I was so thrilled with this place. Great prices, clean facility, and most importantly, a friendly caring staff. Ive been to other indoor play places closer to me where the staff spends more time gossiping than working. Not here! Staff is on it and gently enforces rules, which made me super happy. The games were affordable, between .25 and 2.00. The food was a little on the pricey side, but! They had good size portions and the food was super tasty. My five year old had a blast and is begging to go back. My one year old enjoyed having a toddler area where she couldnt get trampled by big kids. I guess maybe itd be cool to have one other bounce castle for smaller kids, but Im not complaining.

Absolutely the worst display of hospitality Ive ever experienced. We called in the morning to get hours they were open. After being given information, we drove 30 min through the snow for my autistic sons birthday. When we got there and paid, we were kicked out after 20 minutes, so they could close and setup for a party...as if they needed to set up the 4 story play structure. Absolutely not happy paying $40/he to let my son have his birthday activity ruined.Update...the manager apologized and offered free passes for a return.

We used to visit often and really enjoyed the play structures. When we first started going they cleaned the structures every hour. The last couple times weve gone I noticed they dont do this anymore. Aside from the couches getting pretty worn out, the place has always looked nice and well kept. It had been a great meet up place with another friend for the kids to play, and the adults too just hang out.We have considered doing birthdays here, but its not worth it unless your kid knows 7 other kids. They only offer three options for birthday parties. If your kid only knows one or two other children its not very cost effective, and they will not offer any other options. Unless you want to spend a couple hundred for two kids to do the same things you could spend $20-30 for without the package (play areas, pizza, drinks), its just not worth it.The woman who answers the phone isnt exactly the warmest person to talk to either. I said we were planning on bringing my daughter for her birthday and meeting family there. It would be 2 or 3 kids tops, and mostly adults. Would it be okay to bring in a cake? The woman said no outside food or drinks AND no presents. She didnt even offer any options or suggestions. Just No. End of story.I guess well drive the extra 20-30 minutes to Fort Clarkston for the better customer service and nicer management. They said bringing in a small cake is okay, along with a couple presents. Well buy pizza and snacks there like we planned to do at Castaway.

Awesome & big play area, however was told half of the facility wasnt available until noon, when they open at 10am. A bit of a shocker to me, but the staff seemed like this was normal. So maybe plan an afternoon trip. Also, had to ask to have them put a harness on my kid for the climbing wall in the Challenge Zone. Keep in mind I paid an extra $15 for 30 mins in this area. For the extra money the staff should be ready and excited to help my kids....the kids and I have no experience with these harnesses.Good size menu for the cafe, but expensive for a family of 4.

Had my daughter’s 10 year old Birthday party. We all had a wonderful time. Did The Challenge Zone and Laser Tag. The kids had a super fun time. And yes, I could not resist. I joined in on the fun. I have not had this much fun in a long time. Bree was our host for the party. Professional, polite, and kept us on track with our activities. Could not have asked for better service. All staff are courteous and kind. I will be booking more parties here. Might not limit it to just birthday’s.

We went here the first time yesterday with a 15 month old and I was worried he wouldnt have much to do. For the price, it was $10 for 2 adults and one child. That was the weekend price so it was more. It was absolutely hands down worth it. They have one giant bounce slide, one smaller one and a few smaller game style ones. Then in a separate area they have a really nice play structure and even comfy couches for the parents. For the price, when you consider all that must cost its a really great price. My son was able to play on absolutely everything. Plus, parents can go on everything too. A lot of other places parents cant go, which would mean my son couldnt either. We will be going here very often. My local childrens museum charges $6 per person over 1 and unless they are 4 or 5 they cant do 90% of the museum. This is a wonderful place to take your kids, get lunch or dinner, and let them burn off that energy :)

Never will come back! We used to love it here but after only an hour of being here, we needed to run to the store for a personal matter and were told that if we leave the parking lot, we cannot come back! We’re from out of town and took a long drive to come here! We planned it out and intended to later eat here, do the arcade, and the little build a pet... but instead, I had to demand a refund. They lost money and lost our future business!

I took my 1 year old son here a few times this past month. Weve never been to a play place before so it was a completely new experience for us. We stay for about 2 hours and have lunch there. the food was good. it wasnt too busy for us so it was great for our first time. I love the fact that I could go in the play scape with him. Total I spend less than $20. my only grief would be that there is only a hand dryer in the family bathroom. I dont mind using it as it its a good one, but my son didnt like it and freaked out and started crying. Otherwise the place is always clean and the staff is friendly.

