The Holyoke Merry Go Round is part of the Holyoke Heritage Park that also includes the Childrens Museum, Volleyball Hall of fame, and Splash Park (2019).The rides are $2 for one, or $10 for six. Check their Facebook page for free events. The rides themselves last ~4 minutes, and it goes fast, so the kids are going to like it, and youll feel like you got your moneys worth. You can also book a birthday party for $14 per child with unlimited rides for 90 minutes.The Merry-Go-Round itself is historic, its the last out of 90 built by the manufacturer that is still in operation. The horses are wooden and the two inner rows move up and down. An organ plays the familiar sounds during your ride.At the ticket counter you can also get juices, snacks, t-shirts, and other items. There is a drink vending machine with sodas for $1. The employees and volunteers are all very nice and friendly. They go out of their way to interact with you and your children and make sure youre all having a fun time. Theres a reason this staple of Holyoke is rated so highly, its a great way to spend time with your children.

My son had his first party here, we could not have asked for a better experience. From start to finish the staff was attentive, friendly, and so helpful. Our guests had a great time as well!!! Would recommend this to anyone who is planning an event and wants a fun and inviting atmosphere!

A fantastic place to bring your kids. Its one of the few Merry Go Rounds that run at the proper speed so it can be a little intimidating for some very young kids. I highly recommend visiting at least once.

Such a nice place to visit even when the Merry-Go-Round isnt working was there for a birthday party and the burgers were very good they rented a truck and it was outside through a lot of flies around though I was the only down part

This classic MerryGoRound is very well preserved and is enjoyed by children of all ages. It is one of the citys crown jewels and worthy of a visit.

Great price for ride, has popcorn, but no other food or drinks. Its cute for a before lunch or after lunch trip. It is also located near a park, kids museum and a lot of places for picnics.

Here youll find the original restored (and relocated) carousel. Several dollars per ride, cash and cards now too. Theres history information scattered about along with some other original artifacts of early 1900s amusements.Space available for kids birthdays and other functions. Popcorn and light snacks. Plan for an hour or less.Accessible but may be too loud for the sensory sensitive.

I hate this place buy my 1 year old niece is such a fan. Would recommend for a childs birthday or just a quick treat for the little ones.
