Our son wanted to visit the museum so we went on Saturday October 17th 2020. It was a small place but packed with history of PA/ PA State Police events that occurred over the years. We loved it. The gift shop had an assortment of items to pick from. If you get a chance stop by you wont be disappointed.
Top notch organization. Love HEMC
Excellent displays and a lot of history. Definitely worth visiting.
Very very small museum, but very interesting! I learned a lot from my visit and saw a collection of varied artifacts, from different uniforms to materials from State Trooper Rodeos (I found an amusing bit in the program information they had available) to significant historical items (artifacts from news stories around the State that received national attention).I spent about an hour and a half inside, taking things in slowly. I would at least dedicate an hour to this museum if you plan on visiting. Maybe two if you choose to read many of the resources available. It was covered with snow when I visited, but please make sure to take a few moments at the Wall of Honor. The staff is incredibly friendly and a joy to interact with.My main reason for wanting to visit was because some of the artifacts were featured on Travel Channels Mysteries at the Museum. While they shared many details of the story behind the artifacts there was still much to learn.
Everyone was extremely friendly and talkative if you had a question. The tour was outstanding, and I highly recommend this place.
The outside of the museum looks like a basic, small house so we weren’t sure what to expect but once inside, we were drawn into the history and artifacts. Great find, this doesn’t seem to be advertised much.Thank you to all of the PSP for their dedication and support.
The history of the state police was awesome To learn about.Hats off to the men and women of the state police, thank you.
An amazing academy. Great staff. Great training. Clean and tidy....as expected. Everyone is very accommodating and respectful. Check out the museum. Great spot!
Very informational. My next visit I wil plan ahead to get the guided tour.
Love the history of our Boys in Grey.
Museum is very informative about PA State Police history.
Terrific small museum that gives the history of the Pennsylvania State Police.
Incredibly moving. We often forget our heroes in Blue. Their stories are inspiring.
Such a nice museum. Its not huge, so you can easily drop in and look around for a bit and not have to rush through it. Great views of the surrounding area as well!
A wonderful display of policing history.
Great history of the PSP; $5 for the museum tour; friendly and helpful staff
Excellent museum with rare artifacts and an excellent guided tour.
Very nice setup for the public to see the sacrifice, courage and dedication of the PASP. We left with newfound knowledge and lots of merchandise from the giftshop.
Nice if in the area gotta go see
Small but well set up to display the evolution of PSP weapons and uniforms. Also several displays of major incidents in which the PSP have been involved. I was disappointed that there were no old police vehicles on display.
Was there for a seminar. nice facility.
Great. We loved the sections on Flight 93, the Camp Hill riots, and the police Rodeos. Wish it were bigger, and that we could meet a policeman!
A must for any law enforcement buff, the museum features the history of the Pennsylvania State Police and significant events through out thier history. Stop by the gift shop for tshirts, toys and other novelties.
