Bolsa Chica state beach friendlyStaff. A great way to get up close to the ocean. This is one of the many Beaches that southern California has to offer.

I got stung by a stingray here because I didnt listen and shuffle my feet. Make sure you shuffle your feet on the ground when in the water. It scares them away. Good surf. Clean beach. Nice vibe. Fire pits

I really love this beach since you can getting a really nice crosswind any time of day during the summer and if youre in the right vantage point you can take some truly breathtaking photos of sunrise and sunset. I have been blessed with quite a few.

Has narrow path where pedestrians, skate boarders and cyclists have to share the path and on top of it vehicles park backing their big vehicles that stick onto pathway. Im surprised I dont know of any accidents. Ive complained to front office at main tower but theres no enforcement. Sad because its a beautiful beach and path.

This is a great state beach where you can have a fire right on the sand. The beach is lined with concrete rings where you can build a fire and enjoy some grilled food and smores, which is really nice because it can be windy and cool even in the summer. There is a $15 fee for daily parking, and the fire rings can go quick, so plan to get there kind of early.

My go to for fun in the sun. Such a beautiful and quiet beach! Perfect for surfing and family time. Mother nature here in all her glory and beauty never disappoints.

Its nice to walk around when you can just need to have your face mask with you but dont have to be wearing it all the time also to park here is $15.00 for all day use & all day is from 6AM until 10PM but the gates to come on close @ 9PM

Very pretty beach and perfect place to do some surfing and fishing.But it’s no dogs allowed, you have to walk to the dog beach next to it.$15 for parking.

Bolsa is a great beach to visit.Unfortunately, if you want to get away from politics, the beach isnt the place to be.

Nice campground. Decent bathrooms. Pay showers. 25cents for 3 minutes. Fire pits. Lifeguards during peak seasons. Only problem is traffic noise from Pacific Coast Highway.

It was very nice and clean, enough lifeguards were monitoring the area. I feel that they can do much better with the bathrooms and facilities, the private area has a basketball court, one side is missing the hoop.

One of my favorite beaches. Parking is $15. Beach is clean and water is cleaner then most beaches. My kids love coming here. Plenty of fire pits to have a bon fire.

Stumbled upon this reach cool not so crowded beach. Staff was so helpful and nice. Bathrooms pretty clean and tons of fire pits that we will definitely be taking advantage of in the future. Until next time Bolsa Chica!

Been here plenty of times but today was especially nice because there were NO ROCKS on the sand in the water!! Too bad it was SUPER windy which made it much colder than usual... Also there were umbrellas and tents flying around!! Good times though!!

Plenty of parking, restrooms, beach was massive with plenty of sand, clean green water, firepits, and walking/bike path.

We had a nice walk on the beach. Pretty nice beach, but what does a guy 500 miles from the ocean know? There seemed to be a lot of trash on the sand and the restrooms were pretty gross.

Beautiful! Walk forever no drop in water! Summer weekend must be there by 8am for a fire pit

My favorite beach! Always a great place, never too crowded and the waves are perfect! There are areas where at low tide you can find shells, hermit crabs and even mussels.

Amazing but the tide was reallly strong but ot was beautiful there.

The beach is really clean. The sand is hard packed at the shore line which is very nice to walk on or even take a bike ride with the sound of waves crashing.We enjoy the fire rings in the evening too.

This is a great beach for long boarding, body boarding and swimming. The beach is a short walk from the parking lot.

What a beautiful beach. So clean! The sand is soft. I loved it there!

The beach is very clean. Even the restrooms are relatively clean. And their snack bars have good snack food as well as warm clothes in case you forgot something. The beach even has fire pits. This is probably my favorite local beach. But if you are expecting free parking with a disabled placard, you will be disappointed. To receive free parking at this beach, one would need a CA State Park Disabled Pass, which requires an application to the state....fyi

Great beach but if you pay 15$ for a day pass I except all restrooms to be available!! Only have 2 open when there are 6 total and the beach is packed.

Basically parking lot at the beach for overnight camping with electric & water. Close to the highway so you hear the traffic but beautiful beach. Close to bars, restaurants and shopping.

Great beach what else can I saw. You will have to get in early to get the best spots and a fire pit but other than that its one of the nicer state beachs.

