This place blasts music Saturday mornings at 8am with their doors open so the whole street can hear it. They have very little regard for their neighbors, who are just a few yards away from their doors. This is a neighborhood with working people. Please either have those classes later in the day or move to a more appropriate location.
Culture lives here come explore it
We had our 4th Annual SWAN Day Houston Program at the TBH center. The staff was helpful, accommodating and helped in everyway to make our event successful. The #tbhcenter is conveniently located on South Jensen and has a parking lot in front of the venue. When you book your event, tell Maria I said, Hello!
Love the artwork. Our daughters dance class had their recitals here and the theater was pretty cool. It had comfortable seating and a small, intimate feel.
Great place that had a show if Russian dancers.
Mexican arts all good for bilingual students. nice place
Cool stuff. AND they let riders for critical mass to use the restrooms every month!
As a performer, the stage was good for dancing on (marley flooring) and plenty of room backstage in a studio (with a wall of mirrors and marley flooring) for costume changes and waiting off stage before going on. Rated a 4 because i was only there to perform so I dont know much about the rest of the building or how scheduling/booking performances is with TBDH.
I meet Beto here, it is a great meeting space n location, parking great
Love this place and my good friend Pancho Claus
Great facility, excellent parking lot. Seats in the auditorium are very comfortable. The entire place is clean as are the restrooms. I appreciate that their snack bar and the fact that the snack bar and ticket booth are opposite from each other.Absolutely adore the outside murals by awesome artists.
Talento Bilingüe in the second Ward represents Latin-American culture by having shows that are traditional to the Latin American Culture. Talento Bilingüe is a theater and gallery that gives many different shows and educational lessons on the culture of Latin-Americans in Houston. It has a historical influence because it is a place where people of the same culture have been able to hang out and enjoy what they would back from where they came from.It represents folk culture because the people are keeping their traditions the same, but instead of it being in South or Central America, it has been brought to Houston through the process of relocation Diffusion because Houston is the closest major city to the Latin American countries. The images that I took show the Latin-American culture because it is in Spanish, which most people in Latin-America speak. Also, the murals represent the type of traditional Latin-American clothing for the people. And finally, the list of upcoming performances shows that the people are preserving their culture by doing the same performances, or performances that are similar to the ones that they do from where they came from.
I love Teatro Bilingüe. They always have on scene great plays.
Wonderful theater with capability to have subtitles during play. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Talented people involved with the community.Free parking.
Keep the doors open! This place is vital to the community
I saw a spectacular interpretation of an old time classic of Cinderella that was vibrant and entertaining yet jam packed with great themes.
Came here for the 48hr fill festival. the place is nice. The tech could use a little work but Im sure thats a budget issue. The concessions had the necessities so no complaints there. all in all we had a good time.
Talento Bilingual de HOUSTON Art and culture is the best place to hang out if you are looking for acting classes or art
You need to visit take a couple of classes or a wonderful play.
The 48 hour film festival ... terrific.
Its a nice simple place with art work from people in the community. Totally love that this place is dedicated to helping the community around them and welcome everyone with open arms. They have cool events and have awesome art work on the outside of the building.
Great Theatre in Houston Texas for the latino community and Houstonian people.
Awesome events! Loved it!
Great place and great actors, came to watch a French play and it was a 5 star performance !!
Free parking advertised for Tamale festival, but when arrived these homeless people were trying to charge $20 to park in this parking lot... I didnt feel safe (even tho I have CCH), so I just parked on the street one block farther for freeThose homeless people (while I feel bad for their mental illness and situation) were extremely aggressive.
After more tham 15 years. I walked the area, wrnt inside the buillding. And as an Adult i want to start giving back to my Latino community. With what i know best, my own Musical Talent. 1st Salvadorian Mexican American to male history. In theusic industry
Great venue, amazing show!
Is a nice place
Nice place to go enjoy plays
Went to see a film and the staff were great and very helpfulThanks TBJ
Festival was cancelled without notice. Sad.
I love TBH. I love how they treat our community with love.
I visit this center for my friends movie contests. The facility itself is not bad, however parking can be tight. Many do not know, but only the lot in front of the center is patrolled by security; the parking on the side is part of the citys park parking lot thus monitored by HPD (which means not monitored at all). My friends car has been broken into once while parked on the side. That same night, another persons car was also broken into. It seems that every time we are there, somebodys car ends up w/ a busted window. I really wish they would find another place to hold the viewings....worrying about break-ins is just stressful.
Its a multi cultural event place.
Their annual Latino Film Festival contain great films and shorts. The theater had a good sound quality.
Lived the Vibe atTBH ..
They host a nice Cinco de May festival and the parking is good too! Good place to park if you are looking to ride your bike around the area.
The best Mariachi ever!
Nice, clean, open center with projects on display and a decent auditorium! I love the murals on the outside of the building.
Very cool place to see hispanic artist rising.
This is the place to be to show off your artist abilities and to be able to let ppl know who you are as a singer or your acting abilities!
The Art Block Party was an Informative exhibit. There was so much history on our Latino culture. Next stop is The Art Museum...
This is a small one lace but my kids have learned new things and cultures and it is the best!!!!!!

Beautiful venue, amazing staff, and a lot of activities for all members of the family.
Its a very nice place.
A great place for the community. A full theatre, concessions, bookstore, special events and plenty of parking are some of the highlights of this venue.
Important cultural, language resources for the East End. Hours are limited, so look ahead and make time to come by. New bookstore is important!
Best place ever, they should have more events going on, people should go to this place more often.
