Great experience here! My friends and I played the Depths of Osiris VR escape room and it was so much fun. The staff there were kind and accommodating, explained everything really well, and we all had a great time. Would definitely recommend especially to college age friends. Cant wait to go back!

This is one of those things everyone MUST try at least once in their lives. The people here were amazing and helpful, the ambiance and quality of the room and equipment was exceptional. I didnt know what to expect honestly but I certainly wasnt expecting to be so impressed with it all!!The escape experience though was so so much fun and I will certainly be going back to try all the different versions of escape rooms they have.If youre reading this because youre on the fence about coming here, just do it: you will NOT regret it!

The VR escape room was a blast! I went with the intention of confirming/ denying if I wanted to jump into VR this Christmas. Im sold and will definitely return here with my wife again in the future. The employees were also very helpful and dialed up the fun to 11.

My family and I had a blast here. Great first time experience, the staff was awesome and a great help, the Egyptian tomb was fantastic. Definitely coming back to tackle the other rooms.

The staff are always incredibly helpful, fun, attentive, alert and service oriented. The equipment and the room are very clean. Our family have enjoyed all 4 games and look forward to our last challenge soon. They welcome us each time and send us off with a fun picture, stickers, magnets and huge smiles. If you go before 6pm on weekdays, bring lots of quarters for the meters. Plenty of street parking. 2 hours max. Each quarter is about 10 minutes. The underwater adventure was quick, fun, and our other favorite was the dragon game. Thank you for giving us a great time!!!

This was our second time. We did the Dragon Quest the first time. We absolutely love it! Super fun and we love the puzzles! The VR room makes you feel like you are actually in a video game. It is so immersive. Above, around, and below. You feel like you are in a huge environment. The staff is awesome and helpful. There are a few hints, if you need, which we did use a couple, but the staff may help point you in the right direction, if they see you struggling. I highly recommend checking them out! We will definitely be going back next weekend to take on the outer space challenge!

I love these escape rooms! The virtual reality is probably the best on the island and we had so much fun with it. I’ve done at least 2 of the VR puzzles and 1 of their live escape rooms, and I’d definitely go back for more.Protip: street parking is free for anyone who books after 6 PM

Awesome first VR experience! I am an avid gamer on both console and PC for easily over 2 decades BUT Chambers Escape Games VR Escape Games takes the cake! Very, very, very immersive! You will forgot about your 9 to 5 job once you step into their Virtual Reality Escape Game. You will forget about our world wide pandemic once you step into their Virtual Reality Escape Game. You may even forget your name And very, very, very realistic as well! I am afraid of heights, and I didnt want to look down towards the earth as we were in their Space Station Tiberia game nor did I want to step on the glass floor and crack it which was preventing our party from falling down below Looking forward towards our next visit! Awesome! We have done 7 other escape rooms around the island and none of them come close to this one. Once you get inside the room you feel like you have been submerged in that world, very realistic experience. We were 2 adults and 2 teenagers, there were enough things to work on in different groups, giving everyone the possibility to play, and not crowd each other in one task, which often results in confusion and waste of time.Challenging, yet clues are pretty straight forward so you don’t spend time trying to figure out something that doesn’t even matter to escape.Loved it!

This place was beyond great! You can really tell they love their job and that they enjoy every minute of it. We’re definitely coming back ASAP.

Booked online with my husband for the Space Station Tiberia Room. We hadnt done an escape room or VR before, so it was a new experience for us. So much fun! They had a great setup and walked you through how it all worked. The VR looked amazing and the play through was a fun experience. Challenging puzzles, but fun to figure out. Cant wait to go back.

We did the VR dragon slayer escape room and it was the best VR I’ve seen on the market. That along with the decorative Egyptian themed environment and the amazing employees, reallt made for a fun experience. 5/5 rating easily.

Amazing. I can’t express how much fun a had in my experiences with this place. If you enjoy having fun or need any activity to do with a group or your friends, this is the place. I went here 4 separate times trying all of the escape games and I must say all of them were a blast. The service was excellent and the gameplay is extremely easy to grasp and fun. Not even going to lie, was invited to Escape after a long day at work and I was tryna go home and kick it but I was convinced by they know who they are to come. Let me tell you one of the better spontaneous moves Ive made. Outstanding experience from beginning to end. Shout out Keith our instructor. Highly recommend. Such a cool experience! Everything in the temple was realistic and interactive. Ron, the owner, has poured an impressive amount of creativity and detail into each aspect of the game. We will be back!

This was my first VR escape experience and it was amazing! It was medium difficulty, but super intuitive and fun to explore. Compared to live rooms, this was just so distinct, enjoyable, and interactive. On top of this, if you escape they give a magnetic badge to collect. If you collect all four, you are put up on their wall at the escape room! Highly recommend to all escapists and those looking for a fun adventure and activity.

