Great venue, superb wines. Have been a customer since 2012. Cannot get their wines on east coast, regular shipments to NJ.Customer service is spot on. If you are ever in the region you must stop by. Ed.
We loved the atmosphere of this farm. I loved that it is an active farm, which makes it more enjoyable. I loved the cats hanging out. I made the rounds petting them. Their olive oil was the best. Expensive, but delicious. Everyone enjoyed their homemade sourdough bread as wel. The wine was delicious. This is a must stop farm and winery.
This has long been one of my favorite wineries! Exactly how a winery should be! Laid back, scenic, biodynamic/honoring the land practices. It’s a fun place to hang out as well with the bocce area, cats, outside picnic tables and general ambience. Love they offer a jug wine days for locals sometimes making it more affordable. They’ve added the vegetables you can purchase for locals for pick up days.I was recently alarmed to learn of the appropriately 70 additives that wineries can add without our knowledge to make cheap wines taste better. It’s great to know of places like this we can trust to make a great product honestly!
Disclaimer: I am not a sommelier by any stretch of the word. Id describe my palette as appreciative of fine wine but not above the occasional Bota box or bottle of two buck chuck. This place is a lovely little oasis in the midst of wine country. We picked up some cheese and Sourdough bread and enjoyed a picnic-style tasting on the grounds, with an extra-friendly (not annoyingly so) farm cat who we called Scout.Everyone we encountered was welcoming and friendly, and did not seem to judge the fact that neither my partner nor I were wearing boat shoes or dressed in wine-tasting attire. Side note: this is a thing. Google it.Anyway - we loved the chill vibe and the wine was delicious. Highly recommend bringing some cash for the farm store. Overall, five stars from us!
Lovely place, but I was underwhelmed by the wines. All the wines were drinkable, but provided little value for what they cost. Blends are Rhone inspired, but lack the length, complexity or spiciness you’d expect in this climate. The whole set-up with garden, picnic area and home made products is very charming and their sustainable approach is great. But I come here for the wines.
Absolutely loved this place, the people and their mission. And we tasted some great wine!
Great plave to enjoy organic wines!
Loved visiting this adorable little vineyard and farm. Super friendly, delicious wines, great vibe, amazing olives and olive oil to taste between your wines! Great farm books too to inspire you. :)
Great winery with a very laid back vibe. Great for families. We brought our toddler and she had plenty of safe, shady areas to wonder about.
I had a wonderful visit here. Kirsten gave my friend and I some great advice. The wine tasting was fun, and the scenery and atmosphere was amazing. Beautiful place, great experience.
Lou Prestons wines are some of the best on Dry Creek... Madam Preston is one of the most stellar whites youll ever have the pleasure of drinking and his Zins are delightful. That plus beautiful grounds for picnicking and an organic farm store. A small slice of heaven.
Mostly dinner wines, not a lot of freestanding wines on the menu.
The Best wine tasting experience! We are wine lovers from a wine country ( Argentina) and Preston is our favourite Californian winery. The place is magic! Dont miss Zinfandel and their deliscious olives and homemade bread.
Wine was decent but the grounds were beautiful and the bread was excellent. Go for the rye! Its surprisingly dense and packed with bold flavor.
Bought two bottles of Syrah during a visit there. Just opened one and it is my new favorite wine. Would like to order more.
Place came highly recommended. We found the wines to be okay but all had a watery finish. The property is not dog friendly and we had to tie our dog up outside. They are cat people and I am biased against that.
Kind of a weird hippy farm-winery. They are into biodynamic farming practices...Google it. Interesting. I wasnt particularly crazy about any of the wines we tasted. Some were just ok, but others I didnt care for at all. The staff was friendly and reminded me of the folks that would work in a downtown Portland coffee shop. Cool, hippie folks...nice people...just didnt care for their wine. Didnt look at any produce...no comment there.
Great laid back vibe. Good single varietals. Delicious olives too.
I like wine
Heaven on earth.
