John and Abby did a fantastic job. We visited with a tour and enjoyed our time so much we went back the next day. John was an incredible host with the tour, and when we visited the next day Abby spent a long time with us visiting and making us feel welcome even though we showed up rather late. On top of that, the wine is delicious as well.

John and his daughter Abby greet you with a smile and their wine insight. Awesome! Great little family owned gem offering up several varietals all from their estate vineyards. You will find them off the road well traveled near Old Redwood Hwy. Tucked into the bench and foothills of the Eastern Russian River Valley. Enjoy these beautiful wines and hospitality plus Pepper the Labrador Retriever. Very cool real deal wine country experience.

Best wine tasting experience ever. John and his team treat everyone like family. Their passion comes through in every conversation and gathering. We had a great time learning all about wines, grapes, and the nuances in the winemaking process from Abigail Viszlay. Great flavor profiles in their wines and beautiful countryside. True farm to glass. We definitely recommend a visit!

Lovely wines set in a vista of rolling hills; it does not get much better. A friend rented the house for the weekend. Absolutely spectacular. Wrap around porch, pool and hot tub, beautifully furnished.

I had a great time here! The owners were there in the tasting room; I found them to be very welcoming and friendly. They walked me through a range of their wines during the 45-minute tasting. The wines were fantastic and the space was quite charming. I especially loved the black lab puppy, Pepper, who greeted us upon our arrival. Id highly recommend stopping here.

Personal wine and cheese pairing, most informative and personal winery Ive visited, and a great value. The wine is excellent and the Viszlay family is sweet.Would recommend here before I recommended any other vineyard in California.

We had a great time with John telling us about the wine and winery. We had a group of nine on Saturday and he quit doing his work with the wine to help us and answer out stupid questions. John is great and this winery is worth going to

Super friendly and great wines

Best vineyard in the area! So personal, welcoming, and John is amazing. Oh and the wine is AMAZING! Last time we visited we brought our son who is new to wine and John sat with us and personally walked us through the tasting and told us his plans for the upcoming year, treated us more like friends/family than just a customer. Its the same experience we have every time we visit. Its also how we are treated when we call for wine club orders/changes John and Abby know who we are and treat us like friends. I love the wine and I love the owners! This is my ONLY wine club and my favorite place to visit when Im in the Napa/Sonoma area :)

Great wines and Incredible people!

Fantastic winery with beautiful views. The Zin and pinots are fantastic, and if you are lucky enough to taste the Cab Franc during barrel tasting, you will be in for a treat.

Had a great time talking to the owner and found their reds enjoyable.

Incredible small winery in Russian River, knowledgeable and friendly owners with a great array of wines that showcase what Sonoma County has to offer.

Abbey was great I have no complaints about the tasting with her. What was absolutely ridiculous was her father coming in from the other room to yell at the entire party to be quiet or he was kicking us out. First of all it was not loud enough to warrant a warning let alone one of the owners to raise his voice to customers. Second of all if someone is loud at your winery I hope you would be a little more accommodating than telling a group who is there to spend money to shut up and you will kick them out. Needless to say the experience was sub par and the wine was mediocre at best. Dont waste your time taking the trip out there. There are a significant amount of winerys in the surrounding location that are definitely worth the trip. Christopher creek being one of them.
