Love this beach..very well kept. Nice attendants. Pretty view of the harbor..now if only I could find my hs ring I lost in the water there around 1982. Things would be great.

Gold Star is a cute and quaint beach located right in Huntington Bay. Its family friendly, always has parking and fairly clean. Parking is expensive for non residents (30$ daily). Sunset is beautiful with views to the West. The views of the boats to the East are just as spectacular to look at.

Lovely small town beach, great place to unwind without the crowd. The playground is fenced off due to virus but it has ample parking and the quite. There are a couple of picmic tables (no frills) and bathrooms, as well as roped off swim area.

Please so relaxing and therapeutical. Good to go with the family and have lunch or may be an early dinner

Dont waste your time coming here if you arent from the area.

This beach was a nice bio break on our kayak trip through Huntington harbor. The girls loved a quick swim in the water.

I grew up in this harbor. The view from the town beach parking lot is to the lighthouse and beyond. Watching the boats going in an out ... Ill never get tired of it.

Amazing dog beach. Small piece of coarse sand beach at the bottom of a grass trail. Water was a bit murky, lots of seaweed and pebble laden beach, but no pup cares about that stuff! Had a great time.

The park, the beach, the old buildings, the view its all beautiful, calm, tranquil, a real nice spot for picnics, dogs, family, a date, bird watching, alone or with company. Very nice day. This was where I chose to take my eldest dog for his last car ride - we knew the end was near. It bothered me that there wasnt an accessible drinking water source.

Calm place when its not too crowded

Before the summer end. Even the park is beautiful on all seasons. Summer is the best time since I can spend almost all day here. Lovely.

I love to go kayaking out of here. When you hit the water paddle over to the left youll come to an area with a small waterfall and marsh, almost like a bird sanctuary. So peaceful and tranquil.

GREAT day for the beach. It was clean, water perfect. Not crowded and working personal very friendly and helpful!

Love this place my parents brought me here every summer back in the 1960s. Many fond memories swimming and playing and exploring the area. The pier was part of the THM launch service that brought people out to their moored boats in the harbor. Three Harbor Marine. I used to help tie up their lauches wwhen they would come into dock. I made freinds with them and I was allowed to go out in the harbors on their launch boats. Great memories and back then dogs were not allowed on the beach areas...as I recall..Glad to see the place still exists.

Its close to my home so its convenient. If you just wanna chill on a quiet little bit of land by the water and catch a little sun.

Beautiful park, friendly people and pups

Our favorite spot to bring our dogs. Its almost unreal how much beautiful grass, sand, trails, water,... that these dogs have to run and enjoy. There is so much beautiful space that even my dog who doesnt prefer to be up close to stranger dogs has no worries at all. This place is absolutely amazing!

Ive been coming here for as long as I can remember, its a very peaceful place. This is one of the nicest parks Huntington has to offer.

This beach is so pretty! There is plenty of space and it is free even through most of the summer. The restrooms could use a paint job. But there are trailson the neighboring property which is also a dog park that goes right to the water! Great place to go kite flying, collect rosequartz, to picnic (tables and grass). There is also a new jungle gym for kids. This place is pet friendly and hiding in a romantic location.

Good for small children. As a beach in the harbor, swimming is not great. Good place to have lunch and watch the boats go by.

Great Beach I believe its a state park so you dont have to be a Town of Huntington resident to go there

A good spot to view the boats and the harbors exit. Would not suggest swimming at this this location, walking and sunning only.

Nice local northshore beach.Bathroo.s, waterfountain, picnic tables on deck .Lifeguard, you are swimming in the harbor not on the sound.Clean beach, pleasant to catch sun and take a dip. Not a lot of people so space to relax.Icecream truck frequents through the day.Small playground for kids.with a easy view of them from the beach. No wierdos.
