Worlds Largest Victorian Dresser. It stands 32 and although you cannot enter or take a tour, it is still a truly fascinating site. There is parking at the side and on the back. It is mostly unpaved gravel parking. The building is adjacent to others and seems unoccupied. It is on a main road that has lots of other roads connected. Please be careful and watch for traffic while taking your photos. There are some fast-food restaurants near by. Not really much to see near by unless youre going to see the worlds largest big boy dresser located not far from here. They have a starbucks and it is a furnature store.
Its such a cool thing to see as youre driving by, and honestly who doesnt want a picture with a giant dresser in the background, right? so i thoroughly enjoyed seeing this awesome site. i recommend that everyone stop by!
I mean what can I really say about the world’s largest chest of drawers?? I didn’t know this was even a think but found it charming and very cool.
Its a large dresser, or chest of drawers. Thats it. Not made of wood. Its located in a questionable area. Theres no other touristy things around. You cant climb it. Takes about two minutes. Theres a building attached to the backside but it looked closed and had no signs on it. I dont even know if it had anything to do with the dresser. Its oddly weird but would not have gone out of my way to see.
We were passing through High Point, which is of course known for furniture manufacturing as well as textiles etc. and since I saw this attraction on Google we decided to check it out. It was fun and worth the 5 or ten minute stop to take a few pictures and briefly explore the large chest. Probably not worth going out of your way for, unless you are some kind of furniture buff. Also the area seemed fine but didnt look like there was much else to do in the immediate neighborhood.
It was a sight to see, and it was as tall as a one or two story building. It was a nice little detour in our adventure and was fun sight to take pictures at.
Nice place for a quick stop photo opp free parking around the corner
A fun little roadside attraction thats worth seeing
Its a building that looks like a chest of drawers, however when we drove out of the town we did see a furniture store that has a chest of drawers as part of its store front that looks almost twice the size.
Nice place to take a picture
This is amazing. We went when was grey. Now is more cute.
Fun to stop by for a photo & to add to your memory book. Snapchat has a couple of snap for the dresser.
Well, its a huge dresser. Not much to say about it. Really cool though.
Easy place to park and take a picture
A unique selfie stop if youre staying in the area. Not sure if its worth the stop though if youre just driving through.
This is one kooky icon of High Point. Thing is - if you love furniture - High Point happens to be the Furniture Capital of the World. Yes, World. Long story short - back in the day - we made so much furniture from the timber here and folks from else where would drive their wagons here to come buy. As time went by, crazy, adventurous designers moved here and we have a bizarre blend of home style Southern and cutting edge design. Great historic district, furniture libraries, furniture stores, seriously excellent restaurants and art. Plus - John Coltrane is from here! We have a jazz festival. My advice - come stay at the J.H. Adams Inn (they have jazz on Thursdays, I think - it might change) but a majorly historic house that has been renovated into an Inn, excellent restaurant, and just - cool. All the rooms are decorated based on various world renowned furniture lines. What I really like about the place is all the outdoor space. Inside / outdoor living.
This Drawer Has A Great Gray Color I Like The Way The Sock Are Hanging Out Of The Drawer With That Color It Blends In With The Color Of The Drawer & Its Also In A Nice Spot Wonderful Just Wonderful
The kids love seeing this on the way to school daily
A fun sight to see, but theres not really anything to do there.
So much fun!
There is a bigger one near furniture land south. And only a few minutes away.
Awesome!
This is such a cool landmark! I wish you could go inside it.
Awesome little road side attraction. Quick easy visit.
Non-operational
Its cool except for the worlds largest pair of dirty underwear!
I love it I took a pic here
The most boring thing Ive ever seen. The people were nice though, so not a total waste of time.
Just cool. Nothing really to do but take a picture. But what a cool picture. Close to good eateries.

You cant go in them, but they are super cool. Its been recently refurbished. Thank goodness for people who care about history.
So not much else at this location but still fun enough to see. Take your picture the see what else High Point has to offer
Just a large dresser. Very cool though. Not much around it.
Christians have Jerusalem. Catholics have the Vatican. Judaism has the Temple Mount. Islam has Mecca. Me? I have the Worlds Largest Chest of Drawers.
Honestly a little bit underwhelming, but kind of cool to see if its not out of your way.
Cool thing to see
Made me crack up on site! Definitely worthy of a look!
Big dresser nothing else around
Some cool one of a kind items a bit pricey average quality

Its a privately owned building, but good for photographs in front of it.

Fun quirky stop with the family. Stopping here with the kids allowed for lots of stupid fun little jokes for the long car ride.

So many memories of the chest of drawers! My daddy was a jaccee and they used that building.

It is as advertised, dont go out of your way to see it, but if you are close, it is worth the chuckled.
