Not too congested with people or kids. Long trial that leads to downtown. Love coming to this trial! Better to go before sunset.

I like this city park. So much space, I only wish they would upgrade on the playground area. My daughter faced her fear of the monkey bars and went straight through! So excited. Lol.

My Absolute favorite park in Houston!! Tons of space and ample parking. Amazing bike trails and well kept grass. I went to their recreation center during summers 20 years ago as a child and the park has consistently been an amazing place to take your children, have picnics, watch the downtown fireworks for the Fourth of July, bike ride, skate, play baseball, fly kites, play on the playground, take photos and a lot more. I would highly recommend this park to anyone

Very nice! I came here to walk and found a few trails, a number of activues and playgrounds, and some beautiful views of both of the Buyou and especially the Downtown City Skyline. There were plenty of people here of all ages, enough to know you are safe but not so many that you are crowded. Certainly one of the more lovely parks in Houston!

Great park in a great location. Its unfortunate that people continue to take their dogs into the gated baseball area. The sign clearly says you shouldnt take dogs in there. Other than that its a nice place to hang out and catch a view of the downtown skyline.

It was a nice little park...well at least the parts I was able to see. Relaxing and its right near a water way so thats cool..and theres a nice piece of public art that can easily be seen from the highway. The most beautiful scenery I saw was the hillside sunflowers all tall and bright.

Great park and trail space. You can literally go for miles here and still want to go further. Plenty of greenery and wildflowers to treat the eye and a decent amount of space on the walkways. Just be aware that during hotter/more humid times, there will be lots/and I mean LOTS- of gnat swarms to navigate.

Last night,8:50 pm my sister and I encountered a white male with a clean shaved face, late 30’s /40’s riding on a bike with colorful lights on his wheel, he exposed himself to us! Then took off. We saw some girls trying to chase him down the street as he left. I really enjoy coming here, but doesn’t seem so safe now..

Stude Park is one of my favorite parks in Houston. Not only does it afford amazing views of the Downtown skyline, you can rent city Bcycle bikes for $3 per 30 minutes. Whether you choose to walk, jog, or ride, Stude Park can be the starting point into Downtown. Furthermore, the ongoing Bayou Greenways project will interconnect Stude Park to several other parks and allow for the exploration of the Bayou city,s waterways. Lastly, if you are concerned about parking dont be. Theres plenty of free parking here

Small park with paved pathways, a community center swimming pool and childrens playground. The pathway winds around the park but doesnt have much shade so would likely be very hot during Houston summer, the playground is good for tots upward, may be less interesting as children get older. Overall a lot of green area for playing ball kite flying etc, although I did notice that not all dog owners picked up after their dogs.

It is good park to go walking in or jogging around on some of the different hick & bike trails that go to different places. On every weekend there are softball or other games played on one of the several fields that they have there. They also do have bleachers to sit in. Also, if you want to just go sit under a tree with your dog there are many shady places to pick from.

Nice place to exercise. On bayou and links directly to the miles of bike trails throughout Houston. Close to downtown. The reason for 4 stars is because of the homeless. Lots of garbage left behind from them. They also beak into vehicles. I’ve been seeing more and more broken car glass in the main parking lot lately. They also break into the parked cars on the street. The police have a visible presence there. I think the thieves wait for them to leave to commit their burglaries.

I like this park. I go there because of the nice view of downtown. I also have quiet moments of thought there. There is all sorts of different people who go there and not just one type or a bunch of thugs.I see families and joggers and people with pets and friends having a great time even BBQing.I like the Heights more than I can say. Its really clean and diverse. There is always room all along that area for parking. Its a place I like to go to do some relaxing and or reminiscing of memories. I actually feel safe and comfortable from the work week stress. This park and its neighborhood are dear to me even though I live in NORTHSIDE.