Great place for a get together or hanging out etc... Fire pits go quick get onsite early and parking is 15$ restrooms were clean when I used them but bring Clorox wipes just incase so you can wipe down restroom if needed.

Great beach for families. During the week its not crowded but weekends can be. Show up early on the weekends to get a fire pit, they go real fast.

One of So Cals classic places for family beach fun & gatherings. You can cook out, build bon fires, and have BBQs. Great place to people watch. Im a cyclist so I see the good, bad, & ugly this place has to offer. The good Ive already mentioned. The bad, 15.00 parking, somewhat tolerable restrooms. Not a big fan. The ugly. The occasional homeless person here and there. No glass permitted. Closes at 10:00 PM sharp. The beach patrol will let you know when its time to go...enjoy!

This is our go to beach. Love to come here and play in the water. The fire pits are a great thing to have available so close to home.

I came here randomly when I saw the beach and I was on my way to the freeway headed home. I was just thinking about the beach and I was thinking about driving towards Ventura. But I said why go all the way over there when the beach is just right here. I paid about 10 or $15 for parking. It was front row nobody was around. I had a wonderful time just sitting on the sand looking at beach.

Fun place to surf or bring the family... Fire pits... You can usally find a uncrowded peak to surf, year around, empty in the afternoons all the old men are home napping. When the pier and cliffs are walled its usally where I go...

Love going here for long distance jogs. Lots of water fountains and restrooms.

Love this spot, great area for water and has nice locations near by. Lots of sticks and branches makes it hard to walk through the sand in some spots

I always enjoyed coming here. It has been quite a while since last visited. Good memories. They have fire pits and lots of parking with a reasonable fee ($10)

Right on the beach! although really tight campsites and lots of traffic noise. but nice and controlled, friendly staff.

Absolutely gorgeous beach. Less crowded then its nearby sister Huntington and a lot more spacious and open. If youre looking for a nice walk down a sandy trail versus the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk, Id recommend here.

Bolsa Chica Beach is a great place to relax and have a great time with family and friends. Fire pits are available, but you must get there early to claim your spot. Parking also is a bit of a pain if you show up later in the afternoon. Most importantly, have fun add be safe!

Beautiful place love it

It was a Friday evening/night time, family bonfire outing. The people working there were very nice, from the time we paid to go into the parking lot, until the time we left.We had no problem getting a fire-pit. I was amazed at the fact that they had trash cans at every other pit, and we didnt have to go too far to keep the beach as clean as it is !! Even the restrooms were clean.

This particular beach is well kept and peaceful. My family and I went a couple of times to this beach and had an enjoyable experience. Watch out for the stingrays! Make sure to shuffle your feet so you dont get stung!

This place is great it has everything here. RV Overnight Parking-on the beach, Dog Park, and small river jetty, with lots of places to eat, the line is never as long as the line is on the other side, they have paid hot showers, get the coins at the entrance, fire pits, and a bike road, even fishing. Its nice and it is not as crowed at the state beach is. Warner dead ends at the end of the beach, and there is a Jack in The Box there to.

Beautiful beach. You can see Catalina island from the shoe, plus e saw a post of dolphins swimming along side some surfers. So amazing!

A beautiful place but they need more cleaning crews sad to see this beautiful place not to be maintained when I paid $120 to see Kottonmouth Mountain Kings pay at SRH Fest ..We deserved better.

It’s awesome how close the parking is to the beach! Makes it very convenient to lug all your stuff from the car! Downside is there are tons of sticks and rocks in the sand, so you gotta make sure you look where you step!

Parking lot before the doggy beach has plenty of spaces. We love coming here.

Beautiful place to walk and enjoy nature. Do be mindful that there are more than birds and fish...this rattlesnake was sunbasking on one of my walks.

The beach is gorgeous but the bathrooms are always disgusting. The fire pits are allowed to be saved and people dont share. Its sad how this place has changed in the last ten years.

Beautiful. Strange name, but I really liked this beach. Its only a 5 mins drive down the road from Huntington Beach.. But theres more open parking available, and the parking is only $15 instead of $20. Restrooms are actually clean for the most part and theres a small restaurant that serves food and drinks for a reasonable price. :)