We did the Egyptian room and all loved it! There was so much detail that really created the scene. There was even sand on the floor! Super well done with the ambiance, and defiantly our favorite space from other escape rooms we’ve done. The puzzles were a good challenge. We finished the Room in really good time. When we would struggle the host helped us out. I never love struggling so it seemed great, I’m wondering now though if he should have waiting a little longer to give us hints. (But of coarse he didn’t know how fast we would solve the other other ones). Also we would have liked it if they spoke to us in an intercom instead of being in the room. Those would be our only changes we’d make.Besides that it was amazing and our favorite escape room we have ever done! Very well put together!!

We have been to Chambers a total of four times now. We played the live game first then three of the VR games. All of the games are AMAZING. Even more so was our gamekeeper Zachary, whom weve requested everytime. So much fun. It has been my favorite place on the island since things have started to reopen. I cant highly recommend enough.

This was my first escape room and it was so much fun. We went to the Temple which was a group of four rooms that had clues hidden. When you found the clues and put them where the were supposed to go, then a door would open to the next room. The puzzles were very challenging and each person in my party was busy looking for clues or putting a puzzle together. It was such a great time and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a challenging yet fun game.

I Have experienced VR games in Japan but not an escape room concept. This is an awesome family fun activity to do. Especially when it’s raining outside and your looking for something fun to do. Great to being older kids and even doing a team building exercise.

Awesome game and puzzle experience at Chambers Escape Games. We played the Temple and even though we were just a party of 2, they made arrangements to allow us to play! Not only did we play, we Escaped the room with minutes to spare! The hostess, Lily, was wonderful and made our first experience with Chambers a very positive and most memorable one! I highly recommend going to Chambers Escape Games. We were in Hawaii all the way from Washington DC and weve play a good number of escape rooms. We would definitely put these guys in our top five! Keep up the good work Chambers Escape Games team!

This place was amazing and fun. There was six of us that went through and we finished 20 minutes early. It is very well put together very well-constructed and adult entertainment at its best. Anybody looking for a great escape room I would definitely recommend this 100%. Our guide was amazing and worked with us even though we were a little late to our appointment. I frequent Oahu from the states and I definitely will make this a part of our vacation every time we visit. This escape room gets a five-star from this party of six.

Its one of the best activities I tried on Oahu!!We came as a group, and decided to try Space Ship escape room. We were given a 3d googles, backpack and headphones. After you take them on, you are transferred to a different reality... and trust me, you will be surprised how real it becomes after you start to play!We were on the space ship in the outer space, we could see earth, see and hear each other, move and use different objects.We were able to escape in 20 minutes, but those were the most memorable moment in my life.The stuff was very helpful and accommodation, everything was organized safe and fun.I definitely recommend to try, its something I have never experienced before, and its amazing!

Most elaborate effects of any escape room I’ve ever seen. Everything in the room is such high quality and totally immersive. Some of the puzzles were a little simple and we got them by guessing but a lot of them were more challenging. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for their money’s worth. Oh and all of their employees did an amazing job.

AMAZING experience, perfect bonding experience thats WAY more fun and complex than the traditional escape games. The founder Ron is also awesome and super hospitable, overall the experience is well worth it. Would recommend to everyone.

I’m always skeptical of places that have so many 5 star reviews but this place was amazing. We had so much fun. The only downside is that I am concerned that any other escape room will fail to be as good!

This is our second room completed at Chambers. Space Station Tiberia was fun but tougher in my opinion than Dragon Tower. Very interactive and exciting galactic experience. Look forward to our next badge collection!

Came here with 3 other friends on a holiday and it was one of the best escape rooms we had ever done, and weve done a couple back home in Australia . The VR experience was awesome, hi-tech, and super responsive. It was maybe a little too short, but thats just a nitpick.Our host was excellent. Super helpful, chill and really funny (said his name was Martinez or something), and even let us have a sneak peek at some of the other VR experiences.Would definitely recommend my friends go there if theyre travelling to Honolulu.

We’ve played multiple games here! The temple is sooo cool but the VR games are awesome!!!! First time playing the VR game and we made it out!! We had the best time! It’s more fun than you’d think, and I didn’t get motion sickness (which is something I was worried about) It such high quality! The game hosts are the best!! Zack was awesome today! We’ll be back next week for our 4th game to become escape masters!!

The details of the live action room was beautiful. It was challenging and fun. I would recommend this to anyone looking to try something new. Very awesome experience.

