Good center with lots to do, arts and crafts, billiards and cards, an outdoor pool and hot tub. Also has spectacular views of the mountains.

We lived here for 11 years. It is a truly beautiful place if you like living in the desert. The facilities are phenomenal. The activities offered ensure that you will never be bored. It is a community for seniors who want to be socially active.

Great community center with pools, fitness facility and ballroom.

Just bought our second home here. I dont find it very welcoming when we go visit the clubhouse. grumpy old man staff in front of the gym was so rude while we were showing our friends around. This is because we dont look like 80 years old I think! The fact that we are here, we certainly have the right to be here, so staff need to treat everyone with respect or my advice to the facility, replace them with more pleasant employees!

Offer everything you need to have an active life style. Its located in a quite area and its in a 55 an older community. Nice view, nice people. We theatre own t.v. station. Lots of clubs to join, bis trips. Just do much to offer

A fantastic facility! Views are amazing!

To many facilities closed.

It is a great recreation center who it was made for, but if you are not an elderly person you would most likely be bored in a second. Do not bring your kids, because activites are short. Everybody will eye your child and make them feel like they are abnormal. Also, they can only swim for like 2 hours.. Then you must leave unless you have your kids leave the pool center.

At Anthem Center today for my daily workout at the fully equipped gym. Anthem center is more than a recreation center. It is a social center, activity center, resort, anything you wanna call it. Always friendly people to chat with.

Great place for the seniors in your life. Plus us young people can go and use the facilities with them. Really nice gym, pool and other stuff. Just dont do anything wrong.... they will send out the senior police to get you....haha

Lovely, well kept, and a convenient place to work out

Although the facilities and location are stunning and there are many activities to do on a daily basis, some of the residents seem to spoil that for others. My folks have a home in Anthem and many times other residents have reported them as not fitting the age 55+ restriction although they are way above the minimum age needed to obviously buy a home there. Ive guessed good genes were to be blamed. With that being said, recently my father asked permission at the front desk and brought some friends who happened to be prospective Anthem home buyers to check out the facilities and a bunch of unfriendly residents harassed them saying Residents Only!, with one even blocking their way. It is a shame and this behavior is not new since Ive also experienced this behavior years ago while visiting an aunt on the tennis courts and in this recreational center. Needless to say, this senior self-policing culture is absurd and is such a turn off for prospective buyers and guests. We actually have a family friend who chose to purchase a home outside of Anthem because of this unfriendliness.

Henderson is ridiculous. You hold a dog event in your snooty little enclave of my town, Las Vegas, and you have this rule: A FLEXI-LEAD IS CONSIDERED OFF-LEASH IN HENDERSON. ITS A VERY COSTLY TICKET IF YOU USE ONE. Tell ya what, Henderson, you keep your dogs out of Vegas, and Ill keep mine out of your little neighborhood!Its a snooty golf community, carved, literally, out of our beautiful, desert landscape. Period!
