Came here with friends for vacation and this is one of the two courses we played. Very fun round, fast greens, kind staff. Was not very crowded on a Friday afternoon. Pro shop has some cool items and clothing.
Great east and west course options. Decent greens but sometimes the grass is burnt (FL sunshine I guess). The no cooler policy is ridiculous during Covid times, as Id prefer to bring my own water/snacks.
Course was a little wet, to be expected its been rainy. There was very little signage to help guide what they want you to do to avoid closed holes and were pretty rude to 8 guys trying to juat have fun. I will not be back
There are always plenty of tee times available and the course is very forgiving. One of the most economic options for golf in south Broward County.
Fun, excellent pace of play (
This place is awesome.Ive played golf in multiple places in Florida and to be honest, the quality of their customer service is one of the best. Highly recommended!
Dirt track...What a shame. as a lover of the game, I know how desperate you have to be when you want to get out and play. Have some imagination and travel... you dont have to go far find some great turf and green greens that roll for reasonable rates
We had a blast. Nice little track. Some Greens need some work.
They should probably stop offering disc golf at this facility... One of my disc golf buddies suggested playing there, and it happened to be his birthday. So I call the week prior to book a tee time, and was told even though its summer and not as busy, to call the day before we wanted to play to get a tee time. Called the day before we wanted to play, and was told to call the morning of and see if they would let us on. Needles to say, when I called back a third time on the morning of, I was told they dont let disc golfers on the courses on the weekends??? Very disappointed to say the least. Will be leaving the same review on the broward disc golf association site and udisc site as well. Like I said before, they should stop offering disc golf at this facility...
Review of east course only: Much standing water on east course. Greens in tough condition there. No water on the course to drink. Cart paths extremely broken up and uneven causing significant risk of cart rollover. No refreshments on course. Many bare spots throughout the course. No flexibility on playing weekday 9 hole rounds except before 8 am. Not customer focused in any noticeable way.
Its probably nice. I have a few sets of golf clubs for sale cheap. Also a case of new balls and 2 bags
Awful condition. Should be closed and bulldozed. Greens are the worst in all of south florida
I love the driving range here! It may not be fancy, but it has what you need for a great price. The hours are also extremely convenient. As for the golf course, you can save a few bucks by going in the afternoon which I would recommend as the greens could use a little work at certain times of the year. Orangebrook is deceivingly massive, giving you the option of playing the east or west course. I personally prefer the west course specifically because I like the 18th hole.
Played disc golf there a few times. Overall everyone gets along with the exception of a few golfers that feel entitled enough to talk down to you. Golfers have the priority and disc golfers must wait to throw when there is a break between groups. Im fine with waiting but there is no need to try and belittle someone because they arent playing the same sports as you.
Its a good track to just swing away, I would rate it 3 stars.
They are supposed to be cleaning the carts after each use but when I golfed there and left my watch in cart #108 when I called briefly after they said no watch was found so either they arent following Covid-19 safety procedures or the cart guy stole my Samsung Galaxy Watch
Friendly staff. Huge course. I got lost trying to find number 16 east. Will definitely go again
Nice easy course only problem was older gentlemen kept cutting in front of us
Played a few days before they sanded the greens, but then the greens are never real good here. Overall, course is in better shape than Ive seen it in past several years. Good place to practice your tee-to-green game without losing balls.
2 course options. East hold more water during heavy rain but West is better irrigated
This course is close to home so I come here about once a month or so. I bring my grandson (Hes 11) and he is learning to play pretty good on this course, I think he really only comes for the golf cart but its still family time, right?! Great course, affordable and fun!
Enjoyed the golf. Of coarse in December all golf is great.
Best Ive seen in years. Even with rain. Only course willing to let guest play when drizzle or rain. No issues on flooding at least the east side. Greens are green and healthy. Slow roll but that is the norm at this course... Enjoy..
We are just passing through Ft. Lauderdale and stopped in here to play a round. We were greeted by very friendly staff who processed us and got us on the course very quickly. We played the West course and enjoyed it very much. Tee boxes, fairways and greens all in very good condition and well maintained. A very interesting course that we enjoyed and plan to come back to again. A great vslue and a great course for the price
The price of the course reflect the condition. Fairways are pretty rough and most if not all of the greens had weeds on them. If your looking for a cheap place to go out and play some golf this place is great, but if you want a nice course you will be severely disappointed.
Love Bea at our Thursday morning BNI meeting. She always goes above and beyond to provide us excellent customer service.
Was a great course! Day was a bit iffy with weather but we completed the round with minimal rain. Greens were pretty well taken care of but slow due to weather. Had a great time and would love to do it on a sunny day to see if I can break 100! Lol!!
Love this course!! Always a good day!!
Nice Public course that is well looked after.
Great disc golf layout and having a golf cart is amazing my only complaint is the tee pads should be marked out better
Greens were a bit lumpy and inconsistent and it was really soggy.