Awesome pitstop when driving home from Holland, MI to Downriver. My 14 month old son had a blast playing in the toddler area. My wife and I also had fun taking him down the big inflatable slides. Plenty of food options and prices are fair. $9 for my wife, my son, and me. Doesnt have the greatest video game selection but thats okay, still are plenty of things to do. You do have to sign a waiver on your first visit, but they save you in their system so future visits you just check in and acknowledge the waiver.

There are so many broken games and they took money off the card but the games never played. I had to go up to the counter 4 times to have the money loaded back to my card. The bathrooms aren’t stocked appropriately and the single hand dryer in the women’s bathroom is AWFUL and it takes a solid few minutes to dry your hands. There are no hand towels. The “new” games that have been added are used and in poor shape and many of them are in a different language. The play structure and bounce houses were ok.

My son, who is almost 2, and I went here for something to do during the day. It was very fun for the both of us. What I liked was I could play too! The only thing that was a little disappointing is that it seemed a little unkempt. The family bath could have used a little cleaning up. The bounce houses they had up, had what looked like dust, dirt and whatever else caked in the corners and crevices. Which then made me think how clean the rest of place was. With a little tlc I could easily give 5 stars.

We were in the area visiting family and needed to find a place to let the kids burn energy at the end of the day. This was perfect! Day one, we bought a pass and tokens, but the kids just climbed and did the bounce house stuff until closing so we came back the next day. Day two, we used all the tokens and also tried out the laser tag. Paid $15/person for 3 rounds (12 minutes each). Money well spent! There are 2 stories in this room with tons of options for different laser tag games you can play. My boys loved it and my niece did too! We were all sweaty messes coming out of that. My advice would be to wear tennis shoes. My boots were definately a hinderance when trying to be stealthy.

Been going here for a while, but Im seriously starting to reconsider as prices keep going up but the quality steadily declines. The food is sub par, and in play area there are even some couches that are broken. (I fell completely in one of the seats!) The arcade is 50/50, I hate how kids arcades are getting more and more games that are basically gambling and less of the ones we grew up with that actually required playing. Go figure. The bathrooms werent awful, but they werent spotless either. We go here because my daughter loves it but we might be finding a new place.

It should get 3 stars but I give them one more for trying and because I feel bad. It has some arcade games, inflatable play structure, solid non inflatable play structure and about 13,000 kids running around at any given time. No way to know if anything is clean, you just pray to whatever that it is clean and was cleaned properly at least once in the past day. But its a place to go and let your kid play while you stare down at your phone / tablet, look up once in awhile to make sure the sound of kids screaming is because of having fun and not getting carried away by a stranger. Pricing is reasonable and they serve overpriced carnival food to make up for the small admission price.

This was our first time here and we were there for about 3+ hrs. Good thing about this place is that my 3 yr old loved the play areas. He was so excited to be up high and go down the big fast slide. The food was ok but a bit pricey, and they tend to oversalt the fries. Yuck. Staff was nice. Cleanliness could be better, the bathroom barely had a working hand dryer and no paper towels. Some of the antibacterial hand foaming stations were empty. Arcade games were pricey and you barely got tickets from playing the ones that gave you tickets. Oh and the heat. It was so warm in there and none of the ceiling fans were on. Not sure what the issue was with the air conditioning, but the kids were sweating and so was I just sitting there.Im sure Im not the only one to find this odd, but the weirdest thing about this place is the daycare/preschool! I was completely stunned to see the daycare room by the arcade room. They also had designated rooms just for daycare, but was still attached to the play areas. Honestly, who would want random strangers amongst their children who are being cared for? Plus theyre sharing a bathroom with customers that come in. Seems unsafe, especially when most daycare facilities have locked doors before being buzzed in. My son wanted to go in and play with the other kids there, and I had to explain to him that he couldnt since it was a school. Sorry but as a parent, this raises major red flags. If youre going to run two completely separate businesses, at least have them in separate buildings. Not intertwined together to confuse customers and other kids. We probably wont be going back for a while.

Used to love this place for our kids. We have visited several places with our children and this one we liked because it had a lot to offer but still felt secure. HOWEVER, today we took our kids and they are no longer closing the door to the half wall between the bounce and play structure area and the arcade/laser tag side. Although we try very hard to keep close eye on our 3 young children, with so many kids playing it is easy for them to sneak out of your view. Several times we had to search the arcade to find our 2.5 year old where he was never able to venture before. Due to this we probably wont be quick to return and we used to go a few times a month plus had a party there.

