I arrived a Black Mountain Rec Aquatic on Friday June,19th 2020.I was hoping to go for a swim with my niece and nephew. There was a young woman working the booth, she told me I could only visit the pool by appointment only, she told me I couldnt schedule an appointment for that Friday June, 19th nor the following day Saturday June, 20th because both days were booked.The only day that was available was Sunday June 21st between 4-6 pm. She wrote down my information and took my $8 payment. Only to find out that the pool was not even open on Sundays.. Im not upset about the $8, but Im more upset about the fact she intentionally lied to me. I was really excited to visit the pool with my niece and nephew. Today, I called and spoke with Nate who said he would refund my card. But, he never asked for any information to apply a refund to my card.

Cheap and fun. U can spend all day here. Bring your own food and drinks. Lifeguards are cautious, attentive, and easy going.

So fun to have a clean, safe, fun pool right in the neighborhood! Priced so reasonably too!

Very nice affordable water park for the family. Get there early so you can get a good spot! You can bring your own food and water too. They also have life jackets for the kids. Definitely a great alternative to the big active water parks in town. The kids always have a blast!

I received exceptional customer service from Elizabeth! I went to enroll my little one for tumbling class and it was cancelled. My son was so disappointed. Elizabeth and I finally found a class for him that could accommodate our schedule and he was happy with swim class! Thank you Elizabeth for making our experience pleasant!!!!

Love the aquatic center. We drive out from boulder city to go here at least 3 or 4 times a summer. The kids love the big slide. Its nice we can take in our own food and drinks or stuff is available for purchase. Wish boulder city had a place like this.

Take my son here weekly for his basketball games. It is always clean, they have a friendly staff, and provide a safe environment for the kids. Couldnt be happier!

I like this way better then the Whitney Ranch center, my stepdaughter agrees as well. Wish they had more then one slide and more chairs, but other then that, very nice place to keep cool for the summer at a cost effective rate. Food is better, lifeguards are nicer, the view is impeccable, and the restrictions keep it a safe environment for children. Will come back all summer!

What a great experience. I used to go there years ago. Its much better, cleaner and friendlier than years ago. The water was so crystal clear and clean.The Lifeguards were very friendly and pleasant.

This pool is GREAT!!! A lifeguard at least every 5 feet, some standing some sitting up in towers. You know your child will be safe. Plus its zero depth entry is wonderful and so much for the kids to do!!! You have to visit!

Was a great time!! Needs a little more shaded areas, but there are personal cabana type shades for a small price. The kids had a great time. The lifeguards were personable and professional.

My son attends the kidzone on summer and spring. They have great activities.

Its a great place for pickleball. Competitive & Friendly.

Black Mountain pickleball courts are awesome. Lines are easy to see and people there very friendly and will to help you learn the game. Wish there was a large place to place on Saturdays that inside in case of weather. Courts and everything are 5 star. The only drawback is the weather

Went here for my granddaughters birthday and the kids had a blast. Very clean, nice and friendly staff. It was very hot that day but the water park took care of that. Recommend for kids parties.

When I take my son here during off school days the staff is always very knowledge able and ready to help. My son really like going there to spend the day and play.

Great childrens programs

Very nice swimming pool. Lots of places to sit and picnic! The slide is awesome for independent kids and the toddler area is perfect for the little ones. Love it, will be visiting all summer!!!

The dont allow you to use the slide over 2 times

Awesome and affordable, my kids had a blast at only a fraction of what other water parks cost. Its perfect for little ones.

Very clean place...Very safe for a kids...WATER on the pool clean...not glass container permitted...Good environment...Very friendly and kindle staff...lifeguards care everyone over the kids...Good for family with...nice complex

Doggy Paddle Day

Doggie Play and Paddle Event.So at the end of pool season they open the pool to dogs of all sizes, they have different time slots for dogs of different sizes (weight). We were in the medium size dog group. It was well organized, it cost $10 if you prepay online and $15 day of the event, I felt it was well worth it. It wasnt too crowded, you were able to easily keep track of your dog and enjoy yourself. Plenty of lifeguards for the dogs safety and an animal control officer was on site, which put me at ease. There were a few booths with local vendors and a dj playing music at the pool. They provide towels for the dogs to use and lots of tennis balls to toss around. There were plenty of seats for the humans and even some shade! There is even a small grassy area for the dogs to romp around or do their business...owners must pick up after their dogs!Loved this event and will definitely go again. My one gripe was there were no drinks for humans or canines. We luckily brought a bottle of water but itd be nice if they sold some there.

My daughter has attended ballet classes here and I found the facilities to be clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful with any questions. They have a nice selection of activities for kids.

Online says they open at 11am we get here and a small sign says closed for the season. Very upset

The pool area was so great. Great way to cool off.

The entire complex is very nice. The cost to use the aquatic center is affordable. Full locker room with showers and lockers.Next door is the Senior center. This place is awesome. Theres something for ever one. FREE is the word of the day. Art classes, fitness room, pool tables and much more. 5 STARS

Fantastic pool, never really too crowded. Salt water with a kids area. Walk in entrance with a slide and adult area. Snack bar and cabanas area available.

$28 yearly pass is the move

Nice place for families with young children. Theres no deep pool or diving board unfortunately.

Fun place to hang out but if your looking forward to a quality swimming time i wouldnt recommend it since the deepest end is 4 feet.

I come here to workout with my friend sometimes. This place has a nice basketball court, and a good amount of workout equipment. I personally think that the gym is slightly small, however, it works.

Took my Grandson here today, we had so much fun,,a must visit..
