I know this park as butterfly park. It is a beautiful park with many trees and a meandering trail that leads to a cute flower garden. There is lots of grass on the sides and there are picnic tables for a nice lunch. behind this park there is a large field that is perfect for flying kites and there is a playground and a couple of benches. Its in a very nice area and Its tucked away behind the golf course. Ive been going here for years and I really enjoy it

Fun day searching for butterflies and checking out the pretty flowers. Saw at least 10 monarchs! My kiddo was thrilled.

I try to stop in here whenever Im in town, or at least drive thru it. The museums are for sure worth a visit, esp the science one. Lots of nature to enjoy. Last time I was there, I got to see free opera. There were some drunk homeless guys next to me who all the while were giving their reviews of the performances, which of course meant they knew a lot more about opera than me. Only in SF.

This peaceful place thankfully exists in the middle of mostly shapeless suburbs, of which I reside. It is a remarkable monument to the retention of some sense of the beauty of nature, hidden in the middle of a more recently developed part of Huntington Beach. Highly recommended, and very dog friendly.

A great park hidden off of Graham! This park is beautiful and dedicated to the monarch butterfly. Theres a series of tiles depicting the stages of a butterfly right when you walk in and feels welcoming. The park is very green with many trees for shade. A great place to walk the dog or grab a picnic table for a lunch with the family. No playground and no restrooms here

Quiet mostly. With ample shade throughout the day. The butterfly centric aesthetic from the parks department is also neat. Good for a lunch break or a dog walk!

I love the park and the monarch pavilion that connects to it. The green space is amazing but the playground not so much; no swings or shaded areas. Huntington Beach playgrounds are kind of pitiful no comparison to the Stanton Central Park and splash pad which has a train theme, rock climbing and so much more its amazing! Ive lived in HB for 5 years and the American parents are snooty and have no social skills whatsoever but the foreigners and nannies are lovely. Venture to other cities to find amazing play areas and nature centers your kids will love it!

Wonderful park in Huntington Beach. Kind of hidden and not really a playground style of park just a great place to relax and unwind with a touch of nature. Called the Butterfly park because of the tendency of Monarch Butterflies to congregate!

Great park within walking distance from my home. beautiful and clean. they have a very nice butterfly garden that is kept up really well! right next to a golf course so you really can experience the quietude! There are lots of picnic tables and huge trees that give you plenty of shade. discovered it by accident when I was on a bike ride. will definitely take visitors to this park. its so calm and peaceful. has a nice playground for kids and a big field where you can play football or soccer.

Love how big this park is and how it backs into the Butterfly park. I really wish the city would add swings. The only thing I would caution is when you take smaller kids like 6 and under beware of the older kids who dont realize they are too big for this park. They climb the top of the equipment, jumping all around and dont even care that there are smaller children they could trample. I expected the parents to say something but no they couldnt be bothered but next time I will. Oh the sense of entitlement of some of these kids is pretty disgusting; frowns and sour personalities. Its a public park so get over it and yourself little spoiled brats.