We’ve played over 20 escape rooms around the country and Chambers is definitely at the top for our favorites with the Temple escape room! The detail put into the room is remarkable and we loved the types of puzzles that worked our brains different than a classic lock and key. Our game master, Keith, was super awesome and made us want to come back for our first VR escape room experience! The Space Station was super fun! It was quite an exciting challenge to adjust to solving in VR, but I’m so glad we successfully accomplished it! The add on game of Horror gave us some good laughs and scares! We appreciated Keith’s encouragement to come back and hyping us up for all the fun we had!

There are some awesome Indiana Jones vibes going on. The staff are all super friendly as well. After having such a great experience, I can’t wait to go back and try the Virtual Reality rooms next!

Excellent family fun. our 2nd escape room experience and it was so much more immersive and creative than our first one. staff were friendly and provided the perfect amount of help/support. the props and puzzles were super well designed and built. if we had time to do another of their adventures during this vacation we totally would.

I’ve never done any virtual reality before so I was uncertain of what to expect, but I was sure I’d like it well enough. The people running this company are wonderful, WONDERFUL people. THIS PLACE MET AND THEN EXCEEDED ANY EXPECTATION OR WISH I COULD HAVE POSSIBLY HAD for how I would have liked it to go. This experience was so interactive and free moving with no chords holding you back. It felt like I had gone on the trip of a lifetime and was traveling the world. The graphics made tears well up in my eyes from how realistic and wonderful they were. Pure art! Loved every second of this experience and words could not describe the way I feel walking out of there. I WILL be back.

New word in escape room technology! Of you a geek like me youll enjoy the new twist, you got to escape a space station in virtual reality using whatever is provided in the virtual world! Graphics are much better then what I seen to date and Staff is very friendly! Will be definitely back to try the rest of the games

Took me wif and my two kids. Had a blast doing the Dragons Tower. We beat the challenge with 5 minutes to spare, basically that just means were super awesome at being a heroic team together. We all loved it and hope yall have just as good a time if you go.

I came to Chambers Escape Room as a team building exercise and i have to say it was perfect for that. The experience that I had there was nothing short of excellent. Immediately after going through the first door i was immersed into a whole new world. The staff was helpful and accommodating, and the tasks were stimulating.Would recommend to anyone wanting to try an escape room.

My recommendation for new players is the Dragon Tower Vr room, its good for up to 4 people, and is by far my favorite. The Temple is a close second.

My cousins and I are OBSESSED with escape rooms, so even on our Hawaii vacation we knew we had to find out how the islanders like to escape.Chambers did not disappoint! Our group of 8 did the live Temple game and loved it. The difficulty was just right (medium), with enough puzzles and types to keep the group challenged and busy without feeling repetitive or like busy work. Speaking of busy work, Chambers gets rid of much of it by minimizing the time you spend digging in every corner for a scrap of paper in favor of an immersive experience where the clues are found quickly so you can get to solving your way to the end.What else is good here? The attention to detail and story. Its a great narrative experience using a blend of tech, practical effects, and overall production value that you dont often find at these places.Our group of 8 had a great time, and set a new record while we were at it! If youre wondering, we are a fairly experienced group, with our least experienced player having done 4 rooms under her belt, and our most with around 18. Definitely check them out!

Absolutely fantastic place. Very clean place. Staff is extremely friendly, personable, and fair. Ask for TRENT. Super awesome guy and can guarantee satisfaction. Equipment is well maintained for an enjoyable experience. There are 3 VR Escape rooms and 1 live action . The VR rooms, will definitely test your skills but at the same time give you an enjoyable experience. Definitely recommend a group of 2 or 3. 4 can get a little crowded depending on your play style. I have done all 3 and next week will be doing the live action one. Ive done one VR escape room in the past and can only compare it to this one. This one blows the previous one out of the water. Any age can do it and your guide will be there the entire time if anything happens.

Absolutely a BLAST! Me and 3 friends did the space station VR room and had SO much FUN! Josh was a great guide and even treated us to a special Halloween nightmare after the game. We started off kinda slow to figure out what to do, which got mildly frustrating but Josh gave us a few hints at really good times, which kept us from getting too dejected and kept us moving ahead. Most fun Ive had in a long time!

It was my friend’s 55th birthday and we had a very diverse group. The owner was an absolute doll! We had a blast, the game was fantastic (we did the temple) and everyone was so so nice!!! We are going back to get conquer all 4 rooms #lifegoals

YOU HAVE TO DO THIS!!!!! Out of every excursion we did on Oahu during our 7 days (and we basically did everything), this was our FAVORITE! We did the undersea Virtual Reality escape room. The entire hour it took us to complete it, we were laughing hysterically like the whole time. My ribs hurt. You will learn a lot about your teammate, it will make you or break you Hilarious shenanigans are guaranteed to occur. We did an entire level crawling around I cant wait to go back and do every single escape room they offer. Its worth every penny for this incredible experience. This is state of the art- it blows every other VR experience Ive had out of the water

So much fun! Ten MILLION times better than our VR set at home that we play small games on and such an amazing twist on escape rooms! You can choose from multiple scenarios and play with friends or just go as a fun date night! Highly recommend!

