For being a Houston based park, it was very clean. Portable Jons are switched out quite frequently because they were very clean both times Ive been there. Nice trails adjacent to the park for some amateur biking or nice enough fir an afternoon power walk. All in all a nice family environment. I WOULD NOT VENTURE OUT IN THIS PARK AFTER DARK THOUGH!

I grew up going to this park way before it had the lake & the new playground. Every now & then, someone dies or gets murdered here but dont worry- its only usually gang members or drug dealers so they dont just target innocent bystanders. I love the park. Its great for photoshoots & has a wonderful trail & lake to enjoy.

Peaceful trails, paved and unpaved! Multiple bodies of water with beautiful treeline surrounding them. Vast valleys of serene tranquility. No hydration stations so bring plenty of water especially in the summer. While hiking this park I came across a herd of wild goats, this was on an unpaved path. Very neat discovery. There is a creek as well that may be good for fishing. There was a playground area for kids near the parking area as well. Highly recommend for some simple natural decompressing time.

Wooded concrete paths. Partially decked lakes. Good birding. Only access w parking on the west side off Aldine Westfield. One set of port-a- cans

The path is surrounded by beautiful trees and all around gorgeous nature. Great walking place for you and your best friend.

Very gorgeous Park & close to the Aldine/Greenspoint Area! Playground for the kids, soccer area, tennis area, 9 total miles of walking trail. Very beautiful scenery to bring friends, family, or that special someone to experience it.

Its a great and awesome place to forget all your stress and relax and admire nature as its so beautiful in any vision we see, nature is so loving I feel right at home walking or riding a mountain bike and exploring around and always learning, its a Highly Recommended Place to Visit

Great place to just go and have a nice long walk. Always go with company as they do not have lights other than the parking lots.

The park is beautiful but the people who look after it aren’t worth anything trash everywhere through out the trials I swear I’ve seen the same trash on the ground for the past month and I’ve seen parks and recreation just go and take pictures of bs but do nothing even the workers there just clean the trash cans and drive around on there cool golf carts but nothing more it’s sad seeing such a amazing place like this what a way to ruin the ecosystem and animals habitats

The address that is mentioned is not the address to where you can park your car or to a trail. Literally a waste of time. Left the dead end of where this address led me to and went hiking elsewhere.

Not much there for me but there is a nice trail to walk if you would like. Be careful not to swim in the water, there are signs saying it is a reptile and alligator habitat.

Went on bike ride throughout the entire Park. Mowers were cutting grass, no trash anywhere & nice trails throughout the park.

Love riding my bike with my family. Only wish they had more surveillance throughout the park. It’s a huge park.. baseball fields, soccer fields, playgrounds and trails. I see people fishing as well.

Great place to bicycle or walk. Beautiful lake & area to play & run. Playground for the kids. Tennis courts as well. Also a large field for football or soccer.

This is a 4.5-star park with 3-star people. The park itself is nice and has an extensive system of trails for its size, and the pond/lake in the center makes for a great place to sit and relax... Or it would be, if there werent constant noise when it is busy. I understand that this is a park, not a library, but it seems that every other person who walks or bikes here is banging music as loud as possible on Bluetooth speakers. Besides that, you have trashy people riding ATVs around messing up the grass and gravel trails by doing donuts and burnouts, and the cherry on top is all the unsupervised children running around, screaming at approximately 150 decibels. Your ears *will* bleed if you spend too long here.

Been going to this Park for years is very Pretty but Im concern lately people is coming with Horses and riding them in the trail that people walk and leaving Horse Poop everywhere.why? Where can I make a report one of the Horses got to close to me and my kid.

Love this place, been going and taking my kids and Fam for years and never had and issue.I imagine the sketchy people everyone is talking about are us locals. Just show respect and youll get respect everyone out there is going to enjoy the park. You can go fishing for LgmouthBass, Cats, and Gar all day. To everyone saying its trashy, I like to fill 2 grocery bags of trash every time I go and drop it off at the trash.How about you be the change,i know this is a review, but If everyone does a little it could go a long way. Sotting area needs to be pressure washed and there is no lighting at the park when it gets dark and grass needs to be cut.

