.

This is a very nice clean park.. Has a dog park also has a zip line for the kids to play on a rock climbing area as well.. There is a creek near by that has crawfish during the summertime.. It is a huge park and lots of table areas to enjoy a nice lunch .. One of the best parks in Huntington.. Also has bathrooms but they have been closed not sure y.. Also there are swings to play on.. And there is metal tables that with the right stick can make an awesome sound

I have been going here since I was a kid its one of Huntingtons best parks. I wanted to say this Huntington Parks and Recreation yall keep up the good work

Ritter park is the nicest park in Huntington proper. I actually would guev it 5 stars but the shelter itself is a little lacking. It would be nice to have more power outlets, as well as more water fountains. The park gets very hot and having water for kids/fur babies on hand would make the experience enjoyable . Still a very good park but I would say prwk times are early spring and fall.

Love the park but hate how nasty can be. Took my girls to the restroom and there was bloody tampons and blood all over the toilet.

Not enough swings for the kids. As much money as tax payers pay, we should be able to give our kids a place to play where they dont have to wait hours for a turn

Great for family fun and outdoor activities. New shelter provides more places to grill food. Movie nights during summer was a great family night event.

Its a very pretty Park. Great for walks events like birthday parties and so forth. They also have a very nice dog park thats set aside.

Great time at Ritter for the pride picnic!

Ritter Park is a great place. I walk my dog there a lot. They have a huge loop around the park for walking. Inside the loop for walking they also have a huge play area for children including a zipline, they have a few picnic areas that are covered plenty of picnic tables, whether youre planning a fun day for a picnic or youre just stopping to eat lunch. They also have plenty of space for dogs to run around they also have water fountains and bowls at the bottom of them so your dog can have water too. Ritter Park has tennis courts also. There is an Amphitheater at the top of the hill where they have different plays. I think Shrek is playing now. Go see for yourself I doubt you will be disappointed. And when youre all done Baskin Robbins is less than a half a mile away.
