October 23, 2020 Very nice relaxing winery downtown. We had the pizza. It was very good. Had the Vudu wine. Loved it. Stopped back the following day for two more bottles! Will be back next time we are in Howell!

Cute place. I hadnt stopped in before so I thought I would since I love wine. It was very busy and everyone was having a good time. Definitely a laid back causal atmosphere. It feels very homey. They have Communal tables, which Im not a fan of, besides the bar seating and a few outside.All orders for Food and and Wine are placed up at the counter. You can try 4 samples that are complimentary up at the counter. I was able to try 2 since I like drier white wines and they were out of two of the four dry whites including the Chardonnays. I didnt end up getting a glass this because the two I tasted were still to sweet for me. Unfortunately most of the wineries in Michigan seem to produce really sweet wines even when they call them Dry.We didnt have any food but the Pizzas looked great. Definitely higher prices but they were quite large.

With a little help from my wife, the winery really opened the door for me when it comes to wine! We have loved this place since it first opened and the variety of wines they have are delightful. If youre like me, they have a great selection of dry wines that taste amazing. We have always loved the vibe and atmosphere it brings. We cant wait until we can go back weekly to enjoy ourselves. Thank you for always being great!

The Howell Mainstreet Winery is a fantastic place to visit! The food and the wine were superb, and the atmosphere was wonderful as well. They have a really nice selection of red and whites, and everything I tried was delicious. It can be hard to find good red wines with Michigans climate, and the reds I tried were world class.Both pizzas I tried were excellent as well. Great flavor combinations, and the crust was cooked perfectly. Everything listed on the menu sounded delicious, and I definitely plan to come back again. This place is absolutely worth checking out!

I love this place, I keep coming back. And thats coming from someone who lives in colorado where they dont make wine. I mostly come back for the family, but you could also say that I come back for the wine.

This establishment only has a walkup window at the moment, as their interior facility will remain closed until they can offer full service again. Hence, I can only comment on their abbreviated service, which is all that is available right now.I went there the other day to pick up a pizza for lunch while at my sons house helping him get settled. The menu offered wine, pizza, appetizers and salads. Pizza worked OK for us. I decided to try the Gotti pizza with a side order of breadsticks. The Gotti is basically a carnivores delight with pepperoni, sausage, ham and bacon as the toppings. It was very good and not a bad value at $18.99 (they offered just one size...16). The breadsticks were unusual, as they were, as the proprietor described it, a whole pizzas worth of dough rolled up into balls. They were really bread balls rather than breadsticks. But they were excellent as the marinara dipping sauce was superb. These were definitely worth the $6.99 I paid.The people with whom I dealt were exceptionally pleasant. I will note that they do have outdoor seating available for those interested in eating before they walk away. I am looking forward to seeing the interior of this business when they reopen for wine tastings.

Not only do they have good wines they also have a really good pizza. Great atmosphere and the people working here are always friendly.The root beer they make is also pretty good. All around great place.

Respectable wine, great pizza and fun atmosphere. The only problem is their limited hours of operation. It is hard to get there when they are open.

I went here for the first time this week, and I have to say it was great! We sat outside on the patio right downtown and shared a bottle of delicious watermelon rose! They let us sample different wines before we finally selected one, and they were so nice! The food looked delicious, although we didn’t order any this time. I had tried to come here a few times previously though, and it was never open! I just wish they were operating longer hours and more days so I could come more frequently!

The ambiance is amazing. The wine is delectable and the pizza is beyond fantastic! The service is great, they are attentive and welcoming. The place is very clean and has a great atmosphere. A great place to relax and enjoy great wine and food. The pizza is the best in Howell but you will need to try it for yourself!

Unplanned dinner with family and grandma before Howell Balloon Fest. Arrived just before 6pm and found a table. Great homemade pizza! Causal atmosphere, welcoming and friendly staff. We will definitely be back.

Our new favorite hometown place. We love the wine and of course the hosts and the atmosphere.

This place is great! We have a family of 6. We had to duck in here on account of a heavy rain storm. Even though we didnt buy much there more than accommodating to us and our young kids. Even let our 5 year old help make our pizza. Cant recommend this place enough.

I was kidnapped here by some winos. I have to say their seasonal melonfest wine is really good, you can only get it during the fall season. Ive only tried their sweet wines and they are all tasty. Ill be back to try their food and other wines!

Not only does this place have an awesome selection of wine. They have pizza too and its AMAZING! I really enjoyed the veggeeosso pizza. The owner John and his wife are polite and their attitude totally matches the atmosphere of the building. Calm and very welcoming.

Taste before you buy! And order a craft pizza too! Great seasonal specials, warm and inviting vibe.

Its pricey to drink by the glass, but cheap to buy by the bottle. Lots of wine choices and you can sample most of them. Havent eaten there yet but the pizzas always smell delicious.

Love this place, family owned, quaint, comfortable and make you feel like family. . Highly recommend... Great food.

Why why why why would you closed at 8 on a Friday and 7 on a Saturday? Do you hate money? Wine is decent but way overpriced for what it is. Watered down concentrate.

Cant really rate the food or beverages. We sat there for about 40 minutes. Nobody even said hi. Possibly do to my friends invisibility ring. The place was clean and small very small.