Nice park! Utterly friendly vibe! Seems safe! Utterly populated. Small amount of litter. There is a solid path. Will come again. Dog friendly. Most on leash. However, portable restrooms only.

We need more security inside the park, there some suspicious males selling or doing drugs, and the problems with the motorcycles and ATV ruining the park

Beautiful park ! It has a nice walking path.

A nice park. Theres a peaceful large pond at the center of the park surrounded by trees. At the entrance on Orange Grove Street, theres some trash. Theres a wide cement jogging/bike trail. The trail stretches for a few miles. Theres also a serene board walk with a pier at the center of the pond. Just watch out for the white splats.

Great place but my gps did not take me to the main entrance. It took me to a weird closed entrance. It seems like gps does not know the main entrance. But once I found it, the park was great. Its huge! Beware of snakes because I saw one out there. They also have a nice tennis court and great pathways to walk throughout

It is in a rough part of town and the parking lot security could use an upgrade. Regardless, it is a great park for running. Paved and dirt trails are available as is access to Halls Bayou if you want to go a little further.

As of 2019 it is being destroyed by ATVs. Cant walk the trails anymore, cant even walk on the sidewalk due to all the mud.

Best place to get a great view of nature

This park is a really great place to bring your kids and unplug them from their electronics. This park has a playground and a trail to take. Although this park is pretty far from my area, I would definitely go if Im near the park. ☆☆☆☆☆ 5/5 amazing park.

This park is ruined by the sketchy people walking around it and lack of police security. The scenery is amazing. The reveal of the lakes at the end of the trail, the size of the trees etc. this is the best park in houston for scenery yet it doesn’t feel safe especially after dark.

It was beautiful and tranquil.

I liked hiking through the woods. Good paths fairly easy to manuever. Also many paved routes through woods, by ponds, over bridges. Very tranquil. I would have given it a 5 star rating, but users leaving litter along the paths. This is not good. ATV riders also leaving deep ruts in some areas.

This is a very beautiful and scenic park. Walking the trails was very peaceful and while sitting and resting it was very quiet.

It is in a rough neighborhood and the parking lot security could be better. And yet, it is a good place to go for a run with a mix of dirt and paved trail and even access to Halls Bayou if you want to run further.

Nice time of the day for it

What a lovely park. It has hills and a hidden lake. The lake has a bridge that goes across it, where you can see cranes and other animals. There are grassy hills and inclines to run on. Very tall trees line the walking trails. A creek runs through it, and you can often see turtles and fish as you cross the (unintentionally) bouncy bridge. Nice playgrounds and several covered structures with picnic tables. There are hiking trails and sports facilities, ranging from football to tennis to soccer. Good parking, and right across the street is a nice spot to snag a cold drink, a snack, or some tacos. Every time I go there, we see people riding horses. My youngest expects to see horses and collects food for them while we walk. Worth a little drive, even if you dont live on the North side.

Great! Little getaway from stress very beautiful and scenic lake area. They have seating available but you may need to take your own if you cant walk long distances. Maybe a 1/3 of a mile hike to the lake.

I only went once to see family and the place was gorgeous I couldnt get over how nice it looked with all the trees around and all I saw was the view from the parking lot. Over all I really liked it (even tho I didnt get to see all of this place ) it looked like it was a really nice place to Zen out or meditate

Favorite place to run around. Saw a herd of goats and sheep there today but always be cautious. Found a car submerged in the bayou today filled with bullet holes reporting it today.

Its a nice park. They dont have regular restrooms. If you are okay with porta potty then it should be fine.

Nice park for family fun

Good walking trails and scenery. Well lit and plenty of other people. The sidewalks are large enough to accommodate walkers, joggers and bikers. Theres a pond I fish in but have never caught anything not sure if its stocked or not

I have gone to this park with my children from time to time. Today when I went there was trash all over including broken glass. The playground equipment was very dirty. The ground were the playground equipment is was overgrown with grass in some parts and in others it was all out of the mulch leaving mud puddles in its place. This is a nice park but it obviously is not being taken care of.

