Played golf there for the first time today. Its a really nice course. Not easy and is challenging. Makes you think off the tee what to club to play. Fairways and greens are in good shape. I will be back for sure. Hidden gem.

Great course and in great condition. The fairways are good and the greens are fast and true. Big improvement from last year and highly recommended.

Great course that was challenging for me as a hack, but i feel would be leisurely for a good golfer. Holes offered variety. Carts have personal ball and club washers. Which i really appreciated.

For the first few holes the ground is like rock but after that the course is beautiful. Cart paths recently redone

The course is in great shape for how busy it seems to be. Reminds me of some of the courses up north with the elevation changes and fairly challenging holes.

The place is nice but the back 9 are open right now. No one told us this. We would have gone elsewhere. But I did have fun.

Usually great customer service but there was an exception when I called to ask about the golf rates during the covid-19 crisis today on 5/13/20, and was greeted by a grumpy and rude man whose attitude made it seem like I wasn’t worth his time. He even put me on hold and then told me to “hurry up” and ask my question because he was getting busy. I started to ask another question but before I could finish he interrupted me in a rude tone. Experiences like this make me not want to come back here, very disappointing.

8/31/2019 was the first time my wife and I played this course and it definitely wont be our last time! The staff was great, especially the starter, Gibby, who gave us some tips on playing the course and also kept things moving on both the front and back nines. We loved the condition of the course as well as all of the elevation changes. Its challenging as well as fun to play. We also had a great lunch in the restaurant after we played, too. One of our favorite golf courses in the Detroit metropolitan area. We will tell all of our golfing friends about Chemung Hills! Were going back - soon!

Bummed the restaurant is closed due to covid-19, but the course is still in good shape.

Wonderful, mature course with many interesting holes.

Decent rates, but they refuse to cut trees that block half of many fairways. Also many greens are totally unfair, yet they continue to think you can place the pin on a hillside. Previously a country club but no more.

Nice track at a reasonable price. Would have given 4-5 stars had it not been for the two 5-somes the pro-shop allowed on the course. If you have all day it’s a great value though.

I was impressed with the course in its design and with the care that ground crew had given the course. The facilities are excellent. I have no problem recommending the course to avid golfer and to those that desire an enjoyable round.

Had my wedding reception here. Beautiful scenery and staff was very friendly and helpful. The event coordinator Brigid was amazing. She went out of her way to make our day work and keep our minds at ease. Had some special quirks to make our wedding reception work right. Owner was very rude to event participants throughout the event and was self righteous and condecending afterwards. Staff, however, were great and very polite and sociable. They did a great job... Will never do an event there again due to the owners behavior.

Easter Brunch 2018 was great food. Hoping you guys are doing it again? I dont see an event, though my fingers are still crossed.

The big guy who works in the pro shop was really rude. He was on the phone with a personal call, and we waiting for 3 minutes for him to actually acknowledge us. Then as he was trying to check us out for the course, he proceeded to still be on the phone and he said that my boyfriends brand new card wasnt working in their machine. He then got off the phone and was upset at us because the card reader wasnt working. The course itself wonderful, the other players are very slow with their golf game. Overall, good course just dont like the people.

It was beautiful! Bridgett was so accommodating, professional, sweet, and understanding. I dont think it could have been better. We had my daughters baby shower here and Im so so glad we did. They took care of EVERYTHING! Next time I have an event I will definitely book here so I dont have to worry about a thing!

Love the course absolutely hate the management. Mike over books the course every year for leagues . It should not take 3+ hours to play 9 holes . We have complained for weeks about the league in front of us with nothing to be done . Last week the league waited for us on our last green and started a major confrontation. Next thing you know that league is valued customers and our league is kicked out. We are supposed to get a refund but we will see how that goes. Our league will also be filing a formal complaint with the township who owns this course . I will never play this course again as long as this joke of a management team is running it .

Nice venue ...but dated

I have played this course every year for past 10 years and have always enjoyed it. Varied terrain, hills valleys ponds. Theres a few elevated tea offs that will give you pause as well. Staff and club house make it a warm and welcoming course. Enjoy!

Tough course but very nice

Fun course, great layout. Not in very good condition. Poison Ivy EVERYWHERE.They have a starter at the tee box, for what reason I am not sure since they do not patrol pace of play on the course. Nothing like a 5.5 hour round of golf.

Went to a wedding reception here. Was kind of odd in that that brought more food to the table than the people that were actually there. We asked for a box to take it with us and they told us that they dont allow talking any food from there so a lot of food was just thrown away that night that had been paid for. Kind of a shame.

Wedding event.. The banquet hall was perfect our Daughters wedding, just enough room for what we needed. We had the ceremony on the golf course grounds and was a perfect location for a fall wedding. Pam the coordinator was very helpful and knowledgable, and easy to work with. The food was excellent.

Course as a decent warmup range, however is small, practice green is well kept. Course is short but the tough greens makes the course harder. Good tee boxes, nice smooth fairways and fast greens. The club house has a vintage feel with a good menu.

The room was absolutely freezing. Had to keep coats on. Otherwise it was very nice

I love the Ladies Night Out Chemung Chef. The meals are excellent, she gives a cooking demonstration, a copy of the menu with recipes and she is delightful and entertaining. What a great night out with friends, If you havent attended this function, you are missing an outstanding event!

Best public course in Livingston County!!!

Tough course. Up north feel with tree lined fairways. Some holes were very dark due to the dense canopy and some were wide open fairways. Played using a hotdeal on Golfnow for $21.49 @ 9:40 am. I was able to start early and finish in about 3 hours. I would come back.

Lights were out r/t an accident..food was just ok. But a good time appeared to be had by all.

Great course, lots of hills (hence the name) to traverse making it more challenging. Clubhouse is a bit dated, but the overall experience is worth the $20.

A nice buffet, not crowded and enough choices. Prime rib was overcooked for my preference but salmon Cesar had me going back for seconds.

Wedding Venue - Beautiful location, fantastic food, wonderful service, excellent price. 2 problems that kept them from 5 stars.1) There is not a dressing area. You must use the locker rooms. Golfers coming in to use the bathrooms, dirt off their shoes. Space is limited and then add a dozen golfers. Frustrating. Get dressed somewhere else.2) Again golfers crashing the wedding...free drinks and there was a Bachelor/Golf Party going on at the same time. Drunk golfers.At some time during the night someone tore the Mens and Womens signs off the bathroom doors and we were responsible for replacing them. Was it one of the invited guests or a crasher?

A wedding was beautiful a little far to walk but that was my choice

Golfed here on Saturday, Oct 13, course is not being maintained. Tried to stop for a bite to eat and drink and the club house was closed, lights out at 4 pm! Outrageous! Dont go here, too many good courses to waste your time where they obviously dont give a hoot.
