The fairways are very dry, plenty of places where theres no grass. However the greens are in fantastic shape.

Greens are in great shape

The staff are great, for the most part, and Sterling is usually in great condition. The golf is fun and challenging.The management here is atrocious. Members are supposed to have access to free range balls, but good luck getting them to put any out. The range randomly closes without notice or reason. The public bar has had a broken tap system for 8 weeks as of this review. There is a members tee time system but the course doesn’t care. You can book on what appears to be a slow/empty afternoon and you’ll be surrounded by people who didn’t even bother to book. Overall there are much better courses around for about the same price with either better amenities or better service for the same or similar price.

Greens are on great shape!

I golfed here in the South course for first time in a private tournament yesterday. This course has beautiful holes and greens are in great shape.

Sterling golf course was in excellent condition. Greens were very receptive. Staff was very friendly.

Go to the BACK DECK!!!!!!! You do not have to be a member to enjoy it make sure to ask for Mark and Greg.Great place just make sure you do not leave valuables in your car at in your car. The back deck serves awesome food.Their garlic cheesy bread is huge and can be shared with a lot of people. You can also add pepperoni to it. The dough they use is the same for their stone fired pizzas.Full of flavor and the drinks there are great as well. Make sure to go and see Mark he will take good care of you. Another good guy there is Greg and he will take good care of you as well.This is a nice place to chill at and you do not have to be a member to enjoy, food and drinks at the Back deck that over looks the golf course.Inside the Back deck there is a shuffle board,pool table, 2 electronic dart boards, 1 slot machine, and a electronic black jack video machine, along with free popcorn.They have a wide assortment of food on their menu, and I have been told their Cuban sandwich is good.The Back Deck is located behind the country club and is phenomenal.The people and staff cooking are outstanding. Nice long wood bar with a ledge to rest your feet.Definitely will keep coming back due to the great service we received from Mark and Greg and their phenomenal staff that cooks food there.Again go and check out the BACK DECK as you do not have to be a member, and you will not be disappointed from the service and food you receive.

Very clean, staff tending to our needs instantly. Food was excellent. Everyone was polite.

Ive experienced a lot of top tier golf courses, so trust me when I say the layout is unbelievable. The greens were rolling well and the staff is very accommodating. The fairways and roughs were in poor condition, but Im from the midwest and expect everything to be green so in my view the entire course was burnt. I would play it a fair amount if I lived in the area