I say it was dirty because I dont know how cheese and pepperoni would get under my pizza otherwise. 9) this may not seen negative to done but if you have a toddler you would. When I got to my table and set my food down I had a nasty film of grease on my hands from the bottom of the tray. Now, the high light of the day was the laser tag. That was a good time. We used to come he frequently with our 3 kids (and friends) after it initially opened (and for years later). Then the quality started to slide as well as the upkeep on the facility. Two years ago when we came the floor was ripped up, the slides had a thick layer of grime and filth on the tops, and you couldnt help but feel everything about the place was filthy. We stopped going out of health concerns.Im sitting in their dining area right now (on their free wifi) for the first time in about a year, since the new owners have taken over and Ive got to say Im very impressed with the changes theyve made. All of the carpet looks new and well groomed. The slides are dust free and everything is in top shape. The bathrooms are spotless. The air even has a chemically clean scent about it.In fact, a father just let the manager know that he kid got sick on the structure and immediately he asked everyone to clear the structure so he could properly clean it. Hes up there right now disenfecting with support staff. In addition to the stark sanitary improvements the new management has made, theyve also added a bounce house full of inflatable constructs (slides, climbing devices, etc...) which adds a new dynamic of fun.Well certainly be putting this place back on our list of regular family haunts.

You get two kids and two parents in there and there is no room to turn around. This was my first time here and I did not see the bounce house which you pay extra for and they let me pay extra for a 2 year old who has no business near this bounce house. There is no supervision in there and kids were running around with bats and didnt have wristbands on (so they shouldnt have been in there anyway). The one bouncer that my daughter could have gone in didnt have a hole large enough for an adult to fetch her (really, Im not super huge and I couldnt get through it). Food was not even as good as Chuckee Cheese, I didnt expect it to be great but I expected my family to at least eat it it. Bathrooms were dirty, paint falling off on the walls, reminded me of a dirty pool area at a Wisconsin Dells resort. On the positive note, staff were working their tails off, multi-tasking, no one standing around and kids didnt care it was dirty and had bad food. Adults get in free, they have wifi so if you have older kids you can sit and play in a comfy chair while they play.

I have been to castaway many many times and I have to say that every time I go the quality gets worse and worse and the price keeps going up. Im very angry at the way I was treated by more than one staff. I realize theyre busy and probably DO get swindled by people often but they should NOT assume that all people who say a machine has taken their money is lieing. This is how my experience went at castaway with my 6 y/o child. I arrive there and pay the money we go in and I wanted to use the family bathroom, it was locked and no one was in it. So we went to the other bathroom. My son wanted 50 cents for one of the vending machines by the jump areas. It ended up eating his money and he was very disappointed so I told him to go to the front desk and ask for his money back. They DID end up giving his money back but to only be eaten by a different machine. I went upto the counter and told them about the bathroom and the broken machines. I even gave them specifics at which one were out of order so they could correct the problem so another child would not be heart broken when their own earned money is ripped off. I was there for OVER 3 hrs and no one put out of order signs or unlocked the bathroom. My child and I then stumbled across the arcade that they recently have opened. Lets just say I wasted atleast 5 dollars in broken machines that did NOT work and had no signs. We then earned some tickets and when we put about the 60th ticket in the machine it jammed. There was another machine next to it with another woman who said her machine was jammed also. The maintenance man came over and was struggling for a very long time to fix them. We only had about 100 tickets total and I took them to the ticket counter and the child employee informed me no way he could count any tickets it had to be through a machine.(I dont think he could count that I) Needless to say I told him someone was working on ALL the broken ticket machines. I walked back over and was talking to the maintenance guy about how I have been ripped off by the machines and ticket machines and how unhappy I was. His next comment was how people ALWAYS come up to him and try to say they got ripped off and he can tell when they are lieing... I really didnt know what to say to that because I already requested the stupid 50 cents and I didnt want to go back up the front counter and tell them EVERY single time I got ripped off by their machines. I tried warning other parents before they put their money in the broken machines. I would have GLADLY walked around and put out of order signs on the machines that I knew were broken. I hate to see kids disapointed when they did nothing wrong. This place is just trying to make a quick buck BE WARNED

Prices are outrageous! They now charge for parents to get in. Was told we get free refill with a pitcher of pop but when we went to get it they changed us $2.50. you can tell the word is out about the prices we were there on a Saturday and there was only one other family there!
