My little one loves, loves all things fire fighter! I made an appointment for this museum which is only open on the third Saturday of the month.I thought it would be targeted to children, but it is not. The tour guide asked the children not to touch things, requesting that their hands were behind their backs. There is a single area where the children dressed like fire fighters and could pretend cook, etc. Otherwise, this was not a very good museum for children under five.
Perfect for children ages 5 and up. They have historic Pearl Harbor memorabilia and actual logs and journals, including a Fire Truck that was shot by planes, during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Also had toys and costumes for the children. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Unfortunately its just one weekend a month.
This was great. Great history. Tour is guided by active members. I would say it is a must do.
Took the tour with Fireman Chris. All aloha with a smile to match. The whole staff was super friendly.