Never done anything like it!4 of us did the Space Mission, and we made it out with 11 minutes to spare!Great space, very comfortable atmosphere, and quality equipment!The staff and owner were also so helpful and made us really enjoy our time!!Definitely going back and telling all my friends about it!

Went here for my husbands birthday. We absolutely love room escape games, and have been to many across the country before in PA, OH, MS, IL, and CA. Chambers was a unique room escape venue, because they offer VR escape experiences. We went in for the Space themed adventure. I was nervous I would get motion sickness, because I have experienced that before using VR, but their rig is very intuitive and did not upset my stomach at all. The visual effects were really fun and charming. The puzzles within the escape room were very simple and easy to figure out. We finished so fast that we set the record for two people in the room which was neat. Because we had extra time, we got to experience an unlisted game about time travel. This game had less polish than the Space themed room, but the puzzles were a bit more challenging. The game play aspect was a little repetitive, so I am not sure if it is a good stand alone experience. We also opted for the Haunted Hospital add on. This add on was probably not worth the extra money unless you are very into horror. It wasnt scary at all, just a fun cinematic type experience with no puzzles or much interaction from the players. We also opted to get some footage from our game time, which was only footage of us playing in real life, no in-game footage was included. The camera man did a great job, but I would not pay for this add on again, because I found it to be a little cringey to watch, but my husband thought it was hilarious.I plan on returning to play the other VR rooms and their physical room, I really enjoy room escapes and hope that the other games are much more challenging. All in all, a unique experience that stands out as among the best of room escapes I have ever gone to.

This is great vr escape experience for the whole family and the live room is the best the island has to offer. Today my usual group became escape masters after finishing every room they have to offer. Cant wait for Asylum to be released.

What an amazing experience with my family on a rainy night in Honolulu. We had a blast and all worked together really well. The game was more about using your head rather than an Easter egg hunt. Such a good time, highly recommend for groups!

We went with a group of five and the scenario was alot of fun. We did the Egyptian one. The puzzles were challenging and not too obvious so that made it fun. We made it out alive within the hour! Highly recommend for team building or just for fun.

ALOT of fun... puzzles and riddles were tough but not over the top so there was a feeling of fun to the excitement with intensity of the clock.

So much fun!!!!I was worried that my glasses wouldnt fit, or that someone in our group would get motion sickness. But everything worked out great!Our game-master person was so awesome, I feel bad that I cant remember his name. He explained everything really well and helped us get immersed in the game, gave tips where it was needed without ruining the vr experience.The gameplay itself was fantastic. This turned out to be a fantastic party option for a special occasion for my child’s pre-teen/ early teen group. The folks at Chambers couldn’t be nicer and the kids genuinely seemed to enjoy themselves. Much gratitude and big mahalos to Chambers for a great event.

I love this place and have done every room. They really make us feel welcome. The technology is awesome and if you don’t like that they have the most interactive “real life” room ever. Its al it of fun to do with family and friends. It is a must do if your are visiting the island. It’s a nice break from the beach and sun.

Stepping into a world like I have never seen before, this experience is truly something spectacular. Whether in a space station, underwater or in Medieval times, it is a sight to behold. A great space for adventuring and I would do it again and again. Top of the line stuff. Very progressive. Will certainly leave a lasting feeling of satisfied wanderlust. The Chambers Escape Games in Honolulu has truly amazed me.I have never experienced the like-a-real-life quality of gaming as it was conjured in this Virtual Reality venue. The quality of graphics, the excellent sound track delivered through noise cancelling ear pieces, and the ability to work as a team with my networked friends gave us the unusual sense of excitement . We truly enjoyed the sense of being submerged in the wondrous world of Osiris, the magical game of submarine archeology.They have a few more games available, located in a medieval town haunted by a dragon, a space station and a horror-filled hospital; we will not rest until we conquer them all.The games are suitable for adults as much as children and build a wonderful sense of teamwork.The Chambers Escape is - in my opinion - the top Honolulu attraction when it is time to withdraw from the beaches and ocean.

First of all I want to start with the friendly staff. They were so helpful in detailing the game and what we would be doing. Plus the game itself was fun we did dragon tower and couldn’t stop laughing and having fun. Would definitely come back and worth the money.

This virtual experience is amazing!!! The way it operates is so more realistic in the way that you are immersed, such as being able to go under water or stabbing a shark. After writing this review I am going to do another one! Gotta go! :D