Good value for the price. $20 tee times after 11am on the weekends. Greens are in good shape with medium to fast speed. The great thing about this course is pace of play. Ive played this course 5-6 times and Ive never gone over 3.5 hrs. Usually get done in 3. East course is longer than the west course. West course is a little more challenging. Service here is great.
The green were pretty good for the price to much iguanas on some wholes
We got rained out today Oct. 7th. The staff was pleasantly helpful with rescheduling.
This is a good golf course for an ok price. The only complaints I have is that the course could be way better maintained for the price we are paying. While the staff, pro shop, and golf carts are all really good quality, the restaurant and actual golf course need some improvement. There is also an upside, 2 full courses (36 holes total).
Lots of weed on greens and tee boxes and course not well drained in the morning. Wide open course.
Took my daughter to the driving range at Orangebrook. We were lucky to get a spot in the shade area. They should have more shade.
Played 18Some of the teeboxes could use some workBeer and liquor cart serviceMaximized the use of spaceYoull be playing next to a few industrial buildings and some nice mobile homes
Course has always been a hit or miss when it comes to condition. I had played it years so I decided to look at the recent reviews and they were positive so gave it a chance. Surprisingly it was in much better condition than anticipated. Great round on the west course. Car paths need repair but the course was in very decent conditions. Only one green with patches.....rest in great shape including the fairways.....for $ 25 you cant be that deal. Will try the EAST in a month since I was told that the green on the EAST course would be aerated on Monday Jul 23rd.
Good course for the price, most greens in good shape. Sign says no outside food or drink, I dont particularly care for not being able to bring a bottle of water.
Golf Course its ok, greens a little slow, not bad for the price, nice people took care of us until I was on my way out and a guy with an accent almost jumped down my throat and started scolding me because I had a little cooler with water, he was the restaurant manager I think, told him, I got your message, ... You HAVE TO BY THE WATER FROM ME ( I THINK HE THINKS THAT IS HIS PERSONAL GULAG), BECAUSE I PAY THIS AND I PAY THAT, then my patient started going low, I said, It wont happen again, the way kept no stop to the point I turned my back on him and left. We were three, we were going to eat there, but after that, we left. I think, someone should teach this gentleman manners and how to treat the course patrons.
Cheap for the nice green condition.
Good place for the price
The golf was good, customer service was great. I grabbed a beer and a dog after in the restaurant... That was my highlight
Went for an celebration, the set up and views were awesome.
They went out of their way to make our event special. I strongly recommend this venue.
The driving range is great. That dude James was fantastic and helpful. The range is a great place to hit balls. The course was decent great for the price. But that dude James needs a promotion.
Great range, lots of mats, well lit at night. Good price (about 12 bucks ) for a very large bucket.
The golf course is beautiful but needs a lot more work. Personnel under par.
Course in good condition. Water and sand hazards. Comfortable course to play. Many iguanas on the course and saw several burrows with baby ground owls. Easy location to get to.
When rating a golf course you have to consider the green fee. Orangebrook is amongst the cheapest courses around but definitely not the worst one out there! The staff is always friendly and helpful. Both courses have fairly fun layouts and are kept in good condition given the price you pay.
Great conditions. No yard markers.
Nice course. Forgiving fairways and interesting layout. Challenging holes forcing you to think and play different clubs. Great value and a helpful friendly staff. Worth the time.
Inexpensive course but well maintained. Clean facilities with good staff.
Decent place to play. West course is easier but better maintained than the East course. Usually not very busy. Staff isnt very friendly though.
Played a round on the West course last weekend. Hole 1 had foot deep craters on the fairway. They didnt even bother filling them up with sand or anything. Its a mediocre course for the price. The greens were in pretty good shape though. Ill play this course once in a while in winter time while the prices of all the other courses spike above my budget.
Greens are not the best but its a fun layout...
Ugh... Not sure where their money is being spent here. For the number of people out on a Monday, they should take better care of their grounds. We played the east course. The guy checking us in was snippy. This municipal style club is charging double what they should. From the tee boxes to the greens, there was nothing that begged the $46/pp fee. The fairways were full of ruts. The greens were hardly that. No smooth roll out due to them being comprised of mostly grassless sand. The layout would be fun if it was tended to correctly.
The design of the Court is marvelous but the maintenance of the course is not so good. I Have played In better courses
Best cheapest golf course in Florida !!! Small green not fast but very good for THE PRICE!!!
2 courses....nice people...reasonable fees.
This course gets a lot of play, but the cost is right and the people are nice and accommodating. I enjoy playing here. I would give it a half a star more if I could.