The park is very big! It has an awesome concrete walking trail and also alot of dirt trails. Its kept fairly clean as well. I would recommend carrying some water bottles and maybe some snacks when going on an adventure out here as Ive not seen any water fountains (although I could be wrong about that).

This park is great for Atv/dirt bike/4wheeler use I would recommendIt’s like a mini Crosby park lol️️️️️Ps: For those that hating on motor vehicle use shut up because the looks on y’all’s faces are full of smiles n amazement when seeing us using them lmaoo

The atmosphere is cool

I absolutely love this park. I love shaded parks for my runs to protect my skin from the sun. You can easily do a 4ish mile run roundtrip. I am sure there a other routes I have yet to check out. You wont be disappointed.

I ended up in this park by accident- I was pleasantly surprised. It is very big and beautiful and lots of family walking/exercising--pave trails and flat- so accessible to all. There are a couple of small lakes where people were fishing and enjoying the sunset. lots of open space even soccer fields as well. Plenty of parking. enjoy!

Wonderful trail, my son loves walking through the trees.

Had our family reunion here, the kids had a great time and the shelter pavilion was the perfect size for our group.

I like to go jog. I prefer jogging in a beautiful nature filled peaceful environment. This is that place. Dont be put off by the beginning part of the trail keep jogging along the trail and you will see the Utopia

Good park but needs some active police presence. Too many kids openly doing drugs while families walk by. Randomly heard about 10 shots coming from the woods close to the walking path. Park is great for walking but its also dangerous.

They broke my car window this pass Saturday.

Nice trails, However there needs to be patrols because there’s too many people riding around on motorcycles and four wheeler’s.

Over crowded and very dirty

Peace of mind

Good open spaces, people tend to congregate in the same areas so the rest of the park is open to walking and letting ones dog off-leash. Some people fished. Not 5 stars as I found trash in the less frequented areas.

Really large spread out park complex w/ playground, athletic fields, concrete trail winding through some nice natural settings with ponds. Halls Bayou runs along this park also. Good area to enjoy some wildlife along the trail.

Usually kind of clean, but occasionally has trash spilled onto the track. Some boards can be repaired on the boardwalk.

Dont go to late gators and snakes come out other than that is great

It used to be more of a fun place to take your kids now it seems like they turned it into a soccer field my name is literally but thats the side on Aldine Westfield if you walk through the parks trails its a nice park for jogging and dog walking

Beatiful park! Has many trees that serve as shade, a lake, and wildlife. My only reason to not give it a 5-star is because after rainy days, it is difficult to use the walking trails because of ATVs getting mud all over the place.

Amazing trails nice small lakes great to sit by around a nice area. Although there do be strange people and its big please watch your kids around night time

People riding their motorized vehicles, which is not allowed in the park, have destroyed many parts of park. Many animal habitats have been destroyed because of the 4 wheelers. Trash all over the place and in the water. All the trash cans have been burned up. Bullet casings are everywhere. Just look on the ground and you will drug bags everywhere also. Not to mention you have to arm yourself because you dont feel safe from the humans.

Park is great for soccer, baseball, jungle gym, running, biking, hiking, and other outdoors sports. They have great spaces for parties however spots are first come first serve unless you reserve the area. At one point there was talk of peoples cars getting broken into but its been some time since Ive heard of any crime happening there. That is why I gave it 4 stars if it had security/police patrolling I wouldve gave it 5 stars.

Beautiful public park! I wish there was more done to stop people with dirt bikes and ATVs from coming in and being completely disrespectful.

Those POS 4-wheelers that are tearing up this beautiful public park need have their a$$es kicked or at least have the book thrown at them! Im mean, its illegal, right?

Great trails

Very nice park. There are paved trails as well as some dirt. Its a good spot for birding, hiking, biking, etc... I didnt see any bathrooms but there were port-a-potties including a handicap one. Nice playground and soccer field.