I heard that this course had a disc golf course and I was pumped to go check it out. I headed there early Wednesday around 9 am. I checked their website for hours of operation and their website says nothing about a disc golf course or certain hours of operation for it. It only had the times for the course itself. I didnt call to confirm, I mean its 2017 and most everything is on web based. I confirmed the course existed by a few other websites. When I walked in the man greeted me kindly enough and when I asked to play a round of disc golf he just shook his head no. As I stood there in silence he then figured out that I wanted an explanation to his body language. He told me it doesnt start until after 3:00 PM in a rude tone. I replied with a statement advising that there is nothing on their website disclosing times for the course, I assumed it was a separate course on the grounds. After that comment he was not happy, he snapped back and said we are a golf course first and it is in season Like I, a paying customer was not welcome because I wasnt playing traditional golf. I then told him that it would be appreciated if they could update their website. For anyone looking this place up for disc golf hours, in the winter its after 3PM on the weekdays. Not sure about the weekends or summer. This is a review on the staff not so much the course. When I get the chance to go back and play the course Ill review it again and I will post hours of operation for the DGC. Hopefully that guy wont be working.
Good greens good fairways lots of use lots of use lots of use no eticate i.e. repair ballmarks, rake the traps, maybe a couple of signs would help such a good place.
My second time there I always enjoy myself there so beautiful place,
They should let you know when maintenance is being done to the greens. Horrible to putt.
Staff very nice. Not much grass on fairways but a good place to work on your swing.
Great environment and the service was off the chain. The food left a lot to be desired. I have never been served chicken and fish on one plate. I would have preferred being given a choice of the two.
Great as usual and its always a good time
This review is for the driving range.. Good prices, new mats and easy to get in and out.
Great greens helpful staff. Friendly and accommodating.
I HATE HOW I TRAVEL TO GO TO THE DRIVING RANGE IN THE EVENING AND IT IS CLOSED EVERY TIME. OR THE RANGE GUY TELLS YOU NOT TO HIT OVER TO THE RIGHT SO HE WONT HAVE PICK UP THE BALLS ON THAT SIDE. OR IT RAINED TO MUCH!!!! GET YOUR SHXT TOGETHER OB. PEOPLE HAVE LIVES.
Solid layout, friendly staff, average condition of the golf course and great prices. Honestly it is a solid 3/5 golf course. Recommend it to anyone and will make it a regular course in my roster.
Great staff. Very friendly. However, Patchy course, Greens are just ok. No rakes for the sand traps. OMG ...too much wildlife. Yesterday I saw 2 raccoons,1 snake in the ruff, Iguanas were HUGE roaming everywhere, aggressive ducks ( because people feed them), and a couple of owls. This experience made me so nervous I couldn’t focus on my game.I will not be returning to the wildlife sanctuary!
Orangebrook is what it is: an affordable course with everything being just about average. Quality of the course average. Food average. Service average. Range average. Here is the kicker: I went last weekend and played 18 holes and got a cart for $12.99That cannot be beat.If you go to the biltmore a large bucket of balls is $12.For that reason alone this place should get 5 stars. Do not come here expecting to find the best golf course or the best experience. Come here to get the best deal.
Very clean, friendly staff, affordable price
The golf course was in good shape and the starter staff were excellent
I dont remember going to this course but I dont remember anything bad about it.
Reasonable golf course and price was right.
The staff was unorganized and quite rude. Its almost like they did not know what they were doing. I would not recommend.
Golf lessons for kids are great and the food is good, too.
Driving range then putting greens .
Very pretty place. My son had his school dance here. He enjoyed himself.
No yardage markers but nice.

Avoid this golf course. Greens were the slowest greens Ive ever played on. The greens also had huge sand patches where I could of used my SW to hit it out. The staff is nice, but clearly the course isnt taken care of properly.
I have played hundreds of rounds of golf, and this is unequivocally the worst course I have ever played on.
Nice course
Expectation was met and beyond!
Very Reasonable but the East Course we played was pretty rough. Lots of plugged balls and several mushy areas. Lots of traps but never raked. Sprayers paradise helps the high hdcper. Back 9 a little dryer. Nobody repairs a ball mark. Decent practice area. Staff friendly enough. Ive heard the West course is much better.
Great golf course and good restaurant and bar at a reasonable price.
How can they charge $50 for this course? Actually $45 because they give you a $5 discount on account of their bad green conditions. I dont know if they are delusional or have never played another course before but this golf course is in horrible shape everywhere. Not just the greens! It is one of the most poorly manicured courses Ive ever played. Not worth the money.
Fun friendly
I am in utter shock. I have been paying for lessons at this place for the last two months and they were going well. Heck, I was thinking about taking more, but no longer. I over looked the instructor being tardy or once not even showing up, but i cant overlook this.I went to the driving range last night, and hit a few balls and it started lighting, so rushing out I left my sunglasses. I called this morning to see if they were in lost and found and I got a cold shoulder. My wife decided to go there and check since I was at work, and they couldnt find them. There response to my wife, was He should have bought cheaper sunglasses. What? Yes, it was my fault for leaving the glasses, but what kind of answer is that? All he had to say was, I will ask the employee when I see him. Done, but the answer he gave is NO way to treat a customer.
